Strong claws rapidly hit the ground one time after another, gaining speed as the strong young wolf came to his prey, he had been stalking for quite a while and now it was time to strike. He soon came to the edge of a small cliff, his huge paws pushing his body off the edge and he flew though the air, the wing blowing his fur in all directions before he landed on the back of his opponent, the poor thing did not even see it something and before it knew it the deer was in a panic. He sunk his great fangs into the poor things throat his jaws locking. It was only a matter of time now. The beast kept leaping until it finally fell and hit the floor with a thud, the life soon slipping from it, a wolf had to eat and stamping on the weak was a measure that had to be taken, Shadow let go of the corpses neck and went to examine the beast. It was quite fat maybe if it would of been in better shape it would have put up a better fight. Even though it was lacking in tender muscle it would still do him for a decent meal. It was coming into deep winter, the nights grew longer so food was becoming rarer to find, he took a bite into the creatures side, blood staining the once pure and beautiful snow. The moon shone above bright, it was not very late at all however it was already pitch black in the sky, a few twinkles of stars the snow reflecting the moons light. It was a beautiful sight, especially from the light snow that was coming down from the sky. Then she males eyes went sharp and concentrated, someone was near he could smell them. However it was familiar he smirked and looked into the fogy forest. "Ahh and the female returns." he stated raising his eyebrows.

A lone Were slid silently through the shadows, where the male had been looking. She vanished much like a ghost, despite her contrasting fur colour to the pristine snow. Her eyes flickered a moment as she swiftly moved across, behind, and around. She was swift and silent, and when she slowed to a sneaking walk, she was nigh impossible to hear.
The scent of fresh, potent blood had her eyes glittering with their golden luminescence...and she crept towards the edge of the small cliff, peering silently down at the Were she had once hunted with. She was not above stealing a kill if she had to...nor was she against killing off a Were that was too weak to live. But this wolf...wasn't necessarily weak.
"Bright Moons mean good hunting..." She murmured down at him, expression one of imperial indifference, though she inhaled deeply of the smell of fresh meat and blood. It was her favourite saying, for most often, it proved true. Fortunately for both of them, the bright moon wasn't full.

"Indeed, I have tasted the bounty of such a beautiful moon." He stated as he licked his lips, traces of the tasty red liquid on his mouth before he looked up at her with a smirk his bright yellow eyes reflecting the light. "Now it would be rude of me not to offer a former hunting partner a share of my meal. Come down here and eat before your strong body begins to get skinny, no reason to waste a attractive figure." He stated as he backed up from his kill a little bit trying to become a member of her good books. Sometimes you had to shower a women with gifts before you could ask something of them. So for now he was going to treat her like a queen, until he wanted something in return.
He smirked as he scanned her, she appeared to have lost some weight since they last met, this disheartened him, she was so strong and it saddened him to see any women suffer, she must be hungry, her winter coat seemed to be in full bloom. He liked the look others had when they were fluffy, it gave him a small pleasure, he liked his women on the plump side, he had only started to gain a interest in this female, she was strong and wilful, not like the little pups wondering, he would see how these meetings kept on going, however if nothing worked it would not be the end of the world. There was many more fish in the sea.

Her head tilted proudly before she rose up on the small cliff, leaping nimbly down. Her slight loss of weight was nothing; a minor nuisance that she hardly felt. She had made sure to eat plenty in the fall. Keflee stalked forwards, keeping her eyes on the male. She was not ignorant...she had been part of far too many temporary packs to miss something like that.
Blunt, she stopped a few paces away, ears flicked forwards. "What is it you want from me in exchange for the boon of sharing your feast, Shadow Fang?"
If he evaded and said nothing, she would hold him to that, feeling no guilt in partaking of the meal, and she would not be cowed after, or at a later time. Her eyes were bright and focused, despite the lure of a meal that was practically at her paws. She was hungry, for certain, but there were certain things she would not do. And she would not bow down to another's whims, if they did not run parallel to her own ideas, ideals, and plans.

"Blame me for trying to win a young ladies favour, come eat we can talk business later. I am not a dis-honourable male, do not worry your dignity or commitment is not in question here, just trying to strengthen relationships."
She stated the usual confident smirk on his face as she came closer. The breathe could be seen in front of his nuzzle it was a cold night, his coat protected in from it, it made him look so much bigger than he usually was and he was not really a small male. He moved over and decided to go for the meat near the ribs to break them, giving her the section near the rear legs, the stomach and over organs where they, they were soft and filling, so as a gentleman they where the ideal place to give to a female.
"So have you had any more encounters since we last met? I had a feeling I would see you again."

Keflee nodded, eyes narrowing the slightest bit as she stepped forwards, unrushed, to seat herself in the space he had given her. She could have been starving and at the brink of death...and still, she would not have rushed to the carcass like a weak and mindless thing.
She sat upon her haunches, looking at the steaming innards of the deer before leaning in without a care to the blood and gore to begin dragging out the liver with a satisfied growl. She would share a portion of it with him, she decided. There was no need to be greedy; they had the whole deer to themselves, after all. Her fangs tore into the soft organ, bountiful in its gifts, and she couldn't stop the humming growl deep within her chest at the pleasure of the feast. Picking it up, she turned and deposited it between them, invitation clear in her eyes when she looked up at him before beginning to devour her portion of the intact organ.
