A life Debt: ( Thanks to Dreamer for retrieving this )
*This is an OLD RP between GunSniper and Dreamer. Pardon the Typos and what not.

Sniper:

The land was full of rocks, sand and cliffs. A small village nested safely under the overhang of the cliff. Not a single zoid rest in this area, but it was full of people. Not primitive, just people who would have nothing to do with zoids. It was almost morning The sun only a few hours from showing its face.
A small boy play just outside of the village with a red ball. He was only five and alone His red hair was in a crew cut and he wore nothing but sandals, a red tank top and denim shorts. A wide smile on his face as he tossed the ball up and down. Why the boy was out so early.... no one really knows.

Dreamer:

A Lone Figure emerged from the dissolute surroundings of the small village, he had been walking for quite some time, but fugitive didn't show on him. His complexion was emotion less as if in deep thought, and unaware of his surroundings. It was a false luxury he couldn't afford it, after all he was on the run; he had been for almost three years now.
He carried nothing; his hands rested at his sides hanging out side his pockets by each thumb. His green goggles coved his longing crimson eyes to protect them from the sand that would occasionally blast up agents his fit build. His abdomen was bandaged up with white strips of cloth with a hint of a dark red decorating in few areas. Hardly coved up by his open short red vest he wore. His blue tattered jeans ruffled slightly in the clam wind, as his white crimson tipped hair collected small amounts of sand.

Look up and off in to the distance he could make out the silhouette of the town in front of the over hang, and to be what look like a small child playing with a round object, up, and down, up, and down. The child look to be having fun, Arch with his keen eye sight even in such lighting could make out a smile on the child face as he continued toward the quite village. Arch Loyalguard

Sniper:
The small child looked up as he saw the large man heading for the village. With a giggle he waved to the shaded man. His mother had taught him to always be kind to strangers... always..
The ball dropped to the ground and stuck into the sand rolling slightly over. All knowledge of the ball had slipped this young kids mind as he looked at the approaching stranger.

Dreamer;

-A kid out side...at this time?...Hmph,Not too safe...But what is now a days. - Arch thought as his expression remain the same, clam and steady.

Acknowledging the small child he didn't return his wave, except he made a nodding gesture. His pace didn't slow or quicken it didn't matter any other way too him; as he continued toward to what he could make out was a boy.

Sniper:
The kid quickly retrieved his ball, having to stop waving as he did. The ball had to be held in both of his tiny hands.

"Arc... " An echoed voice whispered over the canyon. It's base sound was hard to detect.

It was a female voice, but at the same time it didn't even sound human. There was a clicking noise soon following the voice.

Dreamer:

Stopping in shear astonishment Arc look up from the boy as he heard his name echoed from the canyon. The voice was unfamiliar to him, his face became concerted as he tried to place the sounds location it was almost like there wasn't one. Eyes alert and flashing around as if to see someone other then the boy. He parted his feet to a more steady and prepared stance, as quietly as he could he drew his goggles back to rest on his floor head, his eyes still flicked cautiously around. What could it be? It was female, but that was even hard to make out. Slowly and quietly Arc motion his hand to his dagger that rested on his left side and back. He couldn't have been fallowed so far? it was unreal even for him.

-is it even human...why?...No, they couldn't possibly have fallowed me so far-

Sniper:

The boy was suddenly full of fear, every inch of his body shook. His mouth opened to usurer out a scream, but nothing came out. He turned around and begun to run back to his village... but he would never make it.

In an instant the boy's head was no more. Several silent rounds whispered through the air as the boy was flung forward.

"Arc Loyalguard... You now stand before The Judge and The Jury... how do you pleaded?..." The voice hissed.

Not even a shadow revealed the location of this person still.

Dreamer:

-That Boy!- Arc quickly drew his dagger hand clasped it agents his arm as he jumped back. Not like that was going to save him agents a Zoid
-Those rounds I could barely hear them!- Arc watched in horror as the boy was flung through the air headless. Still not seeing anyone not even a shadow of a Zoid let lone a feeling to one. Arc had a strange ability that allowed him to usually sense the presences of Zoids.
-Where...where are you?-

Arc remind silent as the Voice called to him once more. Of all times to come in contact with a hostile whatever it is especially him being Zoid less. And his lower abdomen hurting more then usual.

sniper:

"Do you not wish to plead? Plead your case or I shall pass the judgment on you now boy... I know what you did, there is no hiding the past Arc Malin Loyalguard."
The Judge hissed again. Her voice had not changed in anger or delight.

Dreamer:

Arc made a shallow growl as he gritted his teeth. No living person knows of that day, how could possibly she know of it.

"Judge not, unless you be judged!" Arc called out unemotionally. He didn't care life or death, it would have the same resolve to him. Sniper:

Sniper:

A strange silhouette appeared behind him, away from the city. It had the ears of a cat, but the eyes of a demon. The crimson glow of the eyes pierced through the dark. They were not of human eyes.

"Than I pass. Hear me now! The Jury seek judgment on you... YOU are here by guilty of murder..."

There was a low growl seemed like it was coming from the figure. This was beastly, like a tiger. It was hard to tell the source due to the canyon's walls. Lights begun to glow from the houses in the village.

"I am the Judge... Only one may judge me..."

Dreamer:

Arc heard the figure approach from behind and he relaxed but remained ready it wasn't a Zoid that reassured him he was trained for melee combat. He was still puzzled by the fact that this Judge knew his past and his name

"I am Innocent...by His Grace. But Guilty to you and this world." He made a short quite laugh before responding his voice still heald the Detachment as before but it had became more quite and clam. Smoothly Arc replace his dagger back to its sheaf as he still faced the Village he didn't even look back once at his accuser.

"But what of the Boy? Was he not innocent."

Sniper:

"It is best you not face your death..." She hissed with a hint of delight trailing on her words. There was another clicking noise.
She completely ignored the comment about the young boy. He was out alone in the dark... it was his own stupidity that got him there as far as every one knows.

"As did she..." She added in a monotone voice.

Dreamer:

Arc he was filled with pity for them and the boy as gazed at the glows of the village he hoped for them to stay sleeping it wasn't safe. But it wouldn't matter if this Judge would decide to go on a rampage and kill everyone. And Arc knew this; if it would sort to as such he would fight back even if he was Zoidless at the moment.

Arc's whole body tensed up as she motioned the last statement. So she did know, how was it possible no one alive could know of the day and of Songbird, no one...yet this figure does. Tightening his fist he felt his stomach drop. Making a grunt any sign of not showing emotion was abounded right there. His eyes widen as a picture of Songbrids lifeless body resting in his arms passed through his mind he was speechless, dumbfounded. His Abdomen and chest felt a surge of pain as his muscles tightened around the residing areas of his wound. It was a while before he could finally responded.

"Song...Bird..." His voice was a bit shaky. "How do you know of her!" Arc whip around to face the figure all shakiness had disappeared and was replaced with anger, his eyes looked so unforgiving as he spoke.

Sniper:

The Judge only chuckled darkly at his response. It bring joy to her black heart to see such a reaction. It was what she expected from him.

"I know... Arc... I told you. I know everything. There is no hiding it from me or anyone anymore." She again spoke with her monotone voice.

The slight wind in the canyon ruffled around her cloak a bit, but still revealed nothing about her. her eyes flashed as she stared into his eyes. It was enough to drive any one insane. This thing that stood in front of him did not seem human at all.

"It is your fault she is dead Arc Loyalguard."

Again the clicking noise echoed throughout the canyon and more lights flickered on in the village, but no one came out yet.

"And it is your fault again... the boy. But do not worry for him. His family will soon join him, as... will... you." As she spoke this time her right hand begun to raise into the air, her eyes flashed again. She had claws? Again, the shadows reveled nothing of this monster.

Dreamer:
Arc still had hatred in his eyes as he stared in to the glowing eyes of The Judge, the flicking only seemed to cases him to detested her more if you can call her as such. He felt anger. An anger that he never wished to show, but it reflected in his whole posture. The wind kicked up sand agents the back of him, he didn't seem to acknowledge to sting sensation it cause agents bare skin. -...I didn't mean...everyone I get close too...dies...- Arc agents his will start to shake at the figure's words. It was true the death of Songbird, the boy, it seem like everyone he came into contact with experienced some sort of pain and mostly death.

The clicking noise puzzled him as he tried to figure what it maybe, but his train of thought was amerced with the pain of reality.

" I am guilty, of the crimes stated! So let Judgment befall me!" Arc growled but his voice was pleading as he looked back at the village. Which was a mistake to take his eyes off his prosecutor in fount of him "And spare them!' his pleading became despite as he curling his fists he realized his mistake but it was too late for him to correct it now.

Sniper:

As he fingers spread apart a LARGE glowing ball appeared over the canyon.
She chuckled darkly at him, than became serious once again.

"I gave you your chance to plead... but that is over now. Face judgment boy."

Still no one came out from their homes, screams of little children echoed thought the village, but not a single adult.

Blaze's ears perked up as he speed in canyon in a desperate dash back to his pilot. There was another Zoid on radar! The Village under the Cliffs was quickly approaching... Blaze had not known of this place, he took a different rout the last time.

Dreamer:

Arc looked up as the glow above the village started to appear, his Crimson eyes widened in desperation as he heard the children scream. So there was a Zoid on the cliff, he had to act even if it meant forcefully stopping the threat even if he was without his partner, Whisper. Not to mention it annoyed him that she would referred to him as a boy, he was twenty-four, far from boy-hood or so he thought

With out saying a word his eyes flicked back at towards The Judge, as he quickly whipped around as he drew his dagger and made a attempt to slash at woman.
-...Demon!...-

Sniper:

The Judge moved to the side, every movement in the shadow. The ball above head only grew and begun to hum with energy. A soft lavender glow filled the upper canyon.

The judge brought her hand down to the side only to grab at his in an attempt to throw him to the ground. Her arms were covered in black armor with sharp claws on the ends. Every inch of her body was covered up and difficult to see with the black. The shadows faded any color on her "face" but the white...

"Foolish boy. The Jury has yet to pass my judgment.... and I, I will now leave you with your mark. " She hissed as she grabbed for him.

