Every couple of weeks we have a new member. For the past few months, none of them have taken the time to write up a greeting into our Hailsa thread.
There's little activity despite having 39 members, most of which are active on other locations. Random peeks at profiles show that most are active on the site at least.
So what can be done to get the activity level up?
Are simple games maybe a way to go?
Thoughts?
Ideas?
Either way I'm conisidering starting a game of some sort or another, just to get the ball rolling.

I think a game or some sort of intellectual persuit would be a good thing for the forum. There really is not much for people to talk about, but there should be. There needs to be something for the Asatru here to feel compelled to talk about. I'm all for a game or something along the lines of entertainment here.

People, please. Take the poll in an orderly fashion. We do not want the Gaian servers to overload because all of you had to take the poll all at once.

Last several weeks have been hectic with school finals and such.

I think what this guild is missing is like i dont know substance. There are never any real discusions. They start off good but fall flat.

i'm really off-and-on-again with gaia, what i think is really the issue, at least for me, is that the interaction is spastic and not all that positive.

Hmm. Games might be a good idea. I agree about the lack of "substance" that was mentioned. But at the same time I'm entirely unsure how to go about fixing THAT either... Hmm...

I like the idea of having links in topics, links to information that we don't just share but talk about and have a *gasp* discussion about.
as for games- i like the idea, but what would we play?

A simple word game or something.
There are post actions as well...
100 die are fun...
I'll organize a few potential games... write up game desc's... and post them for a vote.

I think it'd do some good if you posted more of what you post in the thread here. XD But then again, I never do keep up with the thread because there's just so little organization to it, you know?

 This is the 3rd thread I've come across thus far that talks about participation being down. sad
I'm new here, haven't seen anyone respond to anything I've posted yet. The "Lokeans and Asatru" thread in the ED seemed to be more active. I'll just keep reading the old threads while I do other things. I'm sure someone will chime in sooner or later.
Maybe a contest of some kind would boost activity? Something fun that everyone can participate in with some kind of possible reward for the winner(s), maybe? Send out a message to all of the members to let them know it's going on.
