I've managed to find a way to volunteer for the Anthropology department, which is awesome! So my adviser got me in contact with one of his graduate students and I'm cleaning artifacts for her!

It sounds so boring and monotonous, but I love it!

See now that's the kind of thing I want to do. I want to have some experience doing something somewhat related to biology but I don't want to do something that requires me to know too much to start off with... because I don't yet xP I could you know... measure leaves on a tree for someone's project or something xP

I would just try asking your professor first and see if he/she knows someone. That's how I got my volunteer work. Plus, I've never had experience previous to this and she was totally cool with it. 3nodding
