Stupid people
PostPosted: Sun Jul 27, 2008 3:46 pm

ANYWAY, I just wanted to rant about how much I hate how people's minds can be warped so easily. Especially young children. They are told one thing is bad and then they believe it. I think that instead of fighting about things you don't quite have all the details about, you should stick to concentrating on the life around you. OH AND ANOTHER THING, teenagers need to stop being the center of stupid, stop doing drugs and sleeping with others at such a young age. Stop drinking and making stupid choices, It IS your choice so stop doing what everyone else is doing and do what's best for YOU! ....ok, I think I feel better now...a little... whee

Lyla,
With teenagers I think so may of them feel they have to get involved in that "activity" in order to be accepted by "friends"
There is a friend of mine, to me he was perfect and I loved him just the way he was. But a bunch of guys would pick on him and call him Dork, wimp, dweeb, etc... These guys did party, drink and get into drugs I don't want to know about. They got to my friend and he started drinking with them , smoking the pot, etc.. he even started steroids and weight lifting like a maniac so he wasn't so "wimpy" anymore. Yes, he was then accepted by these guys once he was like them. I found myself being pushed away by him and I did back off. Now, to this day I feel guilty for that. I feel I should have stepped in and played the "parental" loving friend and intervened. But I didn't, years went by and now he is addicted. I do keep him touch with him, everytime I call him though I am practially in tears. In fact, I did call him in tears once because I told him exactly how I felt. Damn, i feel like crying for him now. He is going on 27 years old, he cannot keep a relationship or a job. He can't go a day without drinking or smoking pot, and I am postitive he is doing more than that. He visits me and calls me sometimes when he is drunk or high, he tries to deny it, but I know he is.. he never remembers our conversations. I love him dearly, he was my best bud way back when. He still is but he isn't the same guy. All because he wanted those guys to stop picking on him and be accepted into their group. I truly hate those ********! sorry Link and Lyla for the language it is how I truly feel about those dickwads.

Intervention doesn't always work. Though you try to keep him on the path of right, it's ultimately his decision to make. If he wants to use and abuse his own body, then he's going to. You can't be there for him all the time and it's very difficult to make someone see your side of things when they have clouded vision about themselves. Do I know this individual, I feel like you have mentioned him to me once before...

Exactly, and who says what happens in highschool ends when you graduate!!! It doesn't, everyone still feels and acts the way they did. You don't stop hurting because of idiots, but you know what I can say, I can say that I am happy that I am not like any of those stupid idiots. Besides my allergies, I am working to keep myself happy and healthy, and to spend time with my future love and family.
I wish there was someone we could help you. Or some way that anybody can help their friends and family. Talking to them won't help, maybe a kick in the a**. Can't we just please beat them?! They probably wouldn't even feel it anyways. AND the worst part of all of this is how they make OTHERS feel. STOP BEING SO SELFISH YOU TWADS! ....Maybe I should homeschool my kids...teach them to hate society at a young age. lmao.

Link, the friend is Dan. Former employee from way back in the day, back when we were on Union road. The group of A-holes that wouldn't let Dan be were a bunch of dog supplies guys , stockers. They were all still in high school, and I was just fresh out of high school. Dan and I used to go clubbing, watched movies at each others houses and played the video games. We were kind of like dating but we weren't ever in a relationship just a very close friendship without the boyfriend girlfriend baggage. I always said he was a my little brother, that's how I felt about him, I still do, I still love him that way. *sighs*

I thought it was him you were referring to. Yeah, he just let peer pressure get to him. Why would someone from out of high school let a bunch of children dictate his actions?