Dreamer:

t was a foolish and desperate attack on Arc's movement, he was freely off balance because of his unprepared sweep, impulse had gotten the best of him and he would pay for it. Surprised at her quick movement and a quick reaction he caught a glimps of her 'face'. It was white almost completely with the exception of her glowing eyes. Was she even there. He would find that answer quickly as he felt her sharp claws dig into his skin as he was grabbed. Grunting there was nothing he could think of, his mind was numb. He couldn't think properly everything was as if he was watching a slow moving movie.

-... How?!...-

Sniper:

The Judge brought her other hand up to his right cheek and begun to cave a deep cross into his flesh. As she did this her grip increased on his wrist.

"We will let this decide weather you shall face your fate now..."

Blaze begun to pass the city, not through it but rather to the side of it. He did not know what any of the small noises were, and didn't care to stop and find out. He felt it best to get out of there before anything could happen... He was getting a strong reading from the other Zoid in the area.

Dreamer:

Hitting the ground pinning his own right arm. Arc was almost immanently blinded by the sand that was kicked up.He felt his face being pressed deeper into the barren surroundings. A shock of pain shot up his chest as ever muscle in his body seem to tightened as he felt the coolness of his attackers claw dig into his heated face. The Screams echoed in his ears as the ball of energy was about to caste judgment on the innocent ones; defenseless in there town. There was another Zoid close Arc could 'feel' it. It felt desperate and confused almost just as he was.

Pain Picked at his face as he closed his eyes, what was this Demon doing to him, it was excruciating! But he wouldn't dare cry out, to show himself at the mercy of her as she dug deeper into his flesh. Closing his eyes didn't help with the pain, nor dissipate the reality of what was happing he couldn't do any thing as the Judge taunted him with every word in mockery. It seemed to last forever, he struggled at first but the pain only grew as he did so. It was crippling he felt his hand start to go numb as her griped seemed to only tighten as he struggled. Would it ever end! A Slight yell escaped his bitten lips and gritted teeth.

Sniper:

The Judge slowly stood up and backed away from Arc. Her handed, now stained in his blood, raised again, but this time quickly shot back down. There was a flash of light as the beam was released on the overhanging cliff.

"It would seem as though your judgment will not be passed today boy... I look forward to our next meeting..." She hissed.

Blaze pulled up to the two just was the light was released. He came to a halt just before he could step on Arc's head.
"Graww?" He questioned as he came to a halt. There was not much time... and he stopped? It puzzled even the Zoid why he did it...

Dreamer:

Arc could feel warm blood start to run down his face as he sat up quickly as he was released. Out of pure instant like beaten animal release from his cage he undid the clip of his vest on the back to revile a grip to a .45 magnum revolver, unhesitant he drew it and pointed it out in the direction of the voice he could barely see as it was. His finger unknowing froze on the trigger; he wouldn't pull it, why? He had all the reason to do so.

His face was illuminated by the Blast that was set lose on the village, reviling a bloody cross that run from he eye to chin like that of a Permanent tear. Streams of blood parted from the 'cross' as if the cross its self was crying, running in to his sliver-white small beard like goatee.

Not turning to the Zoid that was behind him he kept as best as he could eyes on the Judge she seemed to be leaving or so she said. There was nothing he could do for the village now. Breathing heavily his whole body ached from the ordeal. What just happened? Why, did it? His finger shacked on the trigger he couldn?t do it. It was a mystery to him why he couldn't do so still

Sniper:

Blaze took a step back and lowered his head to the man in front of him. The cockpit opened as he did this. Rocks begun to pelt the village, crushing houses mercilessly. Blaze knew there was not much time here... He gently poked at the man's back as if pleading him to hurry and get in.
"rrrr..."

The Judge seemed to vanish with the glow from the beam. The shadows working in her favor once again. Her dark chuckle echoed through the canyon as the rocks rode down. There was a hiss of steam coming from the top of the canyon a few moments after the fade.

Dreamer:

Arc eyes soon focused, he noticed the figure only known as the Judge had disappeared and only her dark chuckle remained. Dropping his straighten out arm onto his lap. He missed his chance to reason with his finger to pull the trigger and shot at that wicked Demon. Rocks began to drop but he didn?t seem to care. His face Burned and felt sticky, Getting nudged in the back he look up and back and at first angrily to notice a Gunsniper had its cockpit open to him he had totally forgot about him. No way was this a Pilot less Zoid it had a partner. Arc could tell that Gunsniper wanted him to get in that much was for sure and obvious. It was pleading for him to do so or so that's what Arc felt.

Standing to his feet with out a sound, he slip his knife back to his sheaf and returned his gun to it?s holster. He had no time to collect him self this Zoid need him, Arc didn?t know why but something was wrong.

"Alright then." Arc faced the Zoid and rested his hand on its 'nose' His voice was strangely clam considering to what just happened.

Arc had always had a strange ability to understand Zoids, Possible for such low human contact as he grew up he felt so much more accepted by the Zoids rather then humans. He dusted him self quickly off be for hoping into the cockpit of the Zoid. His movements were almost robotic as he did so, Arc could change tracks quickly but the thoughts still haunted him as did the pain that stretched across his face.

Sniper:
Blaze IMMEADIALTY took off as Arc jumped into his head. HE closed the Cockpit door as the booster switched on. There was another quick glow as another beam finished off what the rocks could not.
Inside the cockpit there was already reminisce of blood from another and a Zoid Battle Commission ID. "Team Impulse" is what it said.
This Blade GunSniper was of one of the two pilots from the A rank battles. The odd team with members from different sides of the war.

Blaze had nearly forgotten about his own pilot... again. But rather picked up the signal from the other zoid. It was charging up... They would have been hit.

Dreamer:

Arc was lunged into the cockpit seat as the Gunsniper boosted off and a shock of pain shot up his side from his old wound from three years past. His white bandages were red in areas that weren?t there before his struggle with Judge.

It took only a moment to get his eyes focused to the lighting form the controls. Scan the pit he spotted the blood it was older from him. -Was? Is? Someone injured? Maybe his pilot.- Arc's crimson eyes move from the blood as his eyes caught the sight of the tag.

"Team Impulse...huh" Arc whispered as he settled himself properly in the set and rested tattered arm across his stomach where his bandages resided. Arc flopped his head agents the back of the seat, as he did a drop of blood landed on his rested hand. It had stopped hurting the cut that would become his 'mark' a scar. He drew his non-grabbed hand to his face hesitant at first. He hadn't the slightest idea how gruesome it looked. He instead of feeling it out he pulled his hand back. Reaching that same hand in to his pouch on his right he felt around for a cloth, finding it he pulled it out and bung it to his face. Starting from his chin he whipped the side and upward to clear his face of blood. It stung as he did so, but he didn't stop until the wetness was off of his face, he could feel bits of sand scratched agents his already scared face. Satisfied, he replaced the cloth in the bag. The cut was deep, and long it felt as if it was a cross of some sort. Not caring to retest this idea he let out a sigh as he tired to place what just happened, he stared to close his eyes but it hurt to do so, as he felt a pulling on the right side of his face it happen as he spoke too. So he remind quite. Before breathing a few last words.
"Thank you..." his life was left to this unknown Zoid that needed his help. Closing his eyes his body was maxed, beaten and tired

Sniper:
Blaze leapt up the side of the canyon, shifting his boosters to full power as he alternated sides of the canyon walls. When he shot over the wall he immediately shifted course away from the canyon and the other zoid, who seemed to have disappeared. His boosters cut off as well.

"Grawr..." He mumbled.

If any reason to keep this human in his cockpit it was because of his own pilot. She did have the little red zoid thing, but he was crazy... That was the only thought keeping Blaze from ejecting this new guy out of his head... It was almost too awkward for him.

*"Damnit, Nicki, what's wrong? I'm not in the best situation right now."*
He replayed the message in his head from earlier that night.
The womans voice from this message seemed quite stressed and aggravated.

If anything, Kyrea's voice in his head helped with the awkward-ness of having another pilot in his head...

Dreamer:
Arc open his left eye, and keep his right closed; it seemed to help in not aggravating the cut on his face, as he heard the recording. -You don't like it that I'm in here. Do you?- for some strange reason that's the feeling that Arc keep getting ever since he first sat down. He didn't blame the Zoid; it was understandable. Whisper would have flipped to have anyone, but Cross or him in his cockpit. He was grateful to this GunSniper for doing as such even if it was for his own gain or that of maybe someone else's.

"Forgive me..." Arc looked down at his hand and arm that rested on his wound there was still a red outline from the hand that had pinned him down while she dugged unto his face to carve out his 'mark' or so she called it, he apologized though he didn?t totally understand what was happening.

"Your partner...'Nicki'... is it? Has something happened to him or her?" he added after a bit, his voice was soothing even though he him self wasn?t in such a state. Arc asked softy, making a wild guess. Something was wrong but he didn't have the total understanding of what.

Sniper

Blaze growled in a low tone confirming Arc's assumption. As he thought more about the situation his boosters flickered on again increasing his speed to max. There was something wrong with his pilot, there was something wrong with having this pilot in his head... That was his own conclusion.

"Rawg..." he mumbled as he tried to go any faster.
In the distance a forest-like area just barely peaked over the horizon.

A screen popped up in front of Arc. A lock on-like cross appeared in the middle of the forest on the screen. He zoomed in as close as possible, there one could just barely make out the armor of the red organoid. It was like a tiny red dot on the screen, one Blaze highlighted with the cross.

Dreamer:

"hmm..." Arc said nothing as the zoid answered him that’s all he needed to know. Someone was in trouble, and needed help. And this Zoid went so far as let a complete and total stranger into his pit to save/help his partner. That’s something to cherish.-if that’s the case...- Arc looked at his bag again he only had a little bit of medical supplies remaining he was planning to stock back up but it never happened. His own wounds would have to wait. Arc wasn't looking forward to meeting another person so quickly after what just happened. But the person was in some sort of trouble and need help. Arc would never turn his back on someone to leave him or her to die. He did after all he did owe this Zoid some sort of pay for saving his life.

Arc looked up from his bag and at the screen as it popped up.- is that?..- Arc opened his other eye and looked close at the screen -a...Zoid!?...it’s so...small...to big for a min. Zoid. But to small for ah...- looking up Arc noticed that they were approaching the wood like terrain. Fast.

Sniper:
Again there was a nudging on Nick's arm. Kagi must be at it again. The sun was starting to rise up in the east.
"What now?" She groaned.

