[Glyph]- Farewell Flute:
This flute was given to Van from his mother when he left Valhalla to train and study for the academy. After learning the name of his alteranima, the flute came to symbolize the two most important people in his life.

[Sync]
- Niveus Fang(weak): Van's hair grows three times as long where at the end, it suddenly ties itself into a living snake that wraps around his neck. In this sync, Van's speed is doubled but his strength is unaffected. The flute transforms into a whip during battle.

- Lunar NigerWolf(moderate): Taking the form of a black wolf, Van's power and strength are increased but his sense of smelling and hearing rises dramatically. Though he lacks speed, the flute transforms into a double-sided halberd in order to extend his reach. Because this is a surprisingly powerful sync, it usually only appears after dusk.

[Exalted Forms]
-Atrum Pennae(moderate): Wings sprout from the back of his shouldes while his hair turns jetblack. Van is faster than his Nievus fang sync, though his strength is nowhere near NigerWolf's, with the flute in sword form, Van can still administer deadly blows fast as the wind.

[Physical Description]
-Van is 6'0 with a moderate build. His azure eyes are hidden by the white bangs that grow black towards the back of his head, where it is shorter, but still long enough to cover up his elf ears.

[Personality]
- Van is usually quiet and prefers to keep his thoughts to himself, but he feels strangely obliged to answer questions or chip in a conversation. Though he is usually lazy and unsociable, whenever Aura manifests, Van becomes diligent in his work and becomes oddly cheerful...perhaps he feels lonely without someone he treats as family?

[History]
- Elves are known for their knowledge right? Well, in the part of the forest where Van lived, there was one family who always took their pride too far. This family were always talking how they should conquer the upper world and make it their own, their son obviously agreed with them. At the school for young elves, Van happened to have made enemies with that one family's kid, since he was taught by his mother and father that "Knowledge is for the wellbeing of our people as well as others." Van's father was of course, the one who opposed the other family's desire of conquest and since he was on the council of elves, he stood a great obstacle in the family's way of persuading the elder to start war.

One night deep inside the forests of Valhalla, Van cried his thirst for vengeance after witnessing the murder of his father by that family and their supporters. A dozen years went by, but the murder was never solved. Since the murderers summoned a herd of beasts to kill Van's father, after the spell was over, the beasts disappeared and so the accusation against the other family was found void. Van could no longer hold back as he flung his fists at the brat from the other family. Van was then punished and shunned by all his friends and another day came when he was expelled for beating up the brat and his whole gang of friends!

From then on, only Van's mother remained, teaching her dear son everything left by Van's father, including magic. Determined to make up for his mistakes and make his mother happy once more, Van began training hard to get accepted into Asgard Academy. He finally made it with the help of Aura, his alteranima, and left home with the farewell flute and a melody as a final lesson from his mother.
