Prompts
Fire bird Well, someones quite the entertainer! How does this little bundle of sunshine feel about being in the spotlight? And what does he do to keep everyone entertained?
Polar bubbles It's not easy being bi-polar, especially when your alone. But she wasn't always this way....What happened? Did she have offspring that died, mates that left, family?
Water heart Woohoo! Someone's got a crush, it's big, and she'll do anything to get them. So question is...whose the lucky (or unlucky) beaut'? And why them?
Singing in the rain The voice of the Angels comes naturally to this male. Unfortunately, he's so dark hardly anyone pays attention. Describe an instance where the whole pack gets to hear him.

Oh yes, it's ladies night~ Username: An Original Username Dragon's name: Ciara Livnath Dragon's rank: Guard Prompt response:
Prompt - Polar Bubbles It's not easy being bi-polar, especially when your alone. But she wasn't always this way....What happened? Did she have offspring that died, mates that left, family?
The sky had not yet become completely dark. It still bordered on the edge of sunset and dusk. It was the midpoint, much like herself. The weather had still been pleasant as of late, but as the day drew to a close and the night began to commence, a chill wind blew over the mountains and the valley, mingling with the warm air to create an odd sensation... much like herself.
A heavy sigh escaped her lips as she gazed longingly as the evening sky. Her ear flicked back unconsciously as a small fly buzzed past her, but she drew no attention to it. She was engrossed in the awe-inspiring sight before her. Dozens, then hundreds, then thousands of stars began to dot the night sky. She sat alone, silently watching this spectacle. Her heart felt much less weighted whenever she observed such ordinary phenomena as day turning to night. The stars were so reassuring, so constant... much unlike herself.
Indeed, she was aware that she stood out from the rest of the pack. She was an outcast. A separate entity altogether. Not only was her coat frowned upon, her own personality was, as well. She did not blame them for their reasoning... No, she did blame them! She hated them! How dare they alienate her for something out of her control? Something as trivial as the color of her coat... No, no, they had every reason to act that way. It was their culture. It was her fault for imposing on that. But...! But...
Ciara's eyes shut tight and her jaw clamped. Her tail was lashing side to side in a rage. "Stop it, stop it, stop it!" Her mind felt like it was exploding. Blindly, she staggered over to a nearby dying tree and, with her fangs and her claws, ripped off a sizable branch and threw off of the cliff she had been sitting near. She was panting as she watched the branch tumble down into the valley, endlessly, endlessly, until it was out of sight. Her clashing thoughts of forgiveness and vengeance swirled and collided in her subconscious as she sat back down on her haunches, lifting her head to gaze at the sky once more. Slowly, her mind cleared.
As the stars inched their way across the cosmos and the light began to fade, Ciara Livnath thought to herself. She thought of the other dragons in the pack... Of all of the happy families and happy friends. She thought of the young dragons just finding their own places in the pack and doing something good for it. She thought of the happy and proud faces of the parents of those dragons. Parents... Did she ever have parents? Did she ever have a mother to hold her close, or a father to teach her about the world? It was so long ago...
Memories began to flood back into her mind. She recalled a warm scent... a comforting warmth. A feeling of pure joy and love. Love.... Yes, that sensation was one she remembered clearly. It was one of the few that her mind allowed her to recall. That memory of a deep love. Her own love... The memory was happy. She was happy back then. And yet, whenever that blissful memory came to mind, the horrible one came along with it. Her love, her mate... A loud strike of lightning piercing the cold, dark night... The sound of a mighty tree snapping and tumbling down to the ground, down on top of...
Among the memories came pain, and from that pain, the conflicting feelings. She wanted to die, but she needed to live on, for herself and for him... She hated him for leaving her alone, but she continued to love and forgive him. She wanted to destroy... She wanted to create something new, to move on... And from all of that, the her that was present and alive now came.
Another cold wind blew across the mountains, chilling Ciara to the bone. She shuddered and gazed back upward. The stars were still whirling overhead. Always constant, never changing... How she wished she could be that way... No! She was fine the way she was now! She need change for no one! Not for the other dragons, not for any enemies, not even for herself! Why should she change...? Unable to take the thoughts any longer, Ciara shook her head and started back towards the rest of the pack, trying, and failing, to leave her pain behind her. Extra: As far as love interests go, I can see her being with Libitina. That girl needs more plotting. Even besides that, Libitina could help her by being as patient as possible with her and tolerating her lashing emotions. Having someone with her at all could probably help, as well.