"Gwar... Gra rrrrawar!" Kagi seemed to be excited about something, really excited. With each nudge he pushed harder and harder until he got Nick's full attention.

Nicky looked back at the organoid with quite a struggle, her arm was torn to shreds still. Better wrap that up. Why she just NOW thought of it? Who knows, she wasn't thinking to begin with.
"Hey, Kagi...Help me rip a piece off my coat." She struggled with every word.
She tried to scoot her good hand under herself for a boost up but it was a failure. Nicky growled as she kept failing her attempt to get back up.

Kagi moved to Nick's other side and used his nose as a prop. He pushed up slowly so that he could prop her against the tree again.
"Gwar rawr graa grag."
Something was going on; they couldn't stay here much longer.
____________________________________________________________

Blaze turned off his boosters not far from the woods. He didn't want to risk running over his pilot. There had been several times where he had nearly done that... Cautiously he weaved in and out of the trees. It scared him to see that there had been other Zoids in the area and by the prints, not too long ago.
The screen remain open and as they drew closer the red dot could be made out a bit better. Blaze changed the view on the screen to an infrared scanner. It was a Zoid? Larger than a human, sleek, and sharp. Along side of that there was a weaker thing on the screen, limply propped up against the tree.
In front of the two there were piles of something... quickly cooling. Those were impossible to make out.

The sun was just starting to rise over the horizon. The darkness of the night was slowly lightening up to a soft blue grey. In the wood that blue changed to a soft green.

Dreamer:

- strange...its a zoid alright...that must be the polit...- Arc figured that the limp body was this zoid's pilot, he couldn't even make out the other piles. The other Zoid caught his eye though, he had never seen such a creature before it strangely gave him a small urge to want to have it-what was he thinking you don't own a zoid it's a equal partner ship. The zoid chose to stay with its partner. You can't own such a thing.

Arc tried to collect himself. to be prepared for anything he could afford another innocdent like before, the though of that white face if you can call as such hunted him though to whole thing was becoming a distant memory. strangely. But he would never forget after such a thing and the cut he boar he couldn't. I was the same with Songbird. Arc looked down at his abdomen again, He wish to though the dreams still haunted him and the pain more then physical. It was as if that woman that called her self a Judge ripped deeper into a already open wound.

Sniper:

Nick could make out Blaze's bulky figure from amongst the blur of colors.
"Blaze... Where have... you been..." She tried to sound excited to see him. It was hard to sound more than exhausted through the gasping.

Blaze lowered his head, opening the Cockpit as he did. The screen video disappeared just before the cockpit stated to open.

With a low growl Kagi moved defensively in front of Nick. The Zoids was not alone, he brought more of those dangerous strangers with him. He wanted to do in his own pilot? Not if Kagi had anything to do with it.
"GRAWWR!"

Dreamer:

Making a small grunt Arc hoped out of the pit swiftly though it hurt to do so, he wouldn't show it he always tried to hide the fact that his lower torso was all ripped up under the bandages and he was vary good at it. Landing he didn't make a sound as he hit the ground he barely even made a crouching motion as he did so. Straightening up, Arc let out a heavy breath. It ached, his whole body; he had walked all day and was attack by that demon. And now he faced this Zoid.

Arc didn't take a step back as that red Zoid growled and made a defensive stance. He wasn't intimidated by it. His whole body was relaxed and he started to the pilot who still seemed to be concessions. He approached the zoid not planning to stop. The only thing that 'scared’ him was the fact that the idea of pulling out his magnum and shooting the defenseless pilot had slid into his mind; as Arc stared into the Zoids eyes with his own clam but still longing eyes. It was so strange to how calm Arc was. Though this threatening Zoid stood in his path and would attack him with out a second though. He knew this as he felt it.

Sniper:

The organoid growled again at Arc. His lime green eyes flashing with a kill lust. There was something about those eyes, not only a kill lust hid behind them, but a great greed as well. Just behind them was the mass remains of two people this creature had had his way with.

Nick tried to make out a face on the person who had just leapt out of Blaze. He must have been out looking for people, it was odd he let a stranger in his cockpit. If anyone She would have thought Blaze would have brought back Kyrea.

"Blaze... who..." She gasped as she limply grabbed the general's gun with her good hand.

It has still been there since she shot the general... now it would probably do her no good as she couldn't lift it, much less grip it. Maybe this wasn't Blzae, maybe it was some other zoid. Blaze was a one of a kind though. The colors, shape, it looked like him.
It was about this time she was starting to get delusional.

"Imperial... scum...get… away… my … zoi-" Her voice trailed off into unrecognizable mumbling.

A low growl emitted from deep within blaze's metallic throat. He tried to reassure his pilot that he was okay... that the stranger was not "bad".

Dreamer:

-Blaze so that’s his name...- Arc made a long blink as he light shock his head as that horrible thought paired in his mind this time more distanced and almost totally gone. As Arc continued to approach the zoid he held out his arms as if he meant no harm. Stopping he looked from the Zoid to the woman. It was a woman and she looks really thrashed up. - Imperial scum?... a gun...she can't even lift it. She needs more help then what I can give her.-
"You will let me help her, won’t you? " Arc looked back at the zoid with a polite smile one he didn't show too often lately. Arc’s voice was smooth and prepared. Such a pleasant voice but it was hardly heard by human ears.

Sniper:

Kagi took this opportunity to jump at the guy. With his arms out, just like the idiot when he first awoke. Kagi's maw opened wide in sweet hopes to have the man's head in them.
"GRAW!"

Nick only caught the red blur that was her organoid move very quickly before the colors all swirled to black. Her fingers relaxed as she moved back into sleep.

Dreamer:

As the Zoid jumped at Arc he was ready.- fine have it your way…- he was waiting for such an attack. It would hurt him more then the Zoid it's self but it was the only thing he could do in such a short time. His posture remained relaxed as he drop back falling backwards he trusted his foot upward as he fell to carry the zoid over him timing it so that it would hopefully use the own zoids momentum to flip him over his head before hitting the ground.

Sniper:

Kagi flew over this pilot. This he did not expect, every time he jumped at someone they would cringe and he would have his way with them. With a hiss the organoid flipped around and begun to charge while the guy was on the ground. All the time he expected the horror face from this enemy...

Dreamer:
Arc hit the ground hard from the weight of the Zoid heaver then expected. Let out a small 'Gah' sound a shock of pain shot through his body, on the ground he heard the Zoid approaching for another attack. Like a machine with out the emotion of pain he used his hands and arm’s strength to push himself quickly off the ground without the use of his feet. Another stab through his body as he did so; to his feet his back was still turned to the Zoid and he face the Woman-this isn't the time for this! But he won't listen to reason this much I can tell. -

"Stop! This isn’t necessary!" Arc looked over his shoulder at the charging Zoid "Do you want her to live!?" There was a harshness to his voice that as if scolding a child.

The organoid did not care. There was one thing on his mind, kill. With that thought in mind his maw opened wide. Kagi felt lucky that this one didn't move much.

"Grawr..." Blaze mumbled as he moved his foot forward a bit. His big toe raised up as he moved. As Kagi Started to pick up his pace, blaze brought down his big toe. There was a hard *THUNK* noise from the other side.
Blaze's toe was only but a few feet from hitting Arc.

Dreamer:

Arc wasn't expecting for blaze to bring down his foot in such a manner but he didn't flinch once. his breathing was nosier then normal. The ware was starting to show.He was not having the best of days as of late.

"Thank you."Arc breathed as he looked back and up at Blaze with a nod. With out a second more to waste he moved closer to the woman and crouched down in front of her. He didn't look or show it but ever inch of his body was hesitant, and cautious. Not in fear of she might do something to attack him but it was something in him he was always cautious around humans. As if afraid of them knowing him; the only human Arc really could 'relax' around was Cross and even that took along time.

Sniper:

There was a constant thumping sound coming from the other side of Blaze's toe as Kagi tried to ram through... He was managing to dent the larger zoid's armor, but nothing more.

Nick opened her eyes slightly. All she could see was a red blur in front of her.
"Not again... Kagi..." She mumbled as she looked up at Arc.
Her whole left arm was torn and shot up. Any skin color was only visible at the hand, and even than there was some blood stains. Her golden hair obscured and visual of the left side of her face. The sunglasses that were so neatly over her eyes rested on the tip of her nose.

Dreamer:

"..."Arc still keep an eye on her as looked down at her arm it was badly mangled -Kagi...bullet wound...imperial scum...what...happened...- Arc still examined her arm as he reached in his bag to retrieve a roll of bandages material the same that he wore around himself. The roll was low.-this is bad. I can only tape her up...and if I have to...remove bullet and the cloth in her arm...she needs real medical help.- he had to act quick before that Zoid final figures out that he can go around. Lucky he didn't seem vary smart. Gently and reluctantly Arc place his hand on her right cheek to try to get her attention If he could.

"...Listen...I can help, but- I'm afraid it's not the total care you need..."Arc words were still clam but they didn't flow as smoothly as before

Sniper:

Nick tried to focus on the words that were being spoken. What this stranger touching her? This wasn't Kagi.
She could make out that he was saying something about help, and care. But that was all she could make out. Maybe it was Kyrea? Despite the fact this hand was quite larger than Ky's hand and it did sound like it was a man... but in this state she figured anything could happen.
"Kyrea?..."

Kagi became very frustrated as he banged his head on this solid wall of toe. As he did a tiny idea poped in his mind, go OVER the thing...
Like a frog he leapt up the side of the foot, using his boosters to clear it just enough for his head to get over.
-IT'S TOUCHING MY THING!-
But again, before Kagi could violently act, Blaze was a step ahead of him.

Quickly Blaze lifted his other foot and carefully scooted Kagi back to the ground. This again would continue to repeat its self as the organoid just didn't learn quick enough.

Dreamer:
Arc didn't answer her; he figured it would be better if she would think of him as someone she knew. Looking at the arm, and shoulder he could barely make out one entry wound, in the shoulder. if there more he couldn't tell. There was no cloth for the arm that would make it easier- but the shoulder that was another story he would need to cut her outfit a bit to properly address the wound.

Arc acted like he didn't realize the Aggressive Zoid attempting to jump over Blaze. But he was fully awear of what both the Zoids were doing. Blaze was being quite helpful. Arc put the roll of bandages in his mouth careful not to touch the actual bandages. He removed his dagger from his side after taking back his left hand from her cheek.

