Luster University's Amphitheater! A new addition to Luster University is this amphitheater. It's stage is cement and holds a symphony underneath. It also has a rather expansive backstage area. Mature tulip trees and white oaks provide the “ceiling” for this area during the hot summer and rainy spring time. However, once winter rolls around, Bell's drama class has to move indoors into the school's Auditorium.

Mena found herself in the ampitheater. Giggling she climbed up on stage. Mena stared out into the seating area and smiled. She could hear an announcer in her mind.
...And now ladies and gentleman! For you viewing pleasure. Mena Scout will be performing a number from Seussical the Musical! Mena appeared on stage wearing a adorable bird costume. She smiled out at the audience and began to sing.
Doo doo, doo doo, doo doo, doo doo doo doo... There once was a girl bird named Gertrude McFuzz And she had the smallest plain tail ever was. One droopy-droop feather, that's all that she had And oh! That one feather made Gertrude so sad
She curled it. She dyed it she gave it a puff She decked it with flowers But it wasn't enough. For no matter what, It just was what it was- A tail that simply wasn't meant To catch the eye of an elephant... The one feather tail of Miss Gertrude McFuzz.
The crowd went crazy as mena bowed off the stage.
"Thank you thankyou!." Mena waved. "You really are too kind." She beamed at her invisible audience.

Briar had remained in the shadows, but when Mena finished he walked out. He had recognized her song she sang even though he'd missed the first verse. He walked out and started to sing the first couple of lines from one of his favorite musical songs, Into the Woods.
There are Giants in the sky! There are big tall terrible Giants in the sky!
When you're way up high And you look below At the world you left And the things you know, Little more than a glance Is enough to show You just how small you are.
He then stood on the stage, surprised he was able to do that. I guess the stage is the only place where I'm not painfully shy. He thought.

Mizuki continued to walk aimlessly through the crowd of people until she ended up in Amphitheater. There was a couple of people already there. She listened to both of them preform onstage in front of what seemed to be an invisible audience. They seemed to be so into it that they didnt even see Mizuki watching. Finally, when they were both finished, she clapped loudly, making herself seen. "That was very good" Mizuki said in a whisper. She blushed a little and looked down, not sure what she should say next.

Briar, coming back to his painfully shy self, blushed a deep scarlet color once he heard the applause. He looked up and saw a girl standing out in the audience. "Hey, you should come and join us" He belted, "It's a blast!" He then turned to the other girl who had been onstage and asked her "Do you know 'Anything You Can Do' from Annie Get Your Gun?"

Mena blushed when the guy had walked onto stage and then began singing. She hadn't realized anyone had seen her. Her blush deepened when a girl appeared offstage. Mena was about to walk away when the guy asked her if she knew 'Anything You Can Do' from Annie Get Your Gun. Mena nodded slowly. Of course she knew that song. Any drama student worth anything knew that song. She thought everyone should know it by now. It had been bastardized in the gatorade commercials by Mia Hamm and Michael Jordon.

Briar saw the other girls nod, "Would you sing it with me. I love that song, but most people only know the parts from the stupid TV commercials. It drives me crazy. There is so much more to that song and they just ruin it!"

Mena looked at the boy curiously "By the way my name is Mena. Mena Scout." She said slowly trying to gauge what kind of person he would be. She realized she hadn't answered the boy. "I haven't sang that song in quite a while. I'm not sure I remember the words."

Briar nodded, "I'm Briar Frost. It's nice to meet you Mena. I didn't think I would find another theatre person here. Looks like I was wrong. Have you had a lot of theatre experience?" He asked smiling.

Meno looked at the boy. Briar. "I would say so." She said thinking back on all the plays and musicals she'd been in. Her favorite was when she played Thelma Kelly from Chicago. She smiled at the thought. "Yes I've had quite a bit of experiance." She nodded.
