I am Nileregwen, or Nil for short. Welcome, and we hope you all have fun.

Also, as a side note, many of the character involved (okay, only the ones played by myself , NuklearWinterSallia, and Soy Nitron) were played for a few years over at our ezboard RPG.
This was before we decided to move to Gaia... and after we basically ran down to only two posting members...

• THIS IS A LITERATE RPG!
  
• No spamming.
  
• DO NOT POST IN THE RULES THREAD! EVER!
  
• No sexually explicit materials or role playing (you can say you slept with someone, but we don't want too many details).
  
• No outright character killing (unless it's your character killing and being killed, or it is preapproved by the character who will be dieing).
  
• No Godmoding.
  
• No stupid characters, please. Stay within the Realm of Tolkien.
  
• You can have better magic than there was in LOTR, but not unbeatable magic.
  
• Villains with a good angsty side are always welcome.
  
• No, you can't be princes or princesses of places unheard of. You have to come from somewhere on the Middle-earth map or you must have a good reason why they aren't.
  
• The only people who have supreme powers are the Valar. Currently, they are all being played by myself and occassionally Soy Nitron as well.
  
• WE NEED CANON CHARACTERS! Ask if you can play them, BEFORE playing them.
  
• Legolas is already taken. DON'T ASK TO PLAY HIM!
  
• You Character CAN NOT be related or in love with Legolas unless there's a damn good reason, and unless you clear it with me first! I'm getting sick of having to yell at people to stop trying to godmod my character by saying they're in love with him and he's in love with them!
  
• You can be an Original Character, but you MUST post your bio in the Original Characters Announcement.
  
• Out of species love is PROHIBITED (except for Human/Elf).
  
• You CANNOT post using *actions*. Please use complete sentences and paragraphs and punctuation and the like.
  
• No quoting other people's posts. It takes up too much room.
  
• Please use Punctuation Marks as well as Capitilization! We respect and demand good, if not decient, grammer.
  
• This board is checked and posted in EVERYDAY! Just to warn you...
  
• Have fun, and if you have any questions, feel free to pm me and ask or simply post in the OOC Random Things topic.

It's been going strong since August 2004, and the Guild has been working quite well since December 2004.

We are all glad to have new members. And many of us, myself the most among all, are happy to see new faces would might possibly want to play Canon characters.

I suggest purchasing "The Atlas of Middle-earth" if you are a hardcore Tolkien fan. It helps a lot.

Please, save it to your harddrive or to a disk or cd. I do not know how many times my Angelfire account will like to have that huge image looked at.
