She had to admit he had her captivated. She found herself growing more drawn to him eveytime she visited. It was odd though. Even though she hadn't been told Cheetah's and lions couldn't be together, it seemed like a fauxpas to her none the less, but she supposed she too was terrfied of rejection. But then again, he did have that cheetah femme who lived with him, then went off and mated a lion... Maybe he was open to the idea?
Maybe that was why she traveled? She feared beign rejected, so she never stayed anywhere long enough to grow attached and be rejected. Maybe that was why she coulnd't find this pride. Maybe she was unconsiously scared they'd reject her? But still, she was afriad if she did start somethign with Uri, she might harm him by upping and leaving one night. Never to return.

Without a word Uri got to his feet and settled alongside the - ...actually larger - female, laying a paw almost carelessly on on of hers softly, made bolder by the happiness that came of being accepted for how he looked. He supposed it had been one of the reasons that as a cub, Kari'd caught his heart between her paws like a daughter he'd never fathered. She instantly accepted that his spots were normal, whereas she had none, and the dear pink cub had been so like him ~
What he felt for Dimu however was somewhat less than fatherly. The beautiful creature had just been a distraction, solving some of his loneliness, when she first came here. Then she'd prooved to be an interesting and endearing companion. Whether his friend travelled or stayed, he was glad the lioness was with him and knew him. Enchanting female, really.
Who would know and who would care she was a lion? She came and left so often, the Duma'bara wouldn't notice...

Dimu watched the cheetah as he made such a bold move to lay so close to her, and even chance to lay his paw across one of her own. She was lucky it was darker, and could only hope the color of her cheeks remained as white as her fur, and that the warmth in them didn't betray her.
But she couldn't help but smile happily, a content sigh escaping her maw as she rested her head near him and gave him a gentle nuzzle. Even if this was temporary, which it no doubtedly was, she was enjoying herself. She could simply forget she was a lion and he was a cheetah. It wasn't like she had heard of cubs coming from such pairs?
