"Ah, so it did?" He regretted not being more supportive, but he hardly knew this sentinel at all and trying to help might end up doing more harm, he had no way of knowing how she would react.
Relieved that she moved easily to the new topic, he continued. "Any idea what it is? It must be something out of the ordinary, what with all the ruckus. Your average abandoned chick, a shame to say, rarely gets this much notoriety in our society."
Moth's large ears perked and she leaned nearer to the parus to the point that it looked like she might fall from her perch on Odd's head. "Learning well, yes."

Nodding Sienna knew first hand what an orphaned Sentinels life was like, but she also understood that it was the way things had to be. “ One of the Minders that has a tree near by it Minder said that Citrine Called it a Spectre, however for now she doesn’t seem to want to speak much else of it or let anyone see him. ”

"A spectre, eh? Well, I do hope for the best for the little bugger. Until Citrine wishes to share it with the forest, we shall wait. Hopefully he will find a strong network of friends... Though part of me doubts he will do well with the elders." He dipped his head to place a feather just above his talons, causing Moth to tumble.
She fell and caught herself on her wings, fluttering high above the other three. "Mm, race?" She asked the parus.