With his right hand free he as carefully as he could and rested it on her shoulder with the wound, away from the entry of the wound, but still close.

Sniper:
"Don't... say it Ky... They betrayed me.... all that work I did for them...for nothing.... greedy basterds... All over a-" She started to mumble, but it was quickly cut off when she gasped in pain as Arc rest a hand on her shoulder.
There was still that blasted bullet lodged in her arm, she had completely forgot about that.

Kagi was quickly becoming more aggressive and he kept trying to go over the foot. Every single time the large zoid would push him back... Finally after a while he paused just behind the foot again.. Around maybe?
He huffed as he bolted to the side.

Dreamer:
-Forgive me...- Arc clinched his teeth as he heard her grasp. Arc as gently and carefully he brought his dagger under the cloth on he the top of shoulder, lifting up on the blade he ran it through the material the blade it’s self was so sharp it was gliding through the cloth as if it was water, not a part of the blade touched her skin as he did so. he cut the cloth all the way to revile her skin of neck he move his right hand to keep the cloth from moving too far down, though a man and perfectly straight he was a respectful one.
-Heh...so he catching on...just a little longer Blaze-

Sniper:
Nick had stopped mumbling after the gasp. She instead relaxed a bit, closing her eyes. This wasn't Kyrea... no, the hands were too big. That bit of reality did hit, but as for who it was, she didn't care... If they were out to kill her she would die here anyways.

Blaze scooted his foot forward as Kagi tried to move around. Kagi kept moving back and fourth so blaze kept moving his foot to match pace with the red organoid.

Dreamer:

Arc move the daggers tip to the entry where the bullet his he frowned slightly - It's still in there...- He glanced up at the woman with his crimson eyes. Vary lightly tap the flat side of the dagger blade tip as if to tell her what he was about to get the bullet and for her to be ready for it. Arc looked back down at her wound as he Gently and surprisingly quickly he bore in to her shoulder to retrieve the bullet. He move, it quickly out of her shoulder, the faster the better and in hopes of getting the cloth that was with the bullet.

Arc pulled back the blade and the bullet rested on the tip of the slightly bloody dagger. It wobbled only for a bit. He brought it close to inspect it the bullet remained still on the blade as he did. Arc had a steady hand and was apparently skilled with a blade. - its still on the bullet...good- Arc was referring to the bit of clothing that stuck to the bullet's head, it hadn't came with the bullet he would have to try again. But thankfully that wasn't the case. Arc with the dagger still in hand as he balanced the bullet, he quickly reached in to his bag and retrieved that same cloth as before and grab the bullet and pinched it in the cloth and cleaned his blade with it in two quick swipes; before replacing the cloth with the bullet in his bag. Sheathing his dagger. He looked back at the wound, he could wrap it now. He grabbed the bandage roll from his mouth with his left hand.

Sniper:
Nick leaned her head back and grit her teeth as the blade entered her flesh. She wanted to scream, but that just didn't come out. The only sound that made it out was a low hiss and a grunt.

Kagi finally took a large leap into the air, turning his boosters on as he did. This shot him over the large toe. His feet Kicked out as he readied to land on the ground just behind the intruder.

Dreamer:

Arc stopped what he was doing when he heard the boosters of the Zoid turn on and he looked back over his shoulder. It was going to land right behind him. If he moved, the craze and not to bright Zoid would probably just end up mauling her instead of him. And he couldn't move her, not yet she still needed to be bandaged. He could tell that this was not going to be a good day for him.

Sniper:
Kagi landed with a thud. Snarling wildly at the intruder.
-How DARE you touch MY things!!- Kagi thought to himself as he kicked up dirt with his feet.
His lime green eyes flashed as the blood lust grew within him.

"Run...fool... he wants... you" Nick mumbled as she heard Kagi again. He, Kagi, had attacked anyone who came close. If she ever made it through this, she would have to teach him.

Dreamer:

Arc calmly set the roll down just before he stood up and turned around to face the blood lusted Zoid.
"Is that right...You want me?" he spoke as if he didn't care to die. His voice still had that same calmness in it, but it also held detachment in it also. He wasn't trying to taunt the Zoid but merely ask a question.

Sniper:

Kagi charged forward at the man. Again, there was little movement from the enemy. His maw opened wide as again he wished to have that man's flesh in his jaws. Greed was very powerful in this one's eyes...
-MINE!-

Blaze looked toward the two, there was little he could do with Kagi so close to the two humans... If he tried his foot again he would surely stomp on them.
"Grawr" He hissed at the Organid, but it wouldn't listen.

Dreamer:

There was something about those eyes...something that cause him to hesitate in acting vary briefly. It was the same attack as before, but Arc couldn't counter the same way as before; the woman was still there, behind him. – those eyes…-

Acting quickly after the little stall, Arc was still able to duck under the bite as he did, his stance changed from the previously relaxed to a firm and stead one. In a swift movement as he move his body sideways as he ducked under he pulled free his dagger and flipped it so the blade sharp side rested agents his flesh. And he move in an attempt to rest the non-sharp end of the blade under were the Zoid's 'neck' would be and pushed upward. As if to say ‘I could of had you, right there. But chose not to take it’

Sniper:

Kagi thrust his head forward to press the blade end of the sharp object into the man's flesh. This creature was made of something more than steel and he would prove it to this enemy. At the same time he brought up his foot and spread apart his sharp claws.
Though he could not communicate with the human, it was obis by his greedy eyes that he was mocking him.
-You can't kill me, but I can you-
"grawr!"

Dreamer:

Arc Growled softy as the blade entered his flesh.-He really wants me dead.- Arc, with same arm that was cut by his own blade tried to wrap around the neck of the Zoid as he dropped the blade so not to cut in to himself anymore. His first plan had backfired he prayed for this one not. He couldn't move backward for the woman’s sake so why not forward. With the attempt Arc pressed forward as if to pull the Zoid back wards it would be easy with one of the Zoid's foot in the air.

Sniper:
Just as Arc moved he brought his foot down in a missed attempt to slice a hole through. With the enemy wrapped around his neck now and forcing him to move forward, Kagi's anger rose again. As wanted he moved forward toward the piles that were once human, but at an increasing pace. When Blaze's foot was past he ducked his nose under his arms and kicked off with his feet. This caused him to flip over...
So angered he could not tell if the man had jumped off or not.

Dreamer:

On the Zoids back; Arc's attempt to pull The Zoid down by the neck failed. He was too strong even for Arc. Grunting Arc could feel the Zoid was about to flip. Letting go of his neck Arc crouched on the Zoids back and then Pressed off with his feet. Just before the Zoid had flipped.

Arc landed easily on his feet. A surge of pain ran trough his body causing him to drop to one knee and hand his other, clinched his Abdomen. Arc looked at the woman. He was more fearful that her own Zoid would crushed her, then the physical pain he was feeling or would feel. That was the rules, Always. Others before himself. But none before Him. He needed to get back to her, but that thickheaded Zoid was making it hard for him and wouldn't allow him to get close to her, and it was only because of Blaze that he could get to her earlier. - How am I suppose’ to...Agha. Is it just over protective or just stupid...- Arc breath had became heavy, but he tried not to show it. This was too much, one thing after another.

Sniper:

Kagi rolled to his feet quickly. With each moment the Zoids attacks were becoming quicker and much more aggressive.
Like a bull, Kagi kicked up dust, ready to charge again.

With a long draw out sigh, Blaze lifted his toe again. But before he could bring it down this time he had to let the other pilot know. He was in the way this time.
"Gwar.."
Kagi was too involved with wanting to kill this man to notice Baze and his toe.

Dreamer:

Arc made his way to his feet it was getting harder to get up after each action. He looked back at the Zoid. He was getting faster and it was going to be a problem. Only if he could have rested before this.

Arc looked up at blaze as he 'spoke' Arc nodded with a rare smile, showing that he understood. Grunting Arc hopped back and out of the way.

Sniper:

As before Blaze brought down his foot as the organoid charged forward. *thunk* Came from the other side as Kagi collided again with the toe. It was the same as before.

"GRAWWWARR!!" Kagi roared out in frustration.

Dreamer:

As Arc landed he didn't hesitate to see if the Zoid was stopped. The ‘Thunk’ was reassuring enough. Arc turned around to care for the woman picking up the roll before crouching down in front of her aging. He had to hurry that slow Zoid was learning. Arc undid the bandages; and vary gently he begun to wrap up the woman’s wounded shoulder. Being sure to do it carefully. -So many...scars...- Arc had noticed them before but he really hadn't 'looked', now he had no choice but to notice them as he Wrapped her up. It's not that Arc couldn't understand the concept of not getting scars. He too had many, strangely on his left side too. From the battles. But manly for that horrifying day years ago. Many un-healed. But she was a woman.... But also from what he could gather, a soldier. Maybe not anymore. Just like him. But he still had a hard time grasping it; he wasn't that he male prideful or anything-this pointless War was taking so much, Enemy or ally it’s all the same. Someone fighting for what they believe in and think is right.

Sniper

Nick opened her eyes again. She was starting to get used to the coming in and out of consciousness. Her sapphire eyes got a good look at the blur in front of her.
She let out a soft chuckle before closing her eyes again.
"I guess... I should say.... thank you.... but you... should still.. run. That... organoid... is blood thirsty.... if you haven't already figured it out." Every word she struggled on. Her breaths becoming deeper as she spoke. It wasn't a good idea to speak, but at this point she didn’t care.

Furiously Kagi tried to jump, run, and ram through the big toe that obscured his path. Blaze had quickly learned all his tricks and countered every one of them.
This was NOT helping his mood.

Dreamer:..." Arc stopped wrapping as she spoke as if she was going to do something, but then he continued to wrap taking extra care around the entry wound and made sure it was heavy wrapped there.
"shhh...you shouldn't speak." Arc was hesitant at speaking but it was important. His voice was harsh in any way but actually vary soothing and nice sounding. His breathing, he hid the heaviness of it and it seemed normal. Though his body was still aching. Arc tied off her shoulder; as he did a small stream of blood slid out ot the cut in his arm, the cut its self was to deep for him to feel any pain from it as of now. The roll of bandages was getting be low it looked as if it would only take a few more warps before it was gone. He looked down at her arm, it was severely mangled - that Zoid..an organiod?- Arc glance at Blaze's toe out the corner of his eye; he was keeping him at bay.-Good boy...-

" Your...arm...it might hurt a bit..." Arc didn't want her to respond, he just wanted to let her know, before hand that he was going to start with it.

