Rules I'm gonna put it in paragraph style to tortue you and to force you to read this. My rule's are pretty self-explanatory. No Cybering, duh! Just remember to keep it PG-13. I think most of you know what that means. Be Literate. No, not SEMI-Literate. Literate Meaning, each post must be 1-2 paragraphs long. Each paragraph should include at LEAST 4 sentences. And by sentences, i mean relatively long sentences. Nothing like "Bob was hungry. He went down to the Great Hall. He saw Harry. He sat next to him and ate." I mean, descriptive, people! Semi-long to long descriptive sentences. 4 of them at least. But, I HOPE you can do better than JUST 4. I can understand writer's block, but people, I'm not going to belive you 6 posts in a row.
If you have proved to be not Literate, I will be forced to remove you from the thread (and you have no idea how I hate doing that) Also, please put some creativitiy into your posts. I'm not asking for much but color your texts, make it smaller, make it bigger, maybe add a picture, add a quote. Anything else you want to do to make your posts seem 'pretty'. I don't care what but do SOMETHING. Please indicate somehow that you are talking OOC. Like [[ ]] or ( ) or something like that. No Spamming or Bumping or Advertising. This is a ROLE-PLAY. Not a 'post to get money' or 'Buy my stuff' forum. Go to the chatterbox for that kind of stuff. Also, I don't care what you name the subject when you PM your profiles to me. But make sure you do not include a ninja inside your profile. Instead, type out the word ninja smiley-face at the end of your application. Just to make sure i know you read the rules One more thing, if you do join, please remember to post. At least once every few days. If you don't *I keep track* and WILL kick you off the thread. [ and like i said, I hate doing that ] Things to Keep in Mind: For each of your houses, its obvious that I'm not going to allow each and every one of you to be in Gryffindor or Slytherin. So, I'll have you take a little test. It is a fairly long test but it is very successfull in proving what house you are truly in. I only ask a couple things. I ask that you answer this 100% truthfully, and that when you give your House to me, you are also being truthful.
However, there are a few exceptions. If your character was mentioned in the 7th Harry Potter book (such as Harry Potter's children) and know for a fact what house your in, you may place them in Gryffindor. AND, if your Biography has an exceeding amount to do with the house you are in, then, depending on the Bio, I will let you choose that house. Though, I ask everyone to not come up with the traditional 'My parents were slytherin and I got into Gryffindor, therefore I am abused' Because that is way over-used and way too original. So, if you please, stay away from that route.
Here is the link to the FABULOUS Sorting hat
Another thing to keep in mind. In the profile skeleton, you will be asked to claim your wand. I would like you to keep these things in mind while choosing it. And I do NOT want the wands to be EXACTLY like the original Harry Potter characters. We are going for uniqueness here.
Wand Core types: • Phoenix Feather – Very Magical. • Dragon Heartstring – Hexes are a specialty of this core. • Unicorn Tail – Best for the pure of heart. • Leprechaun Hair – Somewhat temperamental to Non-Irish. • Demiguise Hair – Only the best for Transfiguration. • Hippogriff Talon – Excellent for Charm Work. • Runespoor Fang – Best for those who deal with Dark Magic. • Hair from the Mane of a Kelpie – Superb for all spells. • Chimaera Scale – Very rare, yet very powerful. • Ashwinder Ash – Casts the best protection charms. And here are several Wand Wood types: • Holly • Ash • Willow • Maple • Walnut • Mahogany • Birch • Yew • Rosewood If you wish to come up with your own core or wood that is fine, but these are just suggestions.

If you would like a Quidditch position, you simply add it when you are sending your application too me. Once we have two full teams, they will verse each other. Eventually, each team will verse eachother once. HOW will they verse eachother might you ask? Well, I'm glad you asked. This is be most unlike a Quidditch Game, but you can't exactly make it realistic typing it out. So, you see there are 'actions' at the top of your post when you reply to something on here. Well, in the actions is an option called 'Roll Dice'
So, When the Chasers roll, the number they get will signify how many goals they made. So, if a chaser rolled a 3, they will get thirty points for scoring three goals. And you add up all the chasers scores.
When the keeper rolls, the number they get will signify how many goals they saved. If the number is 1-3, they will save twice as many as the number was. So, if the keeper rolled a 2, in the game, they will have saved 4 goals. If the number is 4-6, that number just stays the same.
As for the beaters, the number they get -1, will signify how many people they hit down. if the number is a 1 or a 2, they have knocked out a chaser. If the number is a 3, they knocked out the keeper. If the number is a 4 or 5, they have nocked out a beater. In this game, the seeker will NOT be able to be hit.
So, if a beater knocked out a chaser, then the chaser with the LOWEST amount of goals scored will not have their goals counted. BUT, if a beater is hit, then the beater with the HIGHEST amount of hits will not have their hits counted.
As for Seekers, they are the only members not involved with the dice. What they have to do, is be the first seeker to come to the thread and post 'I caught the snitch!' The first seeker to post that, wins the team 150 points.
I know this is complicated but if you think about it, it sounds fun. If you have any questions, PM me and I'll try to help to clarify. Positions: ALL ARE OPEN!!Gryffindor: Captain: Keeper: Chaser(3): Beater(2): Seeker: Hufflepuff:

