History:

A white Goddess set under a tree she was beautiful the sun glinted off of her fur but she had the darkest of wings and the look of death about her. "Come let me spin you the tale of my history. You look like you could use a good story." She gave a soft smile as her musical voice filled the air.

"Long ago in a time that was much happier for me..."

A young girl played in a field with her brothers. "Arranarie come to me a moment won't you dear." her mothers voice floated to her ears. Arranarie looked up and nodded bounding over to her mother she smiled. "What is it mother?" Arran asked her mother. "I need you to run this back to your father." her mother smiled down are her. Arran nodded it was not far to their home it was just on the other side of the glade, nestled in the trees. Karean handed her a bunch of wild flowers. Arran was confused but did as she was told taking the flowers and starting back across the glade. She hummed a song to herself as she did. Her father helped the surrounding animals he made medicines for them. That must be what the flowers were for she was sure of it. She drifted silently into the trees not making a sound as she walked. She was still young but already she possessed the grace of her mother. She came upon her home and found her father in the back. "Father, mother said to bring you these flowers." she sat a little ways behind her father. Zarrin turned to his daughter and nodded. "Thank you, Arranarie these will make many potions to help the sick." he took the flowers from her and nuzzled the top of her head. It had taken her father many years to learn the plants and hearbs as well as he did. Out of the forest stepped a beautiful Angel. She however did not look so good. Her eyes were dull and her wings drooped close to her body. All over her body there was random wounds that just kept bleeding. "Please help me." her voice was barely above a whisper. Arran stood transfixed as her father ran to the others side. "Arran go get your mother now." he did not even turn to look at her.

That was her first encounter with the plague, that would soon rip her world apart.

It took her youngest brother, Rurin first. She watched her brothers body slowly waste away and the light fade from his eyes. It hit her mother wost of all, she stopped eating after her son died. Her mother's beautiful fur started to dull and fade with her lack of eating. She was never really sure what took her mother first the sorrow or the plague. Her father being unable to bare her mothers death left taking his son and daughter with him. They traveled all over the place helping plague victims when they could. Her father could not find a cure. He devoted the rest of his life to finding one. Sadly his life was not to continue on much longer. He soon took ill on the road and his life ended 2 weeks later. By now Arran had become numb to death and the pain it brought. It was now only her and her eldest brother Mesu. They continued on their journey together to find a cure. After a year on the road they heard two different rumors of healing. They decided to split up and see what they could find out. Vowing to meet back at their birth place a year from now. On her way Arran found many in need of her aid and she helped all that she could making their passing as easy as she could. She stopped in a haven 3 months after her and Mesu split up. The haven seemed to be a deserted. She looked around the smell of death was everywhere. She walked through the area and came to a male demon. He stood in front of a huge whole he was very bad off. She went to him but he stopped her before she could get close. "Please don't come any closer." he begged her. She nodded pain in her eyes she wanted to help him. "Come here and let me help you. Please you need to be looked at." he sighed and shakily walked over to her. "There is nothing you can do for me when it comes it takes all life." she sighed and pulled out some of her herbs spreading it on his wounds. "This will ease the pain." she whispered. He nodded and laid down. "Please when I pass bury me with the rest of them." he flicked his tail toward the hole. Arran nodded and laid her beautiful black wing across his body. "You are very beautiful. Unlike any I have ever seen." he gave her a weak smile. "Thank you." she whispered pain in her voice. The long hours passed and as the sun rose his life ended. Arran kept her word and buried him in the mass grave. It was filled will all kinds of foxy. Even the rare and beautiful Angies had not managed to escape the plague. After the last stone was placed on the grave site she threw herself down and cried. She cursed the gods asking how they could let this happen.

She cried for 3 days straight till only blood slid down her cheeks.

She watched the plague take her body at first. It hurt badly but she did what she had done for everyone else and took the herbs. Slowly her mind began to fade and she lived every day as if she was in a dream. She remembered nothing and had fevered dreams of death when she slept. She was not sure how long she was like that. Weeks, months, maybe even years she was unsure time had passed in a daze. When she finally came out of the daze she was in a place she did not know. She checked herself over and besides having a wound on her neck and left front paw she seemed to have no more wounds. Her wings seemed to suffer the most, they used to be lovely and full and now they were tattered and torn her horn which was a lovely sliver color to start with was now as black as death itself. Slowly but surly she gained her health back. However the wounds on her neck and paw never healed. She kept them covered and went back on her journey to find a cure. However it seemed that where ever she went the plague had vanished. None were entirely sure as to what happened to it. Some say it was the Goddess healing ability that fixed it all others are not so sure. Arran having lost most of her family in the time of crisis and having nothing to do anymore settled down to take up her fathers work.

"Thus that brings us around to the present." Arranarie gave a smile. Her eyes glinted with an inner fire. "You are still wondering about something yes?" she gave a small laugh. "What happened to my brother no doubt. I still have not heard from him to this day. I return to our place of birth every year and he is never there." she seemed to be looking far off now. "Yes, that is my story. Tragic is it not?" she shook her head as if clearing it from a fog. "Never mind that what are you here for?" she stood up and walked into her den leaving an air of mystery behind her.
