Welcome to the Guild of Marines!!!
Hopefully you are following the first set of instructions and reading here first.
First things first.
All new members are to report to MCRD Gaia for Basic Training.
(Unless you do not wish to participate in RP.)
To take full advantages of this guild, you need to particpate with us via RP. To do this you report in over to the sub-forum "Marine Corp Recruit Depot (MCRD Gaia)" Once reported in you are not allowed to post anywhere else but where the topics and personel in that forum direct you to until such time as you have completed the perscribed course of training in there as deemed fit by your instructors.
If you signed up to search these forums and sub-forums for information pertaining to the USMC or just want to speak with people who are in, you are not authorized to post anywhere other than the "Recreation Room" sub-forum. That is where any and all non RP related conversations take place. You can ask for help, advice, information, or just chat, just remember that this guild is primarily an RP guild and you may not get a quick response unless you RP.
Next,
We require that once you are accepted to our guild that you always display your affiliation with us, as well as any rank and billet you hold, in your signature. We have a Topic labeled "Banners & Signature Files". Stop in there and look around for an image that suits you or if you are creative, feel free to create your own.
Additionally,
For those who participate with us in RP, we have a new order that requires that you have the prescribed standard combat uniform worn during active RP which includes;
Anti-Terror Steel Toe Boots - 2100
Fitted Olive Tshirt - 700
Black GPD Protective Vest - 3300
Anti-Terror Forest camo pants - 3200
Which may be obtained from
Barton Boutique
and
H.R. Wesley (Edmund)
If you do not have enough to obtain these items, contact your Chain of Command and they will help you obtain these. Keep in mind that if someone helps you obtain these items, then whatever conditions they set between you and them must be followed or it will result in disciplinary action under the UCMJ.
You may also opt to add in additional items to distinctify your avatar from someone else (e.g. cigar, tattoos, guns, knives, etc). This is purely personal preference, just remember to keep the required gear visible at all times and all items in good military taste.
