The wolf stared. And stared. For a moment, he seemed frozen, paralyzed, dead. After what seemed like ages, one of his brows quirked in a questioning manner.
He opened his mouth to speak, but could think of nothing to ask. Finally he uttered a "Hi?" and continued to study the shockingly colored feline.

The cat chuckled nervously as the wolf stared him down, the hand behind his head falling down to his side. With the grace that only a cat could possess, the feline practically ran to the wolf after he had said his questioning 'hi'. A large paw shoot out and took hold of the wolf's own, pumping it up and down in a friendly shake. A grin on his face once more the cat began the introductions.
"My name's Claus! Sorry about dropping down on you like that, but I was patching a hole in the roof of my house and the fastest way down was to er... just fall." He explained sounding all excited.
His tail swishing all the while, Claus finally let go of the wolf's hand only to point up at the large tree house above. Indeed, there had been a large hole that had now only been covered with large green leaves and various twigs. The cat himself even wore one twig behind his left ear which had, of course, gone unnoticed by Claus.
"Maybe you would like to come up? It's been a long time since anyone's visited." He said, eyes large as saucers.

With an expression that of one who was somewhat disturbed, Okami let his paw hang limply in the grasp of the cat's.
"Really? Well, that's...err..." He paused. "Intresting. Yes."
Averting his gaze to the heavens, Okami gaped up at the treehouse. Turning to Claus, he eyed the twig behind his ear and ignored the urge to pluck it free.
"...Sure, I guess." It couldn't hurt. And besides, if Claus' eyes remained like that for much longer, he may damage them badly.

Rolling his eyes in a joking manner, the lupine grabbed the rope and begun to climb, slowly but steadily. After some time he arrived at the top and crawled over the railing to sit beside Claus, his long pink tongue lolling lazily out of the side of his mouth.
