"If you had any idea what I have been through and how I came to be as I am now, standing in front of you instead of dead in some park I am sure you would either turn on me or tell on me." He said to her with a shrug, "That or you would think that I was lying to you. After all the way that they told it the only way that the orbs were supposed to be able to revert us back to our orginal shape was via the machines that only our kind have."
He took another piece for himself, how exactly Masaya had hatched the orb like it were some kind of egg was a mystery to him.

She hadn't even thought of that, and she scolded herself for that fact. His story was quite impossible. But he was the one to mention that, so either he assumed that would work in his favor or he miscalculated. Unless, of course, it was true. It seemed that the least likely things were true more and more often, so she couldn't rule it out yet. She would have to get more information before coming to a conclusion.
"Perhaps they can find out for you. It's quite obvious you're not dead. If not, I'm sure they could use you. And either way, you did not answer my question. What exactly do you plan to do from here?"

"I told you earlier that I found the only human worthy of anything on this planet, he is the one that found my orb in the park. He saved my life and for that I owe him. I can't turn my back on my debts so I am staying with him." He said with a little shrug, "He's rather..." He sighed and said it in the only way that he could, "Dumb. He really doesn't want for anything other then to try to save the world why all the rest of his kind trammple all over the work he does. I can't just abandon him. I don't think he would make it on his own. Especially with all that is coming."
He worried for Masaya, he had said that he didn't want to fight and Chimaki didn't want for him to have to fight. He wanted for him to be safe, "Besides. If they knew that my human friend had gotten help from who he did to save my life our people would brand me traitor and kill me." At best, that or try to get information out of him that he didn't have.
He saw no real reason to lie to her so he gave her most of the truth aside from the name of his human friend and the name of the one that his friend had gotten help from. He figured she could put two and two together on that one though, there was only one alien on this planet that associated with him would get you branded traitor.
Kisshu or as Masaya had called him, Kish. He munched on the dehydrated fruit and waited to see if she understood all he had told her.

It seemed Chimaki was in a pickle of his own, and his probably wasn't going to be resolved by a chat on the roof. Allying oneself with humans was practically treason, lifesaving measure or not. Even if he abandoned the human and pleaded his case- something he wasn't likely to do, from Dango's impression- they weren't likely to be merciful. The best case scenario would be... she couldn't even think of one.
And then there was the matter of this traitorous friend. One of them by the sound of it, yet one who had rebelled against them and their cause. There was only one who did that... Dango blushed unexpectedly, turning her head. "He's... he's still alive then? And doing well?"
That wasn't the question to ask. She should have captured her companion the moment he admitted his chosen path and let the higher-ups deal with him. But there was so much she wanted to know, even if the discussion was turning painful. It was a small price to pay for the wealth of information she had already been rewarded with.

He tilted his head looking at her curiously, she seemed interested in Kisshu and not in the 'track him down and kill him' sort of way either. That was an interesting development now wasn't it? "From what I gather he is well." He told her then crossed his arms and gave her a bit of a smile, "I have a question for you now. How much longer do you think until the fighting starts? While I would rather not fight our kind or my friend's kind I know that there is no way that one can be neutral in times of war."
He was going to have to be ready to fight when the fighting started no matter what Masaya said. Facing one of his own and knowing the danger that could come with talking to her made that click in his mind. It wasn't some sort of game and he couldn't hope and pray that they would changed their minds because the wouldn't, "I just want to know how much more peace there is left to enjoy. If nothing else has come from hanging out here with my human friend its that I rather like the quiet times."
Even if it were just watching TV and listening to Masaya talk about what he was going to do at school tomorrow or what event he was planning on attending that weekend. He liked it here on Earth.

Dango let his reaction slide. If it had been anyone else, any other situation, she would have punished any trace of complacency at her weakness. Severely and painfully. But there was no point beating on someone who was already hurting so much. She may be forceful, but she wasn't entirely merciless. Besides, he had given her the information she wanted to know. Slowly her fists unclenched, and she let out a tiny sigh of relief. "I'm glad."
But when the questioning was turned towards her, she actually laughed. "Starting? It's already started. Agents have been dispatched already. Of course, first they want the special ones targeted and eliminated. They haven't found any yet, but when they do..."
Her eyes sparkled. When they did, then she'd really get to let loose.

