Something about Atticus's voice touched Zahari deep inside; she felt like she could listen forever. He was truly skilled, an she felt lucky to have met him. "I wonder how he tells her," she said, with a little shiver. The revelation of true love was always an amazing part of any story, especially when it was more than just love, but destiny. "Sometimes, princesses- at least, the sort that I'm used to- need... a little help figuring everything out. I hope that when he does tell her, he tells her under, oh, a big bright moon, doing something incredibly romantic. It wouldn't matter, of course, if he told her while they were just sitting and talking, because it would mean the same thing either way... but it's always such fun to be grand and elegant and in love, all at the same time. I mean... it is in the stories." Her nose flushed heavily, and she batted her eyes down. "I don't have much experience with love myself."

He smiled with a smile so wide that his fangs were exposed. But it was followed by a chuckle, and a sigh. "I think that a princess should be told that they have true love, in a most.. romantic way.. Or the Prince would, I mean.. I think he'd find that it made him happy to be so souless for someone..When his past had been so poorly painted. " He smiled once more, before moving a little closer, and looking into her bright eyes with his eerie orange ones, that were equally as bright. "Surely, you have found your own prince..." He said in a bit of disbelief. How could someone not have snatched such a creative genius up by now!

"No, no prince yet for me. I haven't found the right one... or rather, the right one hasn't found me. Most of the males I know care more about a lioness who can hunt well than one who can't, and well... I'm rather clumsy, and nowhere near as good as my sisters are. That's why I tell stories- I wanted to find something I was good at, and being able to tell tales just came naturally to me when I was younger. But, maybe some day, my prince will come." She smiled into his sunset eyes- his wide grin was contagious. "And how about your princess? Has she found you yet?"

He nodded at her explanation, and nodded once more when she had finished. "Yes.. But I would want to be hunt for you.. I wouldnt need you to hunt.. If you were my princess I mean.. "He answered, having trouble finding the right words, but trying to keep himself from stuttering. "I have no princess, as no princess has found me." He replied simply, but with a little grin.

Shy, she looked down at her paws and spoke softly. "You're a prince among lions, you know that? Offering to hunt for your princess... I hope you find her, and I hope she deserves you." Looking up again, her smile was a small smirk. "It's a shame she can't come waltzing out of your stories, isn't it? I've often hoped that a prince would emerge from mine. But life isn't always a story... It's a shame it can't be that way, though. I'd really like to meet the prince in your story. I think we'd get along quite well."

It made him happy to feel her feel so... good towards him. He wanted to be the protector, the provider, the romancer to his princess and nothing else. "I think the prince in your story would do quite well, my darling." He said with a nod. "Because I feel that life can be a story, and life can waltz straight from fantasy into a new reality the likes of which the dreamer had never known before." He smiled, a gleam in his eyes. "For you see.. the prince in the story..is me."

Zahari jolted a bit, blinking. Really, she should have expected this- she did ask for a story about his life, and she got one. The glimmer in his eyes should've given it away... Her heart went out to him, it really did. Such adversity and yet he grew up into such a wonderful lion... "Well then," she said with a bit of a catch in her voice. "I'm honored to meet you, Prince Atticus." She bowed her head, looking up at him a bit teasingly. If only she were a princess... He'd be a fine prince. That he would. But that was just in stories... right?

He snorted a bit with laughter. "You are silly. The prince was me..and Ive never had a princess in my story until you. Create a story in your hear, Ri, about what I want to be to you." He said with a nod. He had never found someone who loved the stories as much as he.. His past had made him who he was, he was sure he would be quite nasty if it had not been as it was. "I am no prince. But I want to be." He said, eyes earnestly looking into hers.

What was this she was feeling? Was it love? Infatuation? Admiration? She couldn't be sure, and she didn't want to rush headlong into things... Coughing a little bit, she shook her head. "Oh, believe me, I'm no princess... and if you're no prince... maybe... we could go find a kingdom together?" She couldn't believe what she was saying, but she knew that was what she needed deep down. "And then... maybe when we find our kingdom... maybe then you'd be a prince and I'd be a princess. Of course, we'd have to find it first... but I bet it'll be easier if we look together."
