"I assure you, no one can have enough amusement in their lifetimes," Asriel retorded almost instantly and as though to prove his words let out a huff in amusement towards her sarcastic remarks. Then, his light features turned into a frown towards her question. Her amusement was not returned. "I merely guard myself carefully."

Lefora gave him a skeptical look. She began trotting towards him again. "Uh huh, 'guard myself carefully'. From what? The small, little, blind female who can't even walk two steps withou-" As if to finish her sentance for her, a conveniently-placed ledge in the ground caused her to falter in her steps and trip over again, this time, she managed to land with her forelegs still propping her up on the ground, but her backlegs on the ground. She looked like a newborn foal trying to stand up for the first time. She sighed. "See what I mean?" She straightened herself out, getting back up on all fours. "I don't see what you have to be afraid of, but then again I can't see at all." She turned her head away from him. What I'd give to be able to see again . . . She thought to herself, deciding not to say it out loud.
