I really like/appreciate the movie 'Finding Neverland'. I think it was a wonderful tribute to a wonderful man, although the movie was very inaccurate. (As most movies based off of actual historical figures tend to be. ^^; ) I still liked it, though. I thought Johnny Depp, although not looking the part, played him very well.
What did everyone else think about this movie, or Johnny Depp's performance as James Mattew Barrie?

I thought it was rather sweet, and I just think Mr Depp is damn fine. I dont really mind what he is doing...
(except in 'Blow' when they make him old and grotty.)

I really liked it, and made sure it was one of the movies I grabbed when I packed my stuff from home. Though, I had to listen to my dad siiiiiiiiiigh and whiiiiiiiiine through the whole thing.
It's actually been a while since I've watched it... I think I may go do that now. *blink* stare
and time is never planned.

This movie made me cry. crying In a good way, of course. <3
I thought Johnny made a perfect J M Barrie.

Yes and no. He like his early stuff... Like... Benny and Joon, but it's mostly... he's a whiner. The movie was too *squishy* for him. Though, this is the man that watched Phantom of the Opera... and complained because he didn't know it was a musical. sweatdrop stare

Johnny Depp's Scottish accent was fairly decent as well (unlike Mel Gibson in Braveheart....)
& as a Scot I know what I'm talking bout

Callipygia I loved it. I didn't cry but I almost did, tres sad ending. Even cooler that you say that Johnny's accent is pretty good, cause you would know better than any of us! xD

What always kills me is that he arrived on set with that flawless scottish accent, and the director had to tell the voice coach to go home. lol xD
