I just wanted to throw a shout-out to the Chronicle beat-writer for the Dynamo, Bernardo Fallas. The guy has an uncanny understanding of the game and is still a fan at the same time. He is well-versed on much of the international side of futbol as well as the national side, and he does his best to keep things in front of the fan as opposed to away from them.

His articles and his blog always excite me because his enthusiasm and passion for the game are next to none. To top it all off, he JUST received his citizenship to the U.S. and has been sworn in as a U.S. citizen.

The guy deserves everything he's received and I hope he continues with the chronicle and dynamo for years to come. Interested to read his stuff?
