A little confused at the blush, Chau leaned in and touched her nose to his softly. She didn't want him thinking that she felt sorry for herself that she couldn't hear and she was more than happy the way she was.
She had Hang after all, and she could read lips. As long as Chau was facing the one talking then she was more than capable of seeing what they were saying.
"I'm glad you are. I'd be lost still if I didn't have you as a friend." Chau replied.
The closeness was making her start to blush as well, lost for words to say to him. All Chau felt that she wanted to do was curl up next to him and cuddle.

Kigao's tail twiched a little and wagged back and fourth it was not that he was not feeling good it was all these feelings that made him feel wierd and he didn't know what to do..
" Ah well i hope you are not afraid of me or anything...since i know males can scare you "
Then he gently started to purrr Chau would not be able to hear that but she could see that he was feeling pretty good at the moment and he liked sitting there right next to Chau. Maybe asking that question he wanted to ask would be good soon...he had wanted to ask her something for a while but he hadn't got a good chance and he had been feeling to shy as well..

Chau smiled and her tail moved with his, swishing back and forth across the sand. He was trying to say something.
Even from the close proximity she could feel the purr despite being unable to hear it. Sure that it meant that Kigao was happy, Chau relaxed a bit and leaned her shoulder over against him shyly.
"You don't scare me Kigao... you aren't like the males I've known in the past. I like you." Her muzzle curved in a soft smile.
Suddenly her eyes focused on him carefully, watching him closely to see what he had to say next. He seemed to have a tenseness about him that spoke of a hard question.

Kigao cleared his troat a little and didn't say anything for a while since he wanted to think so it would come out well tough Chau picked the words out of his mouth witch made him just blink and stare at her a little..
" Ahh well what i wanted to say was that i like you too...but more like do you want to be my mate? "
He said the last thing really silent but that didn't matter for Chau since she would read his lips anyway but Kigao could atleast "say" it even if he wisperd the last part he knew Chau would know what he said..
But he had no idea if Chau felt like that over him...since males did scare her so why would she want a male as a mate then.

Her heart hammered.
He'd just asked her..... if she wanted to be... to be... well HIS. If she wanted to be his mate and live with him as an equal, to live with him and love him.
The part of her that hated males screamed it's anger and it's refusal, but it was so quiet that Chau barely heard it at all. Rather she heard the deep warm feeling that flooded through her like that.
"You want me to stay with you? To be your mate even though I'm not as pretty as others...?" Chau breathed in question. "Y... yes. If you want me that is... I would love to be your mate."
For a sharp moment Chau felt her eyes well over with tears of joy and happiness, but none of them fell.

Kigao was silent and licked his lips a little as he waited for an answer from Chau...he looked at her intensly with his green eyes and hoped that she would say something positive back and his heart almost stopped as he waited and tought the seconds felt like minutes.
" Yes i want you to stay with me! if you want to since i don't know if i am good enough for you...and not pretty enough? i have never met anyone that is as pretty as you "
What kind of strange words was that...not pretty enough? it was him that wasn't pretty enough for her.

The green of Chau's eyes sparkled, she was so happy at the moment that she wasn't sure what to even do with herself. How could she know that he was going to ask that?
"I want to stay with you Kigao. I've wanted to stay with you ever since you asked me to come." Chau's blush seemed to overtake her translucent white fur. "I want to be your mate and I want to know your life."
She shivered. Of course she loved him, the part of her that had always known screamed it. She refused to leave him unless he forced her. The deep feeling of happiness seemed to seep through all her bones.
After all her life's wandering, even if she wasn't to be a part of the pride, if she was thrown out like the Pridelands... she would still be his mate, she would still have a home with HIM.

Kigao was really happy as well the girl he was in love with wanted to be with him as well and they would always have a home together <3 no matter what happend. He licked Chau's neck a little and purrred a little more just to show how happy he was. This day couldn't be any better at all..
" Great <3 well no matter what i will always protect you and you will always have a home with me don't you ever forget that "
He said with a big smile on his lips and then he currled up next to hear and put his tail over her back just so he could sit closer to her..
And Kigao couldn't have been happier finally he had someone he could share his life with.
