It was so amazing. They said that it had 15k performers, none which repeated, and 30k fireworks. It also had the biggest LCD television in the world- it unfurled to be longer than- what was it? 700 feet? yards? I don't know, but several people were walking on it and they looked like little dots.

I saw the ending of it.
And from what I know, the little girl who sang, didn't really sing. It was her twin sister that sang but China didn't put her out there because she didn't look as good as the other.
And I also heard that most of the fireworks were computer generated.

I heard that some of the ceremony was staged, but I keep forgetting to youtube to see the ceremony.

I'm really not surprised they pulled some crap like that XD I mean, all the host countries eventually get caught doing something thats "wrong"

True. I liked the Athens games where they set a set of olive leaves on the winners' heads. But in Beijing they only get roses. confused
