She blinked. "I never thought of it like that. Any way, I guess." She sighed. "I was only instructed to find someone generally-- if not extremely--evil or immoral and serve him in hopes of starting a change for a better world. How that makes sense, I have no idea."

Ryu smiled "Well you have your work cut out for you" Ryu said as they landed outside the city "this world has gone to the shadows. you've seen the deamon that attacked me in the forest."

She was quiet for a moment, remembering the feeling of betrayal and confusion when she'd been cast out. They finally landed at the edge of the forest. She let him go and looked up at him. "I think so too. I just...wish I wasn't."
She coughed. "Where to now, master?"
