Darla began to sniffle as Dazeray said goodbye.
"Darla, I don't know if you want to, but you are welcome to come along."
Her head jerked up. "You... you really mean it? I can come?" a hint of a smile peeked on her face. "Like a family..." she whispered, almost to herself. The group began to walk off. "Wait for me! I'm comin too!" she said, grabbing Dazeray's hand. She smiled a loving grin at Dazeray.
"I think I found my mommy."
