((Reh-gal-th...That' how I pronounced it and I like it better! 3nodding ))

As he watched both Kai and Regalth fade into the shadows of the night once again, Zalenth crept down low as he laid down upon the rocky ledge and let his eyes scan across the endless skies.

Though everything was masked by night, the sky casted its priceless stars within the wakes of the sky. Their immaculate light shone down brightly as their rays of beauty casted a surreal and fantasy appearance. It was just like a dream entwined with reality yet for only the span of several hours.

Well it's been quiet a Hatching Feast so far, he chuckled lightly as his eyes whirled with the calming hues of blues and flecks of green.

With her mind, and stomach of course, set on to at least get a bit more to eat and drink, Stryder shuffled herself towards the right as she fiercely gripped the end of a table. Shifting her left leg slightly she slowly began to rise up as it steadied and monitered her sense of balance. Though it was painful still to stand, the two-toned rider simply gritted her teeth and deflected the pains from her train of thought.

Managing to stagger upon two feet at last Stryder smiled as best she could and took several steps towards her seat. Her glass of Benden White still stood with its half-full appearance was bizzare for one to see. Ajacent to the glass was her plate of food, no doubt cold and undesirable as the best treats were only worth eating when hot. Lowering herself to the bench with a delicate manner, she sighed.

"Now that the brawls over, I guess we can get back to normal now," she commented with a smirk, raising her glass of wine to her lips and partaking of such welcomed relief gladly.

Necia walked with her, picking up the two cold plates. "What's say I get some hot food, hm?" Without waiting for a reply, she took them head threw the food in the trash, putting the plates into the dirty plates bin next to it, then heading to get newer, warmer food.

Kai entered the hall about then, and sighed, walking over to set Regalth down on the bench next to her while she tasted her food. Shaking her head at the cold taste, she got up and threw it out as well, ending up behind Necia in line.

"Well, so much for not wasting food."

Kai nodded. "I know. But I prefer my tubers and wherry warm."

"I'll agree to that. Mashed tubers just aren't the same cold."

"How's Stry doing?"

"Oh, she'll be fine; we're lucky that C'tel's blade missed anything vital." She looked angry for a moment, then continued. "But she's going to need a new glass of Benden White soon, and I'm getting her new, warmer food." As Necia reached the plates she took two of them.

"Want some help?"

"That would be nice. Here, you hold the plates, and I'll add what you want to yours. Agreed?"

Kai smiled and nodded, but as Necia began stacking her plate and Stry's she thought back to her earlier calming of Zalenth and Piroth. She bit her lip, then realized that with the junior queen, she was going to have to mention it somday anyway.

So Kai just sighed, and when Necia held up a piece of roast wherry, nodded. For right now, all she wanted was some good food to fill her stomach and to sleep as well as her little dragonet.

As Necia rose from the bench and offered to retrieve fresh food, a smile crept upon Stryders lips as she parted them from her glass of wine. "Sounds good to me," she replied with a small grin. "Thanks Necia!" Though the scarlet rider had walked towards the spacious tables and began conversing with Kai, Stryder was sure she couldn't of heard her but she could still thank her when she returned.

Draining the last bit of Benden White from her glass, the two-toned rider placed it back upon the table and sighed. The danger had long past and her wounds still fresh as little blood seeped from them yet she couldn't stop her mind from wandering in countless thoughts while pain swept through her body in sparatic surges.

Zalenth, she softly bespoke as her vision drew near towards the open window, are you alright?

The two-toned perked up his head, crooning softly as his riders delicate voice echoed through his thoughts. That's what I should be asking you, Strydermine. I am well, better than before, but how are you doing?

I'm managing, she simply replied as her words bore its own smile.

I feel your pain, mine.

And I felt your rage, Zally. Stryder smirked as she could barely catch sight of the two-tones whirling orbs within the darkness. Believe me, if I was C'tel I would have bolted out of the door and ran far away.

If I was at your side, he wouldn't have been able to stand! I'm sorry I just-I couldn't help you. His tone was somber, mourning as he reflected on what he could not do nor do to help. A low rumble emitted from his chest as he manuvered his wings across his back, slightly unfurled as the night's light illuminated his hide with a mysterious appearance.

The two-toned rider's heart sunk as his words echoed through her mind. Zally, it's not your fault. Besides, you did what you could've done and did it well. Besides, you couldn't have been in here in the first place because of the lack of room and your size. She softly laughed as she rested the side of her head upon her fist, I'll still need all the help I can get so don't think you'll have an opportunity to help.

I'll be there when you need me, the brown-white replied with a rumble of laughter. Will we gaze at the stars tonight together? We haven't looked at them since a few sevendays and tonight is quite clear.

I'd like that. How about after Necia and I are done with dinner and a bit of wine?

I'll keep you to that, Zalenth remarked with a jubilent tone.

You have my word, Zally. As she could feel the two-tone divert his train of thought slowly as their compromise was sealed, Stryder grinned as she looked around the Dinning Halls. Still compacted with countless guests, riders and Weyrlings, the two-toned rider kept her head supported by her hand, elbow in turn supported by the table, as she silently contemplated secret thoughts and curiosities.

Deep within the tunnels behind the feasting hall, an exhausted Triana lay curled next to the sleeping Harmonath, her breaths slow and even. She never slept this deeply in Nabol, so deeply that she didn't wake when two figures raised her body between them to carry her. Harmonath, in the grip of his first sleep and sated by his first meal, didn't notice the movement next to him. Since there was no distress in his rider's mind, there was no reason for him to wake.

Necia and Kai returned to the table where Stryder was so that Kai could put down her plate and Stry's, then Kai went and retrieved Regalth, since no one was sitting at her table any longer.

"Go on, Stry, eat before it gets cold," Necia amiably told the two-tone rider, setting the steaming plate down before herself and the two glasses of wine down by herself, pushing one over to Stry once she had sat. "Tell Zally you'll see him later. Oh, and Kai is joining us."

The girl smiled as she heard the comment, and carefully sat with the baby prism in her lap. "I hope you don't mind."

"Thanks," Kai said, and gently moved Regalth to the bench next to her, only stirring the sleeping dragonet slightly. Once that was done and Regalth was settled, Kai smiled at them both and dug into her food, making a happy noise at the taste of the warm wherry meat.

Necia grinned at Kai's pleasure and took a sip of Benden White before she started in on her tubers, rather pleased herself with the food. "I love Gathers," she said once she had scarfed down a few mouthfuls. "Even more when we can drink ourselves into a stupor and not get in trouble for it."

Dahes had had enough excitement for one day. He gathered up Lors from where the firelizard was dozing on the table and headed off to find a cot.

Jenebal noticed that things were winding down as well. Even most of the younger harpers had left. It was odd that he didn't recognize them, but he was fairly new in the area. He went to his small room in the weyr to sleep, leaving his door ajar so that his firelizards could come when they wished.

Martell and Gianni would stay up late into the night, not leaving the feast until everyone had gone. The drudges would clean up.