Sniper:

"It has... been hurting for a long time...." She spoke more to herself than the man in front of her. It had been a while since that terrible day, but She could still remember what had happened almost clearly.
Slowly she dragged her hand off of the gun. It was of no use, and this person wasn't much of a threat, at least he didn't seem like one.

Dreamer;
m..." Arc didn't respond to her If he did she would speak, it was more for her good. -a long time...- He wasn't trying to seem inconsiderate but, he didn't want to involve her anymore then he need to. It was the same with everyone he meet. He didn't want anyone to hurt because of him again. Alone. It was safer for others the only one that he was remotely around was Cross, but that was a different case Cross needed him. And Cross would just keep fallowing him around anyway. And prying into him. Eh....that kid wouldn’t let him be alone as long as he was around to bug him.

Arc as gently as he could lifted her arm, he held it steady. The less movement the better. His grip was light as he begun to wrap it. It looked bad. As he continued to wrap he begun to think he was going to get he out of here, he couldn't leave her. He needed to make sure that she was cared for. Were would he take her. Arc quickly when around her arm with the roll, he could only double wrap it before having just enough to tie it off.

Sniper:

Nick became silent again, this time she did not slip out of consciousness, but rather thought about things. Her eyes did open after a few moments. She tried to put a face on this person rather than a bunch of blurs.

Kagi finally took a long pause. Nothing was working. His feet scratched mercilessly at the ground as he tried to come up with a way to get what he wanted.

Dreamer:

Tying off her bandage on her arm the right side of his face was shown more visible then it had been. The bleeding cross that still and forever remind a permanent Tear on his face still ran blood, but not enough to fall free from his face. The tattoo, of a strange langue on his temple. His sliver/white goatee-beard was slightly red from his blood from before. His face the complexion was fair, and Kind looking. His Eyes spoke sadness and pain if looked into closely, but he would never let anyone see such things.

-He got quite...that’s not good...- Arc gently set her arm down on her lap in a comfortable manner. He looked over to Blaze's toe, trying to contemplate what the Zoid was up to. But then He looked up at Blaze giving up on the other Zoid It wasn't important right now.
Sniper:

Sniper;
His face was in focus for only a quick moment, than burred again as her eyes became heavy.
"Am... I going... to learn your name?" She chucked weakly as he looked back at Blaze.
By now she had learned to ignore the pain in her arm, though it was great.

Kagi also looked up at Blaze as he pounded what to do next... than it hit him.
He looked up at Blaze, than back at Blaze's toes.

It was amusing at how all the attention was now on Blaze. His ears perked up as to express this amusement.

Dreamer:

"......My...name." Arc looked down his voice was still calm but it was questioning to himself in a 'let out' breath as it was quite. His name...what if she was republic, she might now of him then . No. She was betrayed by them or whoever; she would have no reason to turn on him. Would she?
He looked back at the woman’s face. It wouldn't hurt. Would it?
"...D-do you really want to know it?" It was a stupid question especially at a time like this. And she had hinted on him giving itSniper:

Sniper:

I wouldn't have... asked if... I didn't want to... know it." Nick huffed, not out of anger, but it was still hard to speak.

Kagi bolted forward again, thunking into the big toe over and over.
"Gwar!"

"....hurrraarrr..." Blaze mumbled as Kagi started up again. He was expecting something else

Dreamer::

..."Arch looked down as if he was ashamed and he slowly stood up still looking down.-I guess I could...- His breathing was more apparent as he did.
"...Arch..." It slid out off his mouth though it was so hard for him to speak it. Arch moved around to her un-wounded side and crouched down next to her again. His body felt another stab as he did.
" I can move you...if you want to leave..." That same calmness was in his voice, But it was still hesitant.

Sniper:

Nick looked over at Arc. He must not have wanted to give it, he didn't even give a full name. It was understandable. A name is a precious thing... though she did prefer to have her's known and respected.
"Nick..." She mumbled back.
"and.. I thi-" Her eyebrows furrowed as she heard her organoid. t.

Kagi bolted toward blaze, passing between his legs. He was so quick to do this Blaze had no time to counter. So again Kagi had Arc in his sights.
"GWAR!!" He cut nick off in mid sentence.
-GET AWAY FROM MY THINGS!

Dreamer:

Arc looked up from Nick as he heard the Zoid. The Organiod was mad. Vary mad. Arc Tried to rise but it was as if gravity had gotten heavier as he moved at such a quick movement. He grabbed his abdomen with his left hand. The bandages had become redder since he last looked at them - Why! Dose it hurt. So much...Of all times! - Arc saw his Dagger conveniently next to him just in reach. -His movment's are becoming faster-

Sniper:

KAGI!... ENOUGH!" Nick had mustered up enough strength to yell at the organoid. Where this strength had come from? She didn't know, but was glad it came.
As she yelled at the organoid she rolled her head to the side so she could make eye contact with him.

Kagi charged forward in a rage. His eyes flashed as his maw opened. But he came to a skidding halt, stopping completely only a few feet away from Nick, as she spoke to him.
Everything fell silent as Nick and Kagi stared each other in the eyes.

"Stop... leave... Arc... alone...." She commanded the organoid, hopping that it would make it through his thick skull.
He, intern, continued to stare back.

Dreamer;

Arc flopped back wide eyed at Nick's Sudden out burst He was not prepared for that, of all things.Only one word came to mind-...Scary...- He was relived that this Kagi had stopped and would hopefully listen. His hand was still in mid-air as he stopped from reaching the dagger. It was so sudden and commanding. Arc reminded silent and tried not to look too distracting. This was too important. Arc looked from Kagi and Nick and up to Blaze. -heh.heh.-

Sniper:

Nick lifted her "good" arm weakly to pet the Organoid's snout.
"It's okay... " She spoke softly to Kagi. "Thank you... Kagi..."

Kagi leaned forward, placing his nose under Nick's hand. The whole time none of them lost eye contact.
"Gwar..." He cooed.
-All mine...- He felt victorious over the enemy, even though he did not get to maul him.

"He should... leave you alone... now..." She spoke to Arc without looking at him. It was rude, but she did not want to lose eye contact with Kagi. It seemed to help him focus, and with as thick of a head as he had it was a good think for him to do.

Dreamer:

Arc dropped his hand from the air, landing on the dagger Arc looked from Blaze to the ground. Closing his eyes he allowed his body to relax -That's something to cherish. You don't see that too often anymore...- Arc reviled his Crimson eyes to watch the two; it was rather soothing to him to see such a thing. -Zoids and Humans...One day...we'll live together with out war...One day. - Arc started to show a smile but, was no more when a shot of pain crawled from his cheek across his face. Reminding him that that 'mark' was still carved deeply in to his skin. That pain caused The Judge flashed through his mind, fallowed by Songbird's lifeless body limp in his arms, the Village and boy. It was like a flash in him mind. The Children’s screams filled his ears once more. It stabbed at his chest as his Stomach dropped out.-It's because of me...- Closing his eyes once more he tried to rid himself from it. It wouldn't go away.

"Thank you..." Arc breathed out. Not abruptly, but smoothly. It didn't show but the pain was tearing him up, devouring him whole inside. He wouldn't show it. He couldn't.

Sniper:

agi lifted his head, letting Nick's hands drop to her side once again. There were unfamiliar sounds in the air. Larger Zoids were approaching. It was than Kagi remembered that one, one had gotten away. The must be back for his property!
-NO, MINE!-
"Grawr!" He cried out angrily as he stood defensively in front of Nick.

Large Imperial zoids were approaching from the west. There were quite a few. Blaze hissed at the small group below him.

"s**t... " Nick muttered under her breath.
"... Look... You should get... out of here... They don't want you..." She leaned her head over so she could look at Arc. "You have my thanks…."

The Sun was now high enough in the sky that is chased the morning shadows away with its light. This would make it hard to hide in the forest, especially with Kagi and his crimson armor.

Dreamer;

-More Zoids...- Arc didn't left his head to the sounds, He didn't care. -Leave her...She still isn't well, it's not the right thing to do. But if she wants it.- Arc looked up once again at Nick, hiding his emotions as she spoke to him.
"Are you going to need help?" Arc asked as if he didn't hear her say that he should leave.

Sniper:

Kagi turned around and faced Nick, he stood high on his hind legs as he finished moving. His posture was close to humanoid as his hind legs would allow him.
"GRAWR!"
Quickly his chest opened up, emitting a powerful light. Nick only had enough time to gasp before cords burst from the light and entangled her than pulled her into the Organiod. The lime green eyes flashed the brightest they have ever been as his chest closed.

Blaze had been too busy watching the horizon to see what had happened, but if felt the same as before when he chased the red zoid to this spot. He knew that they would be taking off very soon. Maybe they would have to make it Kyrea again... she seemed to be in trouble herself when Blaze had last left her. Than again, who knew where this Zoid would take them next...

Dreamer:

Arc didn't look from Nick as Kagi moved in front of her. Next thing he knew cords shot out from the organiod and wrapped around her. The light was blinding, Arc turned his head a bit from the light and lifted his arm to help shade his eyes. What was happening? It's so bright. - What's happening? Kagi...Nick? Where?...- Arc tried to watch as Nick was pulled in to Kagi. It was too bright to see any thing. When Kagi closed he chest Arc glanced around to find Nick she was now ware to be found. - No way...did she just-

Arc looked up at the Zoid, He didn't know what to make of what just happed. Was it good or bad? Looking from Kagi he looked up at Blaze with a confused look. As if to say 'what happened?'.

Sniper:

Kagi looked at Arc as he turned around, but did not pause to look long. His eyes were glowing bright.
With a low growl he darted past Arc, nearly slapping him with his tail.

Blaze looked down shaking his head at Arc briefly before taking off himself. By the time Blaze tool off the Organoid had turned on its boosters and reached high speeds. Blaze had to move quickly to catch up.
He would not have time to pick up the other pilot this time...