The red head merely nodded, "I see." He murmured, so the peace at the moment as at best a farce. It was as it was because the fights just hadn't broken out yet, "Then I suppose we will see each other again soon huh?" No doubt that their meetings wouldn't remain as they were, so calm and quiet. The talking between them wouldn't last, they were clearly of different sides.
"Do be careful in all of this. I would hate to see you get hurt." Her or anyone else. It was hard to remember but he didn't think that he was so soft before he had signed up to be among the first to go through the orb process. It was as while he slept in the orb in the care of Masaya something had changed in him. Something to deep to ever let him return to who he used to be, what he used to be.
It were as if he were gifted with compassion from Masaya, he would learn soon enough if such a thing were a blessing or a curse. The 'do whatever it takes' idea was no longer something that he could live with.

"If you stay out of our way, we won't need to meet again," Dango retorted. Living on Earth was one thing, but fighting with them? She could understand self-preservation, staying out of the way, remaining neutral. Even protecting a human was concievable under his unusual circumstances. But if he fought with them, with all of them... it was almost impossible to comprehend.
Then again, he had explained his position several times already. None of it was really his fault. And provided he didn't initiate anything, allowances could be made. Voice dropped to a whisper, she leaned closer. "If you don't do anything stupid... I'll try to keep them off your tail."
What was she saying? Could human emotion be so contagious that it passed to her through someone else who was infected? No, of course not. Nothing so alarming. It was just her innate desire to protect her own, that was all. Even if he was confused, their mission really was the same. She had to protect him until he snapped back to reality. And if that meant protecting a human for a short time as well, she could live with that.

Chimaki smiled and then nodded, "I will do my best to stay out of the way." He said, no promises but the only way he would willingly step into a battle at the moment was if Masaya somehow got himself caught up in one. Really aside from that he was all for standing in the background and trying his best to be invisible to the eyes of those that thought he was lost.
"Don't risk to much on my behalf. I would hate for you to be branded traitor or anything." He warned Dango.

As would she. Dango rubbed her arms involuntarily, feeling goosebumps at the mere thought. Her, a traitor? The most talented of her kind cast out for unseemly behavior? She would never let that happen. Certainly there would be good parts to it- more time on Earth for instance, not to mention the possible company of a certain former aquaintance- but it wouldn't be worth it. More than that, even thinking such thoughts was grounds for inquiry, and she couldn't afford that. Not that they'd catch her. She was the best actress they'd ever had.
And if she could have her cake and eat it too, without getting caught...
"I won't," she replied brusquely, cutting off that chain of thought. "I have no intention of being banished. So you had best keep your side of the bargain."

"Will do." He said then gave her a bright smile, "It was very nice to meet you Dango. I need to be getting going through, can't have the groceries going bad because I stopped to chat."
He lifted his hand to pull up the hood of the hoodie that he wore, hiding his ears then picked up the bags in his hands, "Lets do this again sometime huh?" He couldn't say that the idea of talking with her again wasn't an idea that appealed to him.

"I cannot agree to confiding trade secrets with traitors." Mmm, her protocol was flawless. She hadn't expected to have to use this particular set of rules, but it was always good to get some practice. "However, if our paths cross again, I would not be adverse to the idea of trading information."
Frowning, Dango approached the other alien. "But you will not lead me on again. Understand?"
Message delivered. Fully satisfied with her performance, she jammed her hat back on, pulling it tightly around her ears. "Good day, Chimaki."

"Fair enough. Next time I will be more well behaved and it will easier too knowing your name." He said then gave her a waved before he hopped off the side of the building, he easily floated down landing on his feet and seemed to be unnoticed by any of the humans who just seemed to busy with their own lives to worry about the things going on around them.
After making sure his hood was in place he slipped forward into the crowd of people and easily was lost among them as he headed for home.
It had been a nice meeting he had to admit and... he was almost looking forward to their next meeting so long as it didn't involve fighting and battles. He had told her he would try to stay out of those if he could. A promise he meant to keep for as long as he possibly could. **
