She annyoed me a little, but I mean think of all she's gone through. Not only did she recently lose Edward, but she found comfort in JAcob and got really close to him. She got so close she fell in love. She has a battle raging inside her. Because she must pick one or the other if she gets her wish and becomes a vampire it's makes it harder to choose. But she knows she's loves Edward the most and that's who she must pick but she likes Jacob at the same time. It's a whole mess she's going through right after a span of depression.

O god don't get me started on how much i despised Bella in this book!!! Ur totally right about how she was acting. She was playing with Jacob's heart the whole time, and then would hurt him 2 be with Edward, bc she knew Edward would never leave her, so she was making out with Jacob, and skipping school to hold hands on the beach with him (WTF?????). Then she goes and invites him 2 her weding?!!?!?!??!?!?! Come on! just not bella @ all mad

Well, it bugged me a little that she was trying to hold onto both Edward and Jacob, but I figure that it just makes sense since she loves them both.
They both make her happy, so it's only natural that she would want to be with them.
As for the whole sex thing, it was a little weird. I agree, it seemed un Bella-ish to me. But I guess, she wants what she wants.

The only thing that really bothered me was that she is so rude to Alice when she is trying to help her. She went crazy mad when Alice "held her hostage". <---Highlight to see.
She also made me crazy when she tried to be "best friends" with Jacob. She is all flirty around Jacob. It is kinda like she is cheating on Edward.

Ayllin Obviously- If you haven't read Eclipse, well you shouldn't be in this forum at all! Okay, so Bella got on my nerves. A lot. She was horribly out of character, and she was an emotional wreck through out the whole book. Jacob and Edward were doing the best they could for her so that she would be happy, but it wasn't enough for her. They wanted to fight for her so she would be safe, but she wanted them both to stay with her so that they wouldn't get hurt- when they were OBVIOUSLY strong enough to be perfectly fine. She'd seen them both in action, and they continuously reassured her there would be no problem. And then her sudden sex drive. That was deffinatly not Bella-like at all. I always saw her as exactly the kind of person who would never have sex before they were married. And then even when he said no she kept going on about it- also not very Bella-ish. She seemed really mature in the past two books, and I noticed that it came back at the end of Eclipse. Just in time to make me desparate for the next book. I was really hoping that she would have to choose between them in this book- it's not fair to have both of them when they don't mix well. She was extremely selfish. The worst part is, she knew she was selfish, she just didn't do anything abou it. She just kept on being selfish. So there's my rant. Anyone feel the same, or have similar opinions? Anyone think I'm a total nut? I definatly agree with you... My mom also read the books. My mom wonders why that bella had sex with Edward in the fourth book after she bacame a vampire before seeing her baby!!! I dont get that at all... I hated how she would always drone on about her being a weak mortal and stuff like that. I also agree with you on this, I had thought that Bella was a very mature person untill the third book. And her wanting both Edward and Jacob was very very selfish! I also wanted her to have to choose between them too! I dont understand how Edward could reproduce, because he is dead... All in all I have to say that I did enjoy the whole series, I just find that I skip Eclispe alot... lol Kassandra

I guess her sex drive came from the fact that she wanted to turn soon.
So that the sooner she had sex, the sooner she could become a vampire.

OMG! i feel the same way. i mean, she just needs to clarify her boundaries and decisions with Jacob, Edward, and HERSELF.she does get really annoying, but sometimes it's kinda funny. as for the you being crazy part, i'm totally crazy but i think the same thing. maybe you are a little crazy, but who isn't?[/align][/

Yeah! She was really annoying in Eclipse I just wanted to grab her and shake her, she was so immature and selfish I'll admit that I actually had to put the book down and leave it for a couple of days before I could continue reading because her behaviour annoyed me so much. scream