Dreamer:

Arc was still dumbstruck to what happened. What ever happened it must have been for the better. Fallowing Kagi with his eyes he nodded at the Zoid as he Looked back at him with his glowing eyes. Arc titled back as Kagi ran past him just in case the ornery Zoid tried anything, missing the tail.
Arc Chucked softly as he looked back at Blaze.
"That's okay...Thank you...and take care of her."

Arc dragged his dagger of the ground and slipped it back to its home.-...- grunting Arc stood himself up. Slipping off his goggles, he shook out his hair, to clear it of sand. Once he run his fingers though it with his right hand, as he watched the two Zoid's boosters started to disappear in to the woods. Sighing Arc opened the flap of his bag and placed the goggles in it.After doing so he reviled a pair of dark tinted red glasses. He ran his free hand over his hair once more before placing the glasses over his crimson eyes, Being careful not to aggravate his cut.

Out of the corner of his eye he caught the attention of the gun. Taking a step he retrieved the gun. Scanning it, Arc flipped it from side to side. It looked good. Pulled back the Action. It was empty, But quickly refilled, once he let go of it -Still loaded...- With a shrug he slipped it in the back of his pants with the safety on. He wasn't planning on using it any time soon.

Arc dusted himself off and looked up as closed his eyes - Just another day...-

Sniper:

The sound of cries filled the air as massive explosions went off about the area. The whole scout that had been approaching was being destroyed group by group.
As this commotion went on one fled for her life. Her long white hair trailed behind her as she ran for her life. Scars covered her pale skin and tears filled her dull red eyes. Her cloths were torn brown rags and her shoes were nothing but leather sandals tied up around her shins.

Behind her the sound of the Judge mocked at her and laughed.
" Run as you may, you will never escape your judgment!"
The eerie voice echoed over the forest.
"I pass judgment on you now... death for your crimes."

Dreamer;

Arch had proceeded away from were he first Meet Nick and the Remains of 'human'. Arch soon stopped walking as his attention want toward the direction of the blasts. They have gotten so close. What was going on? Arch didn't move from where he Stopped a cold shiver ran up his back as he heard the familiar demented Voice. At first he thought it was him that was being mocked. But them the thought of another came to mind.

Arch completion didn't show fear or curiousness, the only thing noticeable was his unknown glare in his, which was covered by his tinted glasses. -Wretched demon...-

He stood ready though his stance reminded relaxed and simple. But he wasn't looking forward to encountering the Demon again; this time he would pull the trigger.

Sniper:

The woman ran and ran, but a black figure soon caught up to her and forced her to the ground in a familiar fashion.
"No! Go away!! HEELP! PLEASE!" She cried out in hoarer. To her knowledge there was no one... but she cried out in sheer panic.

The judge shook her head and laughed. Her demonic crimson eyes flashed. She brought a claw to the woman's cheek and begun to carve deep into her flesh. With her free hand she held the woman's head down so that she could not move and mess up the mark.
"No, no one can help you and no one will. This is the payment for your crime and now you... You will die as your punishment." The demented voice hissed.

Dreamer:

- There is another!...- As Arch heard the Woman's scream he had no second thought as he raced toward it instantly. Quickly the sight of the Woman and Judge pinning her down came into view. Growling Arch withdrew his gun from on his back; took quick aim and pulled the trigger. Doing so his accuracy wasn’t that great, because of the drasticness of the shot, his running and distance.

Stopping a little more then a hundred feet from the two, Arch raised the gun for a more steady and accurate aim.

Sniper:

The first bullet just barely missed the Judge. It looked up at Arch with a laugh. It knew that stopped he could well hit it in a vital area.
"Well well... Arch... Do you wish to stop this sinner's judgment? This only adds more to your crime. "
All while it spoke it backed away from the white woman.

"Fate will happen, your judgment will be passed, I have not nor will I forget you." And with that it vanished into the darkness of the dawn.

The woman curled into a fetal position weeping and trembling all over from fear. A sharp pain stuck at her cheek, more so as she brought a hand to it.
Her long hair spread about her with blood from her cheek bleeding through it.

Dreamer;

Arch responded to Judge's first comment with the pulling back on the Hammer of his gun *click* It's word's didn't seem to affect his decision; But only seemed to make him more willing to take it's life.

He just stared it down as it started to back away from the woman; fallowing it with his gun. Not taking his eyes off of it, till it finally faded away.

Arch only looked at the woman when he was sure it was gone. As he thought it was clear and the Judge was gone, He finally lowered his gun; but didn't return it to his holster. Arch steady approached the woman who was trembling in fear. - Terrified...and beaten...-

Arch stopped in front of her and looked down upon her, with still that emotionless face. He didn't look cruel nor sad or angry, just almost nothing. The only emotion showed through his eyes, which were hidden behind his glasses, faintly showing remorse.

Sniper:

The woman curled up tighter as Arch approached her. Faintly, as he reached the close distance her whispering pleas could be heard.
"g-go away... st-topp... please... go away..."
Her eyes were shut tight.

Also at that distance an object, a familiar shaped necklace, peeked out from under her arm. Just barley so that the design was showing.

Dreamer:

and pain. Shaking his head he let out a sigh, Replacing his gun to it's home, He looked around the area. It seemed clear. Whatever is, isn’t now. He was sure judge had taken care of that. When his ruby eyes fell on the woman once more he noticed the Necklace. -That's strange...no way. It couldn't be exactly like Cross'...- Arch was curious but would restrain himself to ask, for now anyway.

Arch closed his eyes briefly; he knew her pain. Couching down he took a knee, winching a bit, hardly noticeable by anther. His wound still ached and he needed to rest, but that could wait.

Arch rested his arm on his leg the one that helped precisely hold the Gun. He seemed reasonably calm for what just happened.

"...It's not here now..."

Arch wasn't going to tell her if it was safe, because he himself still didn't think it was. He didn't want to say anything for that matter, but he knew he had too.

Sniper:

The woman slowly opened her eyes as if looking into the sun. Wincing, expecting more pain to come her way. Her pale red orbs just barely viable from behind her arms and hair.

"n-no... " She sqeaked in half a question and half an answer.

Dreamer:

"...I don't see her..." Arch took his time answering, he didn't want to. Though his tone was still vary calm and almost soothing

Arch's brow raised as the woman opened her eyes slightly. She looked to be albino, and vary skittish. Arch slowly reviled an open palm to the Woman; as if to help her up and to show her that he meant no harm.

Sniper:

The woman lowered her hands and looked at the palm. She winced a bit more as she tried to look Arch in the eyes. Her's were so full of fear... It was like looking at a mouse in the corner of a snake's den.

"You... you scared it away?" Her voice was soft and gentle on the ears, but still full of fear.

Dreamer;

"..."

Arch didn't say anything in return to the Woman's question. Though he didn't think 'Scared' was the best word. - she so fearful...- Arch looked at her in the eyes the best as he could. What was she doing here? And she is so skittish. Her voice was pleasant, almost tranceing.

Arch kept his hand out for her if she wanted to accept it. If not he would take it back. He wasn't trying to seem cold or harsh. But at first look that’s what it seemed. The glasses added to that affect.

Sniper:

The woman very slowly extended a hand toward his, her eyes opened a bit more.
*eh* She gasped as she caught sight of the scar on his face and her hand withdrew very quickly. For the moment she saw the scar her eyes widened than shut again. The memories... that demon nearly taking her life.

She didn't return to being fully curled up as before, a hand still semi extended toward Arch.

Dreamer:

Arch opened his hand more as she reached for it. But she withdrew it, why? - My 'mark'...- he thought with distaste. It had scared her or something. It was the only thing he could think of. He hadn't even seen it yet himself. Arch’s crimson eyes took in the woman's face, mainly focusing on her resent given scar. Was his the same? And how did he survive. Blaze showing up? Maybe...It has to be the reason. It did state that his punishment wasn't death...It was because she died that his punishment was life, to be haunted by his own memories and dreams. But what would become of him now? More had been added to Judge's list.

He couldn't think of anything he had to help with the bleeding. It was all recently used on Nick. He had that cloth, but that was already used. Only if whisper and cross were there, it would be another story.
Arch remained patient with the woman's actions. From what he got it would be best to let her take her time. Though as skittish she was, he didn't blame her.

Sniper:

The woman uncurled after a bit. Slowly she rolled to her knees and proceeded to try and stand. Uncurled it was more obvious that she was starved, her cloths loosely hung from her body. Her white hair fell over her shoulders and covered her face.

Dreamer;

Arch started to stand up as the woman did; he lowered his hand a bit. But remained ready if she were to fall. She looked so frail. Had she been a slave, even a pet?
Arch hated the thought, it disturbed him. If she was as such it would explain the rags and why she was so afraid. Arch felt so much remorse for her. But it wouldn't show

Sniper:

Finaly, when she got up, the necklace was in full view. It was the same as Cross'. This one still stained with old blood.
She stood up with a good posture but something about that, the look, made it seem as if she were ready to fall over any time. Her eyes did look at his hand several times as she nearly did fall over.
"T-thank you s-sir." She nearly whispered as that was all her voice would permit her to do.

Dreamer:

Arch made it to a full stand as she did, watching, making sure she wasn't to fall. His eyes fell to the Necklace, He was sure of it, it was the same as Cross'. Maybe it was a coincidences, or maybe this woman held a key to unlocking his forgotten past.

Arch nodded to the Woman's words still he kept his hand ready to ceatch her.
"...Are you going to be alright?..." Once again Arch's words were smooth and relaxed.

Sniper:

"I think so..." She looked up at the man. Something about his eyes put her at ease, that is only buy a bit.
Behind the sound of zoid foot steps could be heard approaching their position. She flinched again and moved behind Arch.

"There is no escape from your fate!" The demonic hiss came from the direction of the zoid steps.

The woman grabbed her head and shivered. Trying to scream but not a noise passed her lips.

Dreamer:

Arch looked up from the woman as he heard the Zoid's steps. Arch calmly removed his glasses and placed them back in his bag. His eyes fallowed the woman as she moved behind him. Looking toward the voice his body immdently tinced up, as the voice hissed, Insintly he knew what it was.

" We need to leave! " Arch Whllered around grabing the woman by the wrist and strated to run away from the voice. Arch wasn't one to run but he had to think of the woman.

