Spell CraftersThe Idea behind Spell Crafters is to create spells and skills of your own design and use them against your opponent(s). You get base elements to work with to create skills and spells that you can then use. You can also use other peoples ideas for your attacks unless they have marked them as a specialty. The current base elements: -heat -oblivion -light -energy -air -water -earth -metal -force -time -life -thought (open to any and all additional ideas) All characters start with 10 of each element and get 5 more of each chosen element on every page. As you level up you get more elements per page. Experience is given based on kills and impressive moments (surviving certain powerful spells or wiping out an entire army of summons). Any spells and or skills you wish to use need to be sent to me with how much they cost to use and exactly how they can be used. If it is OP I will decide if it will be tweaked or garbaged. If you think your spell/skill idea is unique enough and I agree, I will mark that spell/skill as your own special skill that no one else may copy. During the game when people are fighting I will determine "damage" so the game doesn't get imbalanced. submit profile skeletons to me with this info: (required) Gaia name: Character name: level: 1 element(s) of choice: (gives additional per page, can have one repeated multiple times) forsaken elements: (must have an equal amount of these as choice elements, you receive none of these per page) discipline: (chose between caster,fighter, or spellsword it will depend on whether you use skills or spells more often, and how strong each can become.)
(optional) anything about your character from appearance to a bio, keep in mind this isn't an RP special equipment: (you may not start with anything in this category, but you may create things during the game if you wish) anything else you feel like adding to your character If you have any questions please PM me,and don't clutter the thread with messages that don't include an action in them to avoid extra elements being given out. Rules:
-when you attack you do not automatically hit, your opponent gets a chance to defend always -no double posting - if you have been attacked you get 3 posts to respond to the attack in, or you take the hit - all characters are able survive massive amounts of hits, though characters will still eventually die if left without protection. - at the top of your post please list any effects or casting times that are currently on any characters - please avoid ganging up on people or attacking them while they are offline, it's not exactly fun if people insist on playing unfair - no using spells or skills marked as unique - avoid using spells you didn't design - post your current element pool so everyone knows how much of each you have to use on spells

Skills and Spell book:
Fireball 3 heat instant cast Your basic fireball used to blow up small things
Heavy Blow 3 force instant cast Increases the power behind and punch, kick, or other physical attack dramatically
Ice spear 1 air 2 water instant cast Creates a ice spear to be thrown at a enemy
Water Wall 5 water 1 Air instant cast Creates a upwards flowing waterfall to protect the user, lasts 5 turns
Buffering Winds 2 Air 1 Energy instant cast Creates small winds which can be used to push objects and counter weak spells
blinding light 5 light instant cast An explosion of lingering light in a large area used for blinding
sleep 3 thought 3 post casting time puts an opponent to sleep, opponent starts becoming drowsy during casting, interruptible
befriend 6 thought 2 post cast confuses an enemy into friendship, does not work when directly fighting opponent, stands a chance of being broken by thought based attacks against opponent.
flame shield 4 fire instant cast A large wall of flame that shoots up in front of the caster
boulder shield 6 earth instant cast causes a wall of earth to surround the caster. lasts for 5 turns.

Tanis layed on the ground in the arena, trying to make himself seem dead. He began to chant to himself, begining to cast befriend on cara
(note from Krell: won't work mat. only opponent and she was here first so that breaks your not directly facing off rule, also please post your base element count at the top of each post and the remaining at the bottom. same with status effects and casting times if you would be so kind)

Cara casts 4 Ice spears (8 Water, 4 Air). She lets 3 Settle on the floor and launches the fourth at Tanis useing Buffering Winds (2 Air, 1 energy)

(Impressive, already grasping the finer points of the game and you've only just started.)

tanis casts 2 fireballs (6 heat) 1 to melt the ice spear coming at him, and the other straight at his opponent and blinding light (5 light) which blinds the opponent