House Points: How do we earn points?
-The house will recieve 10 points for each person that joins the thread. -the House will recieve 30 points if they win a quidditch game. -If a person who sends me their profile has it accepted right away, with me not asking for correction, the house they were in will recieve 10 points. -I will not remind a person to write out the word 'ninja smiley face' if they forgot, BUT if they DID write that, that is an automatic 10 points for the house they were in. -For every person that enrolls in a Quidditch position, I will add 15 points to that house. -If you remember in your profile to TELL ME (100 % truthfully) that you actually TOOK the super long sorting hat quiz, then I will add 30 points to your house. -If someone manages to make it onto the White list, 25 points will be added to their house -Every so often, I will make random announcements of a certain date. On this date, I will calculate up all the points, and sees who has the most. Whoever wins, will recieve from 50-100 POINTS! *depending on what mood i'm in*
How do we get points taken away?
-If I do have to ask for correction on a persons profile, I will take away 10 points from that house. -For every person who IS NOT enrolled in a Quidditch position UNTIL THE POSITIONS ARE FILLED, I will subract 15 points from each house. -If the person does NOT write out the word 'ninja smiley face' then I will subract 20 points. SO DO IT! -If someone accidentaly puts a ninja smiley instead of writing the word 'ninja smiley face' - I will subract 35 points! -If you forget to color your profile the assigned color for you house when you send it to me, I will subract 15 points from your house. -If someone is put onto the black list, I will subtract 40 points from their house. -If someone does something that I consider cybering (removing clothing, sex, stuff like that.) I will subract 50 POINTS! from that house! So DON'T DO IT! -If you do not make your posts look 'unique' for too long, I will subtract 10 points every post you make until you stop. -Every so often, I will make random announcements of a certain date. On this date, I will calculate up all the points, and sees who has the most. Whoever does not win, will have 30 points subtracted from their house.~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

Lists Black: If you are put here, that means you have broken countless rule's, even after being warned. To be blacklisted, you must break at least 3 rules. And if you ARE black-listed, you will be banned from the RP plus your house will lose 40 points, which you will probably recieve hate mail for. If you refuse to leave and keep posting in the thread, I will report you. So far, no one is here yet...good. White: This is for the good people who always follow rule's and constintently show traits that exceed my expectations. so, if you are a good person and show very good RP skills, I will add you to my white-list. Approxamitely, I will add someone to my white list every 1-2 weeks. So be your best. But, you CANNOT be added twice, my little overachievers. smile So far, I haven't found anyone yet, but I will.

Slytherins Name: Adrina Garnet Pucey People like to call me: Addie or Adrina Blood Type: Half-blood (hey, Voldemort got in, why shouldn't I?) Year: 6th House: Slytherin Wand: Dragon Heartstring, Mahagony Pet: Owl named Jackle Son/Daughter of:Adrian Pucey (Pure) and Tina Pucey (Muggle) Most Used Spell: The Bat Bogey Hex Class you most look forward to: Defense against the Dark Arts Quidditch position? Team Captain? Chaser Appearance: Personality traits: Mean, rude, says things half-heartedly. She is also very quiet and rarely speaks. History: For so long, her parents had kept Adrina from knowing the fact that she most likely would become a witch. They hid it from her. Why? Adrina would never know. But, when she recieved that wonderful letter to go to Hogwarts, she jumped off her chair. That was when her father, Adrian, explained to her that he had also gone to Hogwarts. He also didn't fail to mention that he went to school with the famous Harry Potter who defeated the Dark Lord. That information didn't impress her as much as the fact that he got accepted too. Later on, she found out that her mother, Tina, was not a witch and was quite surprised at this. Adrina's first reaction towards her father, after her mother was clear out of site was 'Why did you marry a non-magic person?" Offended, Adrian pronounced that it was because he loved her and no blood-type would have to do with that. This still confused Adrina as the conversation pressed further, indicating that Adrina would most likely become in Slytherin. She just didn't get why a pure-blood, such as her father, would marry a muggle, like her mother. Since then, Adrina and her father rarely spoke. Sure, they had conversation and never forgot to tell eachother how much they loved eathother, but they never talked about that subject again. And that converstaion alone, instantly lowered Adrian's opinion of his daughter.

The Quibbler Quote: "The Aurors are part of the Rotfang Conspiracy, I thought everyone knew that. They're working from within to bring down the Ministry of Magic using a combination of Dark magic and gum disease." The Hot Topic: Dumbledore is GAY!?!? Just when you'd thought you'd seen it all: J.K.R then reveals the disturbing information that Dumbledore is indeed: gay. Rowling said Tuesday she found it "freeing" to out Dumbledore, adding that the passages about him will mean different things to different readers.
"I think a child will see a friendship and I think a sensitive adult may well understand that it was an infatuation," she said. Read more hereThread News:
