 The year is 2110 and the first few cyborgs have been created. The technology had been there for years, but it wasn't until a terrorist attack on a moon satelite where hundreds were killed that they decided to use it. The took the mangled bodies of the people there and gave them to scientist who in turn tried to save them. Most of them did not survive, the rest made it, only to face a society that shun them. The survivors where forever marked as cyborgs, half human, half machine. Soon after this a group called the "True" who prided themselves of being 'true humans' started bombing the houses of known cyborgs. Now the cyborgs have to band themselves together if they want to survive.

((Ok, I guess we can start...))
A young girl only 12 sat between her parents spinning everyonce in a while to see all of the screens around her. Her parents were typing with wide smiles, thankful for being able to have their daughter with them. Suddenly the Screens turned red, alarms blared as the doors closed down. The girl stood up looking at the bright alarm lights until her father picked her up and started running down the other end of the room. He was almost out the door when it started closing, soon it was far too small for him to escape. He tossed her out just as the room burst on fire and blasted the right side of the girls body.
Alice woke up sweating and gasping for air. "Damn..." she said looking around, she was safe. There were no flames around her. She was back on earth, and on a an empty subway on her way to the Mopmex, the biggest supper city in all America. The small screens on the wall showed commercial for all sorts of different products that Alice couldn't afford right now. With her bags sitting besides her Alice remembered that she had left Jo, her girlfriend, and that public transportation was provably not the safest way to travel.

Yumi sighed as she read her new book, inkheart. She suddenly heard a little boom, like a small thunder clap. she boredly clicked the remote on and flipped through the channels until she found the news one. she looked at it, to see her parents work, bursting and glazed in flames. Yumi's eyes widened and her mouth gaped. she could hear screams through the tv. her eyes watered. her parents were dying, and she could do nothing about it. The newsreporter called everyone "dead", and at that moment Yumi flicked off the channel. She cried into her lap as a fusillade of explosions went off. she felt hot flames surrounding her..
at that moment Yumi quickly snapped out of her trans to see her old book, inkheart in her hands. she was sitting on the rooftops, looking into the bright sky gloomily, it had now been her fifth year since that fateful day..