Sniper:

As soon as she was grabbed she flinched and ran with him. The woman stumbled around behind Arch, being dragged. It was hard for her to keep up with him but she gave it all he had in order to keep up. She could feel her face geeing warm as she wanted to cry. This was too much for one day.
The voice and the zoid's steps were getting more distant the more they ran, but there was still that felling of being followed...

Dreamer;

Arch slowed as he felt the woman lagging behind. It must have been hard for her to keep up as is. Arch could hear the Zoid's steps become fainter but he still wasn't going to stop. -it's toying with us...-

flipping around Arch scooped up her up and continued to run. A sharp pain escalated through out his body and his face reflected it along with a grunt. He had had a chance to rest and noticeably it was taking toll. But he had to keep going.

Sniper:

The woman gasped as she was scooped up by Arch. In his arms she trembled a bit, scared of what was going tp happen next. She tried to remain still but the cold shivers running down her spine just wouldn't stop.

There was a dark laugh coming from behind them.
"You can never out run the jury with your legs. Fate, your judgment shall happen today." The sounds of the zoid messed in with the crashing of trees as she approached their position.

Dreamer:

Arch growled there was no way he was going to be able to out run it, And he knew it. He had to think of her. Arch slowed to a stopped and made to set the woman down.

" Go! You need to get out of here." Arch breathing had started to show as he spoke as he sat her down. And turned around to face the Sounds of impending doom.

"Get going!" It was one of the only times that Arch's voice sounded threating.

Sniper:

The woman looked down at Arch than in the direction of the noise. She shook her head, though the fear was obvious in her eyes. She did not want to, she knew that the Judge was after her, but that would also mean this guy would be safe.
"Be safe... please. You get out of here too." She whimpered and touched his head with her frozen hands before running off in another direction.

As she ran the opposite direction the Zoid steps changed, they were now following her not him. It was also at this time shots were fired. A bright glow of sudden light shot through the forest landing where she was running.

Dreamer;

Arch looked down at his hand as he felt her frozen hands. And then looked back as he noticed the change in the steps of the pursuing Zoid. It was after her.

Arch turned back around and tried to run after her, but as he did the Next step he took landed him on his knees.

"GHA!-" At that moment everything had caught up with him. The demand on his body was too much without rest. Arch Clinched his stomach as he looked up from the ground to see the luminescent glow land on her distention. Arch Tried to pick himself up and off the ground. But he didn't even make it to his feet before he dropped once more. His body rived with pain as his breathing became more apparent.

Growling with frustration at his resent double failure. He slammed his fist agents the ground and tried again to get up.

Sniper:

A feint shadow became visable to the left of Arch, it was the Jury... slowly hunting down its prey. The deatales on it were hard to make out, but one thing was for sure... it's eyes were a hateful red with a strong blood lust.

Dreamer:

Arch pushed himself harder to stand, but it was becoming increasingly harder to straighten up full. The only thing keeping him up was his own soberness and pride to not be knelt in front of an enemy. Arch partly, hunched turned himself to face the Zoid that now was to the left of him. Arch slowly straightened himself to a full stand; though it was obvious that it was hard to do so.

He had tried to hide his pain the whole time and was paying for it now. He prayed for the Woman's life and some how that she had survived the assault, though it was vary unlikely. Arch breathing had escalated in heaviness as the pain increased as he stood. He dropped again to his knees. Arch looked over to the lustful Zoid and were it stood. Dropping his hand from his stomach he Stared coldly in to what could be called the Zoid's eye's

-Forsaken...-

Sniper:

The bushes in the distance rattled a slowly as a white figure slowly crawled out from them. The woman could not figure out why she was not found... maybe the Zoid's heat sensors were broken. Carefully she looked around, spotting the wounded Arch on the path.

She quickly sprinted to him, and placed a soft hand on his shoulder.
"Sir... you do not look well. Please, let me help you."

Dreamer:

Arch didn't take his eyes off the shadow, as the woman appeared out of the bushes. He hadn't noticed her as she approached him, he was so transfixed on the shadow and that pain was severe that it dulled his since and even thinking.

His eyes flickered as he was touched by a soft hand. Who had touched him?

.He turned his head impulsively to looked to her the momment he was touched, Taking his crimson orbs off the beast. The words of the woman reached his ears slowly as he gazed at her with a unbeliveable stare. -...Alive?...-

Sniper:

Rei kneled down before him and placed a hand on his head. He was in so much pain.
"Relax... It will be okay."

She looked around the area. It seemed quiet, for now. That zoid might be back and there would be nothing she could do. Moving him would be impossible, now moving him would be impossible. They were stuck until this man could move. So he sat there next to him and waited, keeping on the alert for that zoid. Ideas ran through her mind as she sat there

Dreamer;

Arch looked at the ground as she rested her hand on him again. It was so strange being comforted by another, she had even knelt before him it was almost uncomtable for him....he needed to get up. -I...Need..to..get...- Arch tried again to get to a full stand. He didn't make a word or grunt as he did. His breathing incresed slightly with each inch he rose.

Sniper:

Rei looked down as he tried to get up. He was hurting so bad. She felt helpless as she watched him try to get up.
"Please, you must try to rest a little. You will only hurt yourself more."
Her hands moved to his shoulders.
"It is uncomfortable... I know...."

Dreamer:

Arch looked at this woman that pleaded with him to rest. Why was she? Arch breathing relaxed a little as he fully strightened keeping his eyes on her. The movement to stand was more painfull then anything. His eye's reflected the pain but still held a sence of clamness, and looked as if he was use to the pain.

" I will..." Arch finaly answered. His voice was tired but was still steady though his heavy breaths. looking down at his bag he started to open it.

Sniper:

The woman sat back a bit and readied to catch him if her were to lose his strength. But at the same time she wanted him to be comfortable with her presence. Her mouth opened to say something, but than it closed as she watched him go through the bag.
"Will.. do you need help?"

Dreamer;

Arch retrieved what looked like to be a object of communication. Arch looked up at her as he pulled it free.

"..." He didn't answer her question. He clicked on the communicator.

"Cross..." Arch spoke in to the device. There was a short pause before the gentle growl of a zoid was heard. Then fallowed by the sound of what seemed like fumbling and a dropping sound.
" I know, I know,...sheeh...Loyal!?" A voice of that of a young boy finally answered.

"Where have you..." The boy continued as Arch shock his head a bit. "I mean-it's been-" The voice seemed to vary excited to finally hear from Arch before it was cut of by him.

"I'm setting the tracker..." Arch interrupted the boy his voice still vary much warn out.

"Grr...alright...your quite a ways off..."

"...." Arch paused as he tried to gather his thoughts it was become vary hard to think clearly as the pain still more mild then before still serge though his body.

"loyal?...are you okay?" The sound of a Zoid getting a little fussy could be heard in the background.

"...I need...you...here...Immediately..." Arch dropped his hand that held the communicator to his side and the communicator dropped from his grip. He strength to stand was also being depleted

Sniper:

The woman backed away at the sound of the boy's voice. It... it was so familiar.
"C-cross..."
Where... where was it from. The name also pulled a cored in her mind. Slowly she continued to back away from Arch. When a loud crashing noise sounded in the distance she ran again, to the left of Arch’s position. The shadowed zoid was back.
Hissing and growling as it followed after the woman. It's eyes flashed with a deep bloodlust, reflecting that of its pilot. It would soon have its prey.

Dreamer:

Arch looked up to see the woman backing away. -what...is she...- Arch looked toward the direction of the crash.

"No don't!-...Ah!" Arch tried to stop the woman by reaching out towards her quickly. But the sudden movement caused a wave of pain to course though his body retracting his arm not being able to stop her. That Zoid, he was so helpless. His strength was failing he could barely stand as it was. Let alone hold a grip for long. She was going to die if he didn't do something, he couldn't do anything. Whisper wasn't there, he couldn't even protect himself in his condition.

Sniper:

The zoid fired a few rounds at the trees and bushes, growling in a manner that sounded like a beastly laugh. There was an eerie silence after that. The sound of the large zoid proudly walking away was the only thing to break that silence, but that only lasted a moment before the silence resumed.

Dreamer:

Arch could only watch as the events unfolded as he stood there and the beast had his way. Again he was helpless to save someone. He couldn't stand just standing there, But the only movement that soon fallowed was him dropping again to his knees. His body was spent, it wouldn't move. It had been running on pure will for to long

Sniper:

There was no movement as the silence went on. Finally after a bit there was a quiet moaning sound and slow footsteps moving away from him. Rei was trying to escape further away from Arc as best she could.
Rei was hunched over grasping her stomach. She was scared from head to toe with gashes.
Blod trained over her arm and dribbled to the ground in small drops

Dreamer;

Arch closed his eyes. He couldn't feel anything anymore. Be it a blessing or a curse. He couldn't move. His mind drifted in nothing less as the silence lingered like a heavy fog.

Arch's crimson eyes dragged open as a vary faint sound was heard.

She was alive, but how?

Arch moved his hand a bit it numbly hit the communicator next to him. He growled. But that was barely being able to be heard. - I have to...help.- Arch blinked hard to get his eyes to focus.

"come on....get up." Arch commanded to himself in a low growl.

"Just a little longer..." He still argued with himself. Pleaded to his body to listen. It wouldn’t

"I have...to.."

-help...her...-

Sniper:

The woman continued to run just a little further before she collapsed to the ground, trembling with fear. Her body would not permit her to go any further.
She tried though, with all her might she tried to move further away so that the stranger would be safe... But her efforts were in vein.

Dreamer:

Growling at his failure he shut his eyes tightly. as he did a flash of Songbirds face flashed through his mind.- you couldn't save her...But you can save another...do it for her...DO IT FOR HER!- Arch's eyes opened and for once in the last four years they held a shard of the forgotten determination they once shown.

He didn't care his body WAS going to listen even it going to be his last action he WOULD get up. He had to.

Letting out a single heavy breath he slowly started to get up scooping up the communicator along the way. He looked like a puppet on a string as he stood up. his shoulders looked heavy and not pulled back. his arms hung at his side. Raising his head his he looked to left of were he stood that woman had gone that way. And so would he. He didn't know if that demon was around or It's pet nor did he care. Whisper and Cross were coming. how far they were he didn't know, but they were coming and Whisper was fast.
Arch slipped the communicator in his bag once again. And he started turn toward his destination, that woman.

