Does anyone here play I have recently been very interested in the Bass and I really like it. Could anyone suggest a nice beginner Bass that doesnt cost too much I'm low on funds and dont have a job. Damn those drugs.

i play bass. it was my first instrument, then guitar, ukulele, and keyboard.
basically you can find a lot of nice one for between $150-$200. music123.com has a good selection and has free shipping on items over $100. i think you can find a lot of starter packs for about $100. just look around

Any music store you enter should have a beginner line of basses to choose from. And chances are, if you are serious about playing then a beginner bass isn't going to define you for very long. So, really it doesn't matter what bass to get. Learn on any cheapy. But when you decide to spend the money on a real bass you will always regret not spending the extra cash on a top of the line product.
