Poppy hadn't eaten for a few days now, and it was about time she found herself a meal to chow down on. So what will it be today? Rabbit? Heh, maybe a squirrel or two. Well, she was hoping to find something bigger than her usual meals, and was determined to do so. The wolf had somewhat of a disadvantage, being on her own at the current moment, but she was tough. Ears perked up, she spotted a lone doe -- a deer -- grazing by herself in the middle of the forest. Ah, that'll do.
Her nose gave a twitch, as it felt that the air was heavy with the deer's scent... when it really wasn't. Poppy was just fixated on getting that deer on her dinner plate. Pale lavender eyes locked onto her prey, she crept closer... closer, almost unnoticed. The doe detected her presence, anyway, and began to bound away, with Poppy at her tail. 
Eventually, Poppy closed in on her prey and pounced on the deer, grasping at her neck, tackling her to the ground. It didn't take long for the wolf to kill her prey. However, she took a moment to catch her breath, a bit low on energy due to the lack of food, but began to tear at the meat hungrily...
Only to be interrupted by a scavenging grizzly. Good grief!
'Course, Poppy had caught the bear's scent before it arrived at the scene, but she was hungry enough to continue to gnaw on the meat. The grizzly gave a gruff growl, and Poppy returned the growl by bearing her teeth, growling herself... As scary as Poppy looked, she didn't intimidate the bear one bit.
"Go get your own food, you damn bear!" Poppy snarled, but had to get out of the way as the bear charged, drawn in by the carcass... Wonderful, there goes her meal.

She'd been wandering, meeting wolves every now and then: Eiros, the male who didn't seem to like anyone's company at all, and Wyatt, the happy-go-lucky fellow omega.
With her bright coloring, she kept herself low to the ground, staying in the brush (as neon green and hot pink were nearly impossible to miss) unless she absolutely had to cross a field or river or something unguarded.
She was running from everyone. This she knew. She could run from pain and anger and sadness and memories...but she could never run from hunger. This she learned the hard way.
The metallic scent of blood twitched at her nose and her stomach snarled in protest. She -had- to eat... With her tail tucked and her ears flat, she scurried across the ground, noting a black and white she-wolf with fresh kill. She skitted closer and let out a whine when she gazed up at Poppy.
The other wolf turned to her and let out a growl. It echoed all around and Bipolar shivered as her hackles rose. Then the bone femme snarled.
Sadly, Bipo couldn't smell the bear that was behind her or else she would've realized that it wasn't herself Poppy was calling a bear...but to a real bear.

Fiereza was strolling along, surprisingly she had needed to get out a bit despite the sun shining high in the sky. Normally she was a creature of the night, but since her nights lately were lonely she ventured out. Her ears perked and her eyes widened as she spotted a bear charging two wolves a few feet away.
For a moment she was caught up in the contrasting colors of their pelts before she realized what kind of danger they were in. Fie remembered her one and only tango with a bear, it hadn't been pretty and she had only won thanks to the elements and some quick thinking. Her bear pelt was one of her finest works, preserved and fluffy. She ripped her thoughts away from skinning and rushed towards the bear to leap on it, she didn't feel any emotions, but she hoped she would feel something at the end of this ordeal.
With a snarl she flung herself on the creatures back, not her smartest move, but one borne of boredom.

Honestly, Poppy didn't even sense the bright-coloured wolf that came padding along, as the she-wolf happened to arrive at the same time as the bear did. She had nearly bumped into her when she had to get out of the bear's way, and Poppy looked rather dumbfounded when another she-wolf came to the scene.
Before the large grizzly could even reach the dead deer, he was caught off guard by Fiereza. He grunted and now resembled one of those bulls at a rodeo, trying to fling the attacker off his back.
That was when Poppy shook herself out of her surprised state, charging into action. It has also been a while since she last saw someone of her kind, but she has never been in a situation as this. She broke into a run and leaped up onto the bear's side, clamping her jaws into his thick hide.. It was quite dizzying, considering how much the bear moved and jerk, and there was that danger of getting in his claws' and jaws' way.
Her gaze glanced briefly at Bipolar, but there wasn't any time to wonder whether she'd help or not.

As Poppy's shoulder brushed hers, Bipolar jerked away, having to force her entire soul not to bite at the contact. It was the energy, swirling in the air around them, creating an almost spiteful aura as the beast charged.
Her head jerked up at the sound of the pained roar from the incoming bear...and there was a WOLF on his back!
For several seconds, she didn't move; her muscles tensed and she was immobile. Then Poppy lunged for the shaggy creature as well, dodging both claw and fang, and Bipolar realized something crucial.
She had no life. No past. No family to return to.
She could only go forwards...and what did it matter, if she died?
And although every atom in her body screamed 'flee!' she bolted forwards as well, snapping teeth at the bear's soft underarm, noting the femme on his back with a nod.

If Fiereza had known there was precious life stirring inside her she might not have been so irrational, but her last thoughts had been unhappy and jealous. Now she felt a slight thrill, it wasn't good, Adolfo had taught her better. She couldn't take such pleasure in killing, in the thought of a new pelt. Still this was a bear not a wolf so perhaps she could indulge herself. She sank her fangs all the way in and let out a snorting laugh as she dropped from the bears back with a chunk of it's flesh in her mouth. There she would tear down to create a large carpet for Adolfo's den.
Her eyes flicked to Poppy and Bipolar and she smirked, maybe they could manage this after all. Fiereza calculated her jump again and flung her slim body at the bears face. Now her teeth were latched to an ear and her paws scrambled for purchase in the eyes, if she could take out the eyes their job might be easier.
She wanted to tell the others not to leg so lest they suffer a swipe or bite but she was determined to keep her jaw clamped on the beast. She hoped one of them would think to go behind the creature and aggitate it into doing something stupid.
