So you want your lion to be a little more specialized eh? you've come to the right place!!! Now, there are several talents to choose from. You can choose to have one point in them, or all your points in one. All dependant on what you feel you want to do. Some talents are based more on combat, others more on RP. Some are useful for both! So choose wisely.

Fighters---For those going for bonuses just through fighting, you will gain talent pionts every 25 completed fights. They will vary per age. Adults will gain 10 points, adolescents will gain 7, juveniles will gain 4, and cubs will gain 2.

RPers---you can still do fighting and gain them every 25, but also through roleplay. For ever 10 roleplays you complete that get to three pages, you will gain talent points. They also vary per age. Adults will gain 10, adolescents will gain 7, juveniles gain 4 and cubs gain 2. The only difference with RP points is, you must RP with other people, as opposed to fighting with your own lions if you own more than one. However, RP counts toward much more than just talent points, so never fear about missing out.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE

keep track of this in your journal. We will not do it for you, and if you come to us claiming you need your stats changed but don't have the links to fights or rp's in your journals, we will turn you down, even if they exist, until they're logged. There will be a place to request changes , which will not be this thread wink

Every age level gets a base level of points they are allowed to spend. They are as follows

Adult: 20
Adolescent: 13
Juveniles:7
Cubs:3

They may look drastic, but you also get stats each time you grow, eventually making it 20. For instance, a cub growing to a juvenile will then have four more points they can spend, or a juvenile to an adolescent will then have six more they can spend. All of this can be requested in the stats workbook (which will be up soon)

Awards for RP can also include talent points, so they can vary enormously.

So, lets get to the talents aye?

Balance---Useful for fights with trees involved, needed to stay ON the tree. Also a lot of RP aspects such as crossing rivers on slippery rocks, ect.
Bluff---Bluffing your foe into thinking you're doing one move but do another. Very effective also against siblings not belieivng your story, or if you have real guts, using it against your parents. wink
Climb---Pretty obvious. Climbing anything, be it slippery rocks, trees, ect
Concentration---used more for classes and magical use.
Diplomacy---Used for ending fights, or getting ones way. mostly RP based
Escape---Your ability to escape. If used and succeed, the fight is counted as a loss on your end, and a win for the other.
Heal---Used only for specific classes.
Hide---erm.. duh? lol
Intimidate---RP wise used to bully those around, in fighting, gives the intimidator a slight advantage momentarily
Jump---Determines how far or high you can jump
Listen---Ups your listening ability. useful for hunters.
Sneak---stealth basically, how welll you can sneak up on something or someone
Perform---used by some gods that have instruments, or those storytellers that weave tales. determines how gratified the audience is, or how charmed
Swim---fairly obvious
Tumble---used mostly in combat. Lions may not exactly tumble, but they can move around when they want to.

Now, these talents are just short definitions. I havn't included how much it ads to a dice throw, or when to use it, ect. I will add that. For now, i wanted to get them out there so that you knew what they were.

and yes, i play a lot of DnD, and these are borrowed from it.
