Draco's eyes narrowed as he looked at the woman. He turned his back on her and instructed Wormtail to "teach this old hag respect." He didn't havetime for trifles like torturing stubborn old women. He had business to take care of.

Wormtail nodded eagerly, grabbing McGonagall again. "I know that you're afraid to kill me, Malfoy!" she spat, attempting to wrestle off Wormtail. "As you should be! There's no one else in the world that knows where it is, and I would sooner die than divulge its location."

Draco spun around, a malicious glint in his silver eyes. "Oh, I don't think there will be a problem with making you do either. Wormtail!" He nodded at his servant. "Get the Veritaserum. Minerva here has some explaining to do."
Jess, meanwhile, was sitting on her bed, taking her clothing out from her bag and organizing them on the mattress before putting them away. At the bottom, she saw a piece of paper that Peter must have stashed in there while packing. It was a drawing she had done of the dress robes she wanted for the wedding. She looked at it for a while, smiling to herself. At least she would look like royalty, even if it was pregnant royalty.

McGonagall's nostrils flared. The sheer impudence of this--boy--was more than enough to infuriate her. In a half second, she Petrified her jaw. Let's see him get it down my throat now, she thought. A few minutes later, Wormtail came simpering back, potion in hand.
"...and so, it's alright, then? If Jess stays a few months here?" asked Peter hopefully.

"Alright then, Wormtail, if you will." Draco took a seat, drumming his long, pale fingers on the arms of the chair.
Michael Keyes looked to his wife with a small smile. "I think it's a splendid idea. She's going to need some protection, especially if her family is so eager to kick her out. But..." He leaned in close and gave Peter a fatherly look. "She needs to understand that she is going to be part of this family, not a guest. She needs to help out as much as she possibly can. I understand that she needs her rest, but she still can't just laze around the way she did last time she was here."

Wormtail nodded obediently, uncorking the bottle and flicking McGonagall's jaw. It didn't open, and Wormtail jabbed at her face with his wand. It did nothing. "Perhaps, sir, if you tried...?"
Peter frowned. He didn't remember Jess lazing around. But he didn't want to get into an argument just now. "Sure. Fine."

Draco narrowed his eyes and sent a small shock at Wormtail's bottom via his wand. "Why do I keep you around?" He sighed and Summoned her to him, not wanting to deal with getting up and caring very little if she fell to her knees and got hurt from it. "Come now, don't make me open your mouth for you. I assure you, it will not be very pleasant."
Michael finished up his breakfast silently, lost in his thoughts. He cleaned up his plate and gave Peter one last look before going off to finish some work in his office.

Just then, McGonagall rather wished that he would kill her. He would never find the wand; she was certain of that. And so, in order to further provoke him, she looked up innocently and shrugged.
"My parents would really like to have you stay," Peter reported, as soon as he'd entered the room.

Draco gritted his teeth, binding her arms to her sides and pointing the wand straight at her mouth. "Don't make me blow out what few teeth you may have left."
Jess looked up from the picture, her eyes wide. "Stay? Oh, oh really?" She smiled and got up from the bed, which was getting increasingly difficult, and gave him a kiss. "That's good. I really don't want to be walking up seven flights of stairs in a few months."

McGonagall did not respond. There was absolutely no better way to die, and she was fully prepared to do so.
Peter smiled. "Neither do we." He spotted the dress design on the bed and beamed widely. "Say, are you busy two Sundays from next?"

Draco was getting visibly agitated, not thinking that in this way, he was letting her win. He jabbed at her mouth with the wand, small sparks emitting from the end until finally he managed to make some leeway.
Jess shook her head. "I'm not busy at all for quite a while apparently." She rubbed her stomach appreciatively. At least some good would come from this. "Well, besides the wedding."

The pain was quite beyond excruciating, but the most wonderful kind of torture she could imagine. Summoning up the last of her energy and strength and willpower, she managed to slide her jaws back together just slightly, and Petrified them again. If he broke them apart now, she would not be able to answer.
"Well, that's what I meant," explained Peter, laughing. "I was thinking of having the wedding then, right at the end of holiday. That way, we--well, our friends and I--could go to the train station together afterwards."

Draco made a low, hissing noise, and sat back in his seat. ""Wormtail, get rid of her. Maybe after some food deprivation, she'll be ready to open her mouth."
Jess thought about this for a moment. "That...that might be nice." She looked up at him with a concerned look though. "But, Peter, I thought I wasn't going back to school. I think it would be too hard to go to the station and not be able to get on the train." More like embarrassing.

Wormtail looked doubtful. "You think she will survive any longer, my Lord?"
Peter shrugged. "Well, you can see me off from home. There's probably not going to be very much room in the car, and sometimes Dad just drops me off at the station."

"Only if she decides to tell me what I need." He waved his hand dismissively, wanting to hear no more of it.
"Alright, that might be better." Jess leaned against him, trying not to weigh on him too much since she had at least another 10 pounds on her than usual. "This baby is getting too big. You take her."
