Am I insane for thinking this...

I have no idea about you, but I think of Tegan and Sara as independent. And now, some mod, and some other people are trying to tell me they are not indie, and that in order to be an indie band they must be on an independent music label. I call viper pretty independent, and Tegan and Sara even list themselfs as independent. Am I insane, am I the only one who thinks their an indie band?

so thaaaats what indie means... sweatdrop ...i am so slow with acronyms and the simplifying of words n stuff. now that i understand what that means...they are definetly independant! as opposed to avril lavigne or ppl like that who dont write their own music.

they used to be signed on to an independant label but after releasing the Con they got promoted to a major label so they're not indie anymore I guess. confused I think their music sounds "indie"
