With a sigh, Seriozha flopped over onto his side. Bad idea, really. The water was frigid and most definitely uninviting, something the already slightly chilly male didn't need this early in the morning. Maybe taking a walk on the beach in the dead of winter was an equally bad idea after all. Jumping up immediately, he attempted to shake the wetness from his fur before it started to cling and turn to frost. The thought of becoming a walking snowman was less than welcomed. Trotting up the sand and towards the safe and hopefully warm treeline in the distance, he continued to shake, or rather, began to shiver. A frown stretched the usually happy male's maw. There wasn't much else to do but curl at the base of a tree and huddle as close to the twining roots as possible. Sometimes not having a true home was an unfortunate thing.

Keelani had needed some fresh air; sometimes things tended to get a bit too stifling for her and she found she preferred to be in a quiet area. She gave a small shiver, but for the most part she'd become acclimated to the cold weather for the morning. It wasn't bad, just really cold. Her ears perked as she caught sight of something orange not too far off. She eyed the other ulaya then the water which he seemed to have been near.
Had he gone swimming? Was he insane? She had no intention of disturbing her morning peace to check on the other, but she couldn't help but follow him to the trees, mildly curious what he was going to do... She wasn't completely cold hearted, but found life was easier when she didn't have to deal with others. If the ulaya didn't find somewhere warm.... Her ears went back lightly.

Well, sitting here shivering wasn't really helping. At times like this, his best option was to wander off to find some place warmer, a cave or hollow tree, anything that could be considered a real shelter. However, he'd just woken up recently. Why in the world would he want to crawl back to a place used for sleep so soon. There was a whole day of exploring ahead of him now. It wasn't like him to be so placid and boring. Rising to a stand, he shook out his fur again, lifting one of his paws to wipe at a cold cheek.
After rubbing here and there, attempting to warm himself, he began moving again. Exploration was his calling and he would make sure today was no different. Well, maybe a little different, but he was certainly willing to accept the type of different the bright, rune-like colors in the distance promised. Soft brown eyes widened happily, that same immediate spark of excitement he felt upon seeing all new faces lighting up his face. "Heeey!" he called, not knowing that she hadn't exactly been looking for his company or anything of the sort.

Keelani's ears perked as she saw the other get up. Well, he was fine, no need to bother. Tail wiggling lightly she stopped in her tracks, now intending to veer to her first intended travel path. She gave a small sigh, her breath causing a small puff of warm air out and gave a small chuckle and shook her head when she walked through it.
She froze in her steps as she was called after. Her ears went back lightly, and gave a small flinch before actually turning to glance at him. She could've been completely unfriendly and ignored the call, in fact, she was half tempted, but it was too late now as she had acknowledged the others presence.

Having begun a quick and happy bound towards his new company, he looked extremely excited to see her turn back to him. At least she had acknowledged him, if nothing more. Now there was time to talk! Huffing as he came to a stop before her, he sucked in a deep breath. "Hello, thanks for waiting." He smiled, slender tail flicking in constant happiness. "I'm Seriozha." Peeking past here, he tried to figure out where she could possibly be going. "Were you going somewhere important?" It would probably upset him to hear a yes to that answer, but she hadn't originally been coming his way when he stopped her and could have somewhere to be.

The ulaya watched the other bound towards her; she probably should have kept going. Instead, she found herself stuck to her spot. Ear flicking she kept a neutral face before a rather confused and skeptical one took it's place. Her tail wiggled lightly offering her name only after a moment after looking the other over, "Keelani..." She glanced over her shoulder to where the other was looking and gave a small shrug. "Not... really." Her ear flicked as she looked at him, "How about yourself?"
