History/Design Features: The Masamune is Eclipse's Custom GB sword. A miniature GN Furnace (using a standard materia orb) is situated into a back pack configuration, with a recharge rack for the sword. When activated, the sword is coated with GN particles aligned to allow it unparalleled cutting ability, and strength. The strength of the blade is such that it can hold up against, and even "Break" lightsabers.
The Masamune, when fully charged, has enough GN for up to one hour of combat. For maximum efficiency, there is a "power-save" mode, that uses motion and pressure-sensitive gyroscopes to gauge when the blade is in motion for attack and defense, and only emit particles then. However, this runs the risk of damaging the E-Carbon blade.
Recharge rate is two minutes.
Blade Beam: In desperate circumstances, all the built up GN can be expelled in an energy wave, directed with a slashing motion. The blade will then have to be recharged.
