* House Kilund *

A House that focus's on the adoption and training of Houseless drow. House Kilund specializes in turning out highly skilled Assassins. Those drow whom are accepted into the House are required to undergo a vigorous and deadly training program in which they are required to wear a mask while in training. This is to ensure that their pupils are unable to be marked and tied to the House. Other drow who desire to hire a assassin that will have no connections back to them often pay for the services of House Kilund.

The royal line of House Kilund is a very carefully guarded line. The family tradition required the matron mother to have exactly one daughter and one son. The daughter is required to have one daughter and one son herself. The son is required to have one daughter. Any other children born are sacrificed to Lloth immediately. This is to keep House Intrigues to a minimum. The line of the Matrons daughter is always primary in determining the line of rule. The son merely provides a secondary female in the case of the Primary line being wiped out. This secondary female is un-allowed to bare any offspring of her own unless the primary line it utterly wiped out, in which case she would assume the role of Primary line and begin the line again.

In addition to the Breeding limitations, each member of the ruling line is given a special Spider when they are born. The spider's egg is placed around their neck in a special necklace. As the child grows older, the egg grows bigger. By the time the child becomes a toddler, the egg reaches the size of a fist, and it hatches a rat sized spider.

As the child grows and is trained in the ways of the House, the spider stays with him or her at all times. The spider grows..and grows...and grows...by the time the child becomes an adult, their spider has reached the size of a great Dane. The spider serves two purposes. It acts as a guard for the drow that it has grown with, and upon the drows death....the spider eats their corpse. it is believed by House Kilund that the most fitting way for a noble to be sent to the Spider Queen is in such a manner. Their soul goes to fuel her and serve her, and their flesh serves as fuel for her holiest of creatures. After the spider serves it's purpose it is turned loose into the lowest levels of the House dungeon to roam as they will.

Matron Mother: Zarala (Shadow Priestess)
~ Status: Living
~ A cold, aloof female. She has nothing to do with her family. She deals strictly with them through messengers. There is only brief contact during the yearly ceremonies in the House Chapel.

~ First Son: Talaeuol (Pink Gem)
~ Status: Presumed Deceased (Living)
~ Last seen in the marketplace with his elder sister. He vanished along with his nanny. No leads in accordance to his fate have been determined. Not that much effort was put into his recovery. The child's known traits were dark grey skin, pure white hair, and bright pink eyes.

~ First Daughter: Balvyll (Flame Zealot)
~ Status: Deceased
~ A self centered and distant female. She has left the upbringing of her children to the servants and indulged in her own personal agendas. Currently she is involved in a power play to undermine her mothers authority and remove her from Rule without implementing herself.
