"ah, well I'll be able ta tell... though if the airs still freezin' ... "... they were going to be there a while."so uh... how many winters ya have ta be round for? been as bad as this?"it was a little awkward now, mostly because he felt bad for invading Starscream's space like this. he acted as casual and smooth as ever though, not wanting to add to it. setting aside the question he had just asked, figuring that was just a start for an awkward conversation, and Starscream was not dumb enough to fall for that. "... uh, thanks by the way."

"This is my first here..." Starscream grumbled in answer. He stayed quiet after that for a moment until Jazz spoke again. Then he frowned and finally shifted so he could look at him. "For what?"

Blinking at first, shifting to meet Starscream's look with a mildly confused look of his own. Nodding his head back over to the lake to draw the focus over to it, in hopes of remind Starscream of the event that had just taken place there."ya tugged me outta there. 'Mean granted I gatta get this armor fixed out," he said, though with a teasing tone "but its better then bein' stuck in that water. so thanks."

Starscream grumbled quietly to himself and moved his gaze away again. "...consider us even," was all he said. He thought he owed Jazz for helping to fix his wing and shoulder - that debt was just repaid.

Jazz answered that at first with an amused chuckle, his shoulder bunching a little before he settled back down into the water."sure man, Sounds cool ta me" stretching his claws out, lowering his head onto one of his arms."till next time though" he added, with a playful smirk.

Starscream fell quiet as he shifted one more time and settled in the water. By Primus, it felt so good - even better since he could stretch out and really make himself comfortable. The fact that Jazz was curled around him was still unnerving, but he endured for now. This was the one luxury he had, so he could not afford to let a little innocent touching ruin it for him.

And so continued the awkward silence, it was to be expected of cource, Jazz didn't think he would ever be able to get more then a couple word sentences out of the seeker. letting it go, Jazz sat in the silence... for as long as he could bear, before he dared to turn up his music... just barely enough for him to be able to hear it, trying not to bother Starscream. yet another benefit of having advanced audio sensors. watching the forest, as it slowly started to snow. as uncomfortable as winter could be, he could not help but enjoy it.

Starscream's optics started to dim from the relaxing heat, and he sagged slowly against the rocks. His vision went slightly fuzzy as he floated between online and offline states. With his vision unfocused, the snowfall against their surroundings looked instead like the cosmic dust of a passing comet over the landscape of Cybertron, and he was able to finally relax and allow tension to melt away. Primus, it felt so good to relax. It was a feeling he had not been familiar with in centuries, and, aided by the feeling of being protected with the weight of the other mech against him, he soon fell offline into a peaceful rest.
