A group of professional people posted this question to a group of 4 to 8 year olds. "What does love mean?" The answers they got were broader and deeper than anyone could have imagined. See what you think.....

When my grandma got arthritis, she couldn't bend over and paint her toenails anymore. So my grandpa does it for her now all the time, even when his hands got arthritis too. That's love.

Love is when you kiss all the time. Then when you get tired of kissing, you still want to be together and you talk more. My mommy and daddy are like that. They look gross when they kiss.

And the winner was a 4 year old child whose next door neighbor was an elderly man who had just lost his wife. When the child saw the man cry, the little boy went over into the man's yard and climbed on top of
the man's lap and just sat there. When the boy's mother asked him what he'd said to the neighbor, the little boy said, "Nothing, I just helped him cry."

Love can feel like you're in heaven but it can hurt like hell.

I would say it reaches all extremes. It can make you really happy but it can make you sad and destroy you inside. Make you angry, jealous, depressed, cared for...

Love is one of those things that no bodies real sure of, but it can hurt and heal, and it was one of the most powerful things in the world behind tons decisions, and it's not always a feeling, but also a decision.

Love is complicated and takes a lot of work. Being able to say you love someone is one thing but truly loving them is another. Today, or at least where I live, love is thrown around like any other word. Nobody knows how to cherish it for when the time is right to say it. Everyone wants it, because it's the closest thing we have to magic. And everyone will do anything to find an excuse to say it. We put ourselves through heartache and countless relationships because we hope to find it. Cause we know when we do, everything sour and painful in the past will have been worth it. I don't know about you guys, but I believe in it..I just haven't found it yet confused

Enough said.
