Powers/Abilities: Technomancer, often referred to as a hacker or a living computer due to his ability to bypass nearly any security system and store massive amounts of data and information in his memory. Capable of switching machines on and off without direct contact, though cannot bring them life and have them disco across the floor (for example). Apparently he doesn't have complete control over bits of his ability yet; when angered, nearby machines begin to spark, sputter, and malfunction, or explode altogether. Because he has so much contact with computers and security systems, Shigekazu is sometimes affected by viruses which temporarily disable his powers. While working, his eyes turn a neon green. (Note: he's not an actual computer so you can't surf the Web on him. He'll be very unhappy if you try using his face as a keyboard.)

Personality: Best described as "anti-social". Shigekazu has a great degree of difficulty getting along with others, and not because he dislikes people. The nature of his abilities makes him very bland, boring and logical in most people's eyes. He tends to focus more on work than anything else, rarely choosing to say more than a few sentences to anyone else unless they've asked him a question regarding something specific (in that case, be prepared for a long explanation). His voice is very calm, though his tone holds a slight sense of monotony.

Being a stoic sort of person, he doesn't go looking for fights and, if he did get involved in one somehow, he'd be virtually useless. He was not intended to be sent out into combat so avoids it like the plague.

Difficult to believe or not, he does actually have emotions. They're buried so deep underneath the piles of information in his brain that it would take drastic measures to dig them out again. He does smile, though can usually be found frowning at illogical things people do or say. Shigekazu is nice enough, and can even be funny or witty when the mood takes him (which his hardly ever). However, he tends to be stubborn as an ox, so it'd take a lot of work to get him to drop what he was currently assigned to do or change his mind regarding a subject. Once given a command, he'll keep working until he's finished his current project.

Supposedly enjoys painting; no one's actually seen a piece he's painted though.

Bio: Most memories of his past have been either "deleted" or pushed so far beneath the surface of his sub/conscious mind that he has great difficulty remembering who he used to be, or even what it really means to be a human being. Public knowledge suggests that he was born to Aiko and Isao Ishikawa in Fukuoka, Japan, though he doesn't speak a lick of the language and looks more American than anything else. His family moved to the states almost immediately after he was born to escape from Aiko's tyrannical father, whom Shigekazu apparently resembles. The family fell on hard times and, reluctantly, were forced to give their baby boy up for adoption. Unfortunately, not a single person showed interest in the mahogany-haired bundle of joy, and Shigekazu grew up under the watchful eye of Mary Genesis, the eighty year-old woman who was in charge of the adoption agency.

Upon turning nineteen, he began journeying out into the real world. Six months later, he was officially missing. Within the course of almost two years, he changed from a young man with hopes and dreams for the future to a nearly hollow shell who knows only how to follow orders. He doesn't dream of escape with every passing moment, but rather remembering what has been taken from him and buried. Through all the pains of experimentation, Shigekazu stares blankly ahead.

Alignment: Neutral - he just does as he's told, regardless of who the command comes from.
