At the edge of the grassy plains sits a rather large, rather cool lake. A lake that Lumi is currently trying to keep herself cool in. It is entirely TOO hot outside today, and the small stream that was once frigid running through the home both herself and Heret had together, had become too warm for her to stand. The heat was making her sick. She wasn't meant for it, and to be quite honest, she was beginning to attribute the heat to the depression she'd been in for far too long now.
She sighed, sinking her body into it, praying to some higher power that this would make her feel better. And it was slightly, but she still felt nauseous, something that happened when ever she got over heated. She hated this place right now, knowing that, in a sense, she was trapped here. She'd much rather be some place much cooler to wait out the summer. But Heret's pelt wasn't meant for that sort of weather, she knew he wouldn't be able to stand it. And besides.... if she ever did have fawns.... please god please.... She was sure they wouldn't be able to stand the harsh winters that they used to experience. Plus... She thought musing to herself as she sunk into the water, leaving just her head, her hair, her tail, and her scarf, floating in the gentle waves, if Heret's father was still alive, why would she even THINK about possibly putting him in danger by bringing him near the mountains?
She sighed closing her eyes, finally cooling off.
