 Ku lived on the border between the pridelands and the southlands, perched precariously in a tree most of the day. However, today was different. Today was just one of those days where Ku wanted to try to get more familiar with her surroundings, and hopefully find her way home. She wandered in the grass, unknowingly venturing into the southlands.
After several hours of seeing nothing but grass, she stopped, irritated at the distinct sameness of the scenery. "Is anybody out there?" She called, her voice slightly raspy from having had nothing to drink almost all day in this heat. "Helloooooo?" She called again, but without waiting for the answer she figured would never come, she turned around to start the long walk home.
"Yeah, great idea, Ku. Let's go exploring, it'll be FUN. Yeah, right." She grumbled to herself. "That's the last time I try THAT."

 Her eyes searched the pride's outreach.
Softly pawing at the rock that she had made herself sit on. On the real top so much that if she moved another inch. She would fall promptly on her rump or back; about twenty feet down. Tumbling on rocks and such would be hectic but she didn't worry. Letting the breeze softly graze her fur that resembled a dark sky. Her floppy ears danced around the back of her head. Had she been closed in the small hut full of leafs and branches; it wouldn't be as peaceful...
Then she heard a 'hello' was someone nearby? Her maw wouldn't be able to get to push sound out. It was her inability. Her got on her hind legs; waving her paws up and her tail wagged. if there was anybody.. then hopefully this would get their attention. If they were lost. Waving her paws quicker to catch some attention.

Ku was about to start walking back to where she had come from when she saw the small paws waving in the air. She perked up instantly, forgetting how upset she had been moments before, and scampered toward the source. It didn't take long before she was at the base of the huge rock, staring up at the strange creature before her.
"Hey, what are you doing up there?" She sounded slightly worried, the odd creature wasn't a leopard (or part leopard, from the looks of it) and she had never met another animal that could climb very well. "Are you stuck?" She asked, beginning to climb, albeit with a bit of difficulty. After all, she was used to trees, not rocks.

When the girl started climbing. Well it seemed to be a girl in Nanu's eyes. She outreached a paw to the other. Blinking as her tag swung form each side. When she asked the question was she stuck or why she was up there. She couldn't really reply. So she shook her head from one side to the next happily. A goofy angelic smile crossed her maw.
What luck had she got when on her rock, to find a creature of black. Oh how she loved that color.. Her fur of the color of the dark sky started to become alive as the wing breezed through it. Watching the aluring gray eyes with her pale blue ones. Was she struggling up such an easy thing? Maybe. Well it seemed like it.. Watching closely to see if she had to help. Not really noticing how big the other one was compared to her.

"Are you even listening to me?" She asked, slightly irritated that the other did not respond, but intrigued by the odd creature nonetheless. "No no, I'm fine." She waved the helpful paw away, starting to get the hang of climbing on the rock. "Just gimme a minute."
After a short while, Ku ended up beside her new acquaintance, "My name is Kumbuko, what's yours?" She asked, "And what exactly are you? I've never seen a... What ever you are before." She tilted her head to one side, examining her.
