David Archuleta has released the... release date... lol, release release... haha, anyway, the release date of his debut album is November 11, 2008. Now, there was an article about it on americanidol.com news stuff, and David (and good ol' daddy...) say that he wants to stick with the pop thing, which is totally kool, because he pulls it off. He said he wanted to reach out to people his age, and even though he was getting into mature songs on the show, which he liked, he's still a teenager. The thing I didn't like about what they talked about is Dear ol' dad said they wanted a 'Miley touch' to the album. What? Okay, I do not want to be mean, but Hannah Montana is what he's shooting for? He wants to sound like a Disney star? I mean, people have said he could totally fit in with the High School Musical crowd, but I don't know about Hannah Montana or Miley Cyrus or whatever.