Sniper:

The woman was slowly scooting herself away from Arch, but soon fell still as a corps. Her pure white skin covered in red mud, her cloths the same.
She mumbled something about going away, but the last words from her mouth were surprising.
"C-cross...."

Dreamer;

Arch made his way over to the still woman. She had said something, but what was it. Arch had been to far away to hear anything clearly. And she seemed desperate to escape him, he figure for his own safety rather then her own. The Zoid was after her right?

Arch rushed over to her the moment she had came in to view. It was painful to move but that didn't matter now.

she looked really beat up. But it's a miracle that she was able to survive both assaults...

When Arch retched her he knelt down at her side. Quickly he looked her over. She was in bad shape. Quickly he removed his vest as he noticed her stomach it looked bad. It was all he had on him and it was the best he could do. He draped the vest over her abdomen and fastened it around her tightly. Though as week as he was he could do that. He couldn't hold it on her his hands were already partiality covered in Nick’s blood.

It was the best he could do. he had to get her out of here. That zoid seem to think he had claimed it's target. Maybe they were safe. But Arch couldn't risk it. Grunting he moved to picked her up once again. Though it was much more difficult this time

Sniper:

The woman remained motionless, even as Arch did his medic thing to her. There was no sign of the zoid coming back. Everything remained eeriely quiet. Not even the birds sang their songs.
The necklace the woman wore was flopped out, still around her neck, and half sank in the mud. Only a glimour of the pendant shown.

Dreamer:

As Arch started to rise with the woman, he found it much more difficult to do so, and pain would be back. As he rose his eyes caught the glint of the necklace as it was drawn out of the mud with it's owner. That sight of that familiar trinket, reminded Arch of what she had said before she took off for the second time. She had spoken his name, Cross. How could she have known that? Did she know him? The necklace was the same...so maybe.

As he stood It still was a bit difficult to think. How he held her in his arms was nothing short of a miracle. Be it adrenaline or something else. He did so none the less. His movement was a bit heavy but he still looked to have a steadiness to his face as he looked forward. Though it held the complexion of one pressing his limits once again. He just need to get away. He never trusted that eerie silence and it always meant that it was a good time to leave. So he just started walking.

Sniper:

Rei stirred a bit than barely opened her eyes.
"What are you... doing? She... she will kill you..." She mumbled, than fell motionless agian.

Dreamer:

Arch didn't answer the woman's question; it was as if he couldn't. Like that one word, that extra breath, would send him to the ground once more. frankly he couldn't even gather his thoughts for words every world lost as it was thought. He felt as if every step would be his last. But as he took it he some how kept moving.

Sniper:

"Run as you may... But can never escape your fate. Tell me, will you let her die as you did your friend? Will you murder her as you did your lover?"
The demonic voice called from behind them.

Rei still remained motionless.

Dreamer;

Those word, Those Demonic words Ripped through Arch's thoughts. even in his state of mind those chosen word where heard as clear a bell. As he tried to wrap his mind around an answer he only managed to stop moving. He wanted to yell but nothing came, only heavy breaths. It was playing with him and enjoying it.

-you Killed her, no you didn't. Yes you did, don't lie. I couldn't...I had no choice, I-I tried…I was just-. his thoughts were as such as he tried to find an answer he wondered if he was still sane. –I’m just too..- His thoughts filled with confusion. How could a few words break someone so easily?
--Weak. Your WEAK..NO! I Didn't-I could-His eye’s closed tightly what was happening. Had he fallen off the cliff of reason. What was this poison? He wanted it all just to….

-Stop it .Stop. Stop.-

Sniper:

"You are so weak... you can't possibly expect to survive. The fight is within you... and you cant handle any of it. Murderer... nothing but ash, the image of what once was, of no use to anyone. The only purpose to suffocate the innocent... to kill. You are a killer... the ones you care about will all fall at your own hands because you are careless. I know you inside and out Arch... I know you, there is no hiding the truth."

Dreamer:

Memories of a life once lived ran through his mind, of a man that die with that woman. -Murderer. Killer. Killer....-
-...Don't listen, Angel...Arch...-
Opening his Crimson eyes he looked upward as if to find answers. Silence. the only answer being was a stray tear that ran down the broken man's face across that Mark-No his mark. It stung his blood stained skin. One word, one name, escaped his lips.

"Song..." that last word dropped him to his knees he still held her in his arms this scene was all to familiar. And a sicking sleep welcomed his heavy desperate eyes as that woman remained frozen in his arms.

Sniper:

The Judge laughed as Arch collapes to the ground.
"Oh, sleep, calm your fried mind. Your nightmares will only be with you as you awaken."
She chuckled.
"Their blood, her death, will claw at your mind... like a bad Song who will never leave you alone."

Dreamer;

"Rawgh" A Call could be heard off in the distance it belonged to Mugen liger as approached the forest, where his friend and partner seemed to be. It seemed to be vary distressed. He had a target and he was approaching fast. boosters ablaze.
****

"Whisper! What is wrong with you!" A young boy augured with the zoid as he sat helplessly to control the thing in the custom pit for two. It had locked on his target and was deturmed to get there. Cross never could control the stubborn Mugen. He seemed to only listen to Arch. With or with out him.

"Your over heating! I am NOT going to fix you again if you blow out!" the youth Threatened unsuccessfully as the Screen pop up in the pit warning the Crew of overexertion of the zoid.
****

" Gwa!" The Zoid final slowed as It waived, passing in and out of the tree patches. Not stoping for anything It was as if he knew the distress of the situation
****

Those thoughts and words were unrelenting on Arch's mind as it drifted into Darkness. the Sound of the Approaching zoid Wasn't even heard.

Sniper:

As the mugan charged forward, to bright red eyes charged toward it, but vanished as it came more into view. A dark chuckle followed after it.

Dreamer:

As the eyes Charged at Whisper it only encouraged him to speed up and raise one the two blades from it's back. As the blade flipped and was extended forward the target was no ware to be found. It wasn't even detected on his radar. Normally the Zoid wasn't so rash even with it's pilot in his seat. But something worried the Zoid. He would get this way if he even thought something was wrong with either of his two companions. Arch often worried about this that it could cause Whispers downfall. Cross was just more apt to speak of it, as his was more victimed with it.

****

The two red eyes caught the attention of the boy he first looked at them with a bit of surprisement. But then glanced down at the interments that would read if there even was another Zoid within Range. It showed nothing. this truth only reviled a puzzled look upon his face. There was evidence of remaining zoids on the scope. but nothing evident. But right in front off them...
"Whisper?-" the boy's voice was questioning as the Zoid speed up and the nearby controls and a familiar humming sound drifted through the pit at the blade was raised.
"Eh-" The boy pressed himself up agents the seat as a familiar sentence ran though his mind...
-Not Again...-

****

But before his eyes could register it the Eyes were gone and fallowed by a skin crawling laughter, that some how sounded familiar.

As the event passed a growl erupted from Whisper, he seemed to be confused about the event too. A moment later the Zoid slowed to a trot as Zoid tracked down his target.
Then to a walk as He approached. A satisfactory growl hummed in the air as he came in to the view of Arch and the woman.

****

"yeah you found him...Good Jo-Wait!" Cross pulled himself out of the seat as he got a better view on the interior, exterior screen. Something was wrong. Cross made no wasted time as he jumped out of the pit as soon as whisper allowed it.

Sniper:

Not long after Cross arrived at the scene with whisper loud crashing echoed throughout the area. A large zoid came their way, and not one for stealth as it was quite noisy.
------

Kard looked over the screen several times. Lucky for him he know where he was this time and where he was going to go. He sat back in his chair and lazily waited for the lab to appear over the horizon. It seemed like they had been traveling for more than ten hours... not very comfortable on the tuckas.

Knight's large head hung high above all the trees in the area. He took great pride in what he was; very big.
The body of a Giga Gojulas and the pincers of a berserk Fruher, this one looked like something you did not want to mess with.

Dreamer:

Whisper satisfied with this accomplishment of finding Arch, let himself relax, he had fried the engine’s core and overexerted the boosters. He was fine with it and waited patently. He knew something was wrong with Arch and knew he had done what he could.
Cross Run over to the couple, As he approached he noticed Loyal wasn't alone but infact carried another. Though he still reminded collapsed and beaten making no sign of stirring anytime soon.

Crosses stomach dropped as he drew closer. What if he was...? No. Loyal was too strong, Right? He was all Cross had he wouldn't leave him...would he?
"Loyal!" Cross slid to a halt in front of the two, shoving Arch (Loyal, as he knew him) a bit as he rested his hands on his Shoulders.

"Oh Man! You can't do this! Not know...Get up...please...get up..." His voice was strong as he started to speak but it had became increasingly weak as he spoke. Looking up Cross finally took notice to the loud clamor of what sounded like another Zoid. With out thinking Cross darted back to Whisper and flung him self in to the pit hitting the com. switch "on" the way.
-please let it go through...-
Cross prayed as he spoke into the onboard receiver
.
"Please I need help!...Anyone!?" The boy's voice was a desperate one as he fought himself to stay 'strong'

Sniper:

Kard jumped once he heard the desperate voice over the COM link. Quickly he checked the radar to pin the exact location of the distress call.
"Hang on, I got your position. I'm Coming." He spoke as if it were a programmed response.
Quickly Kard pushed the lever for the boosters as far away from him as possible sending the gigantic zoid forward at a much greater speed than before.
-common, work for me this time- Kard begged as the zoid jolted forward. It was more prone to malfunction in this speeding state.
The whole area trembled as the zoid increased its pace. They were not far, and at his speed the distance gap was closing in quickly. Soon Cross would be able to see the Giant form of Knight appear over the trees.
"I'm almost there. Stay calm" He asured over the COM link.

Dreamer;

-Thank God...- It was the only thing to come to Cross' mind as he got a response. A sigh of relief came over him as he quickly looked back at Loyal- That stupid...he did it again-grwha- You better not die this time...- His thought process was interrupted by the Man's voice once again.

“Thank you! So much…“ His answer was then accompanied by a low vibration. looking up Cross could see something huge, What was it...A zoid?!

"wHa!-" the words of shire suprisement and awe completed in that one use of that word. Scrambling out the Pit. Cross Ran back over to Loyal and looked him over a bit more with his guest. That wound from before looked to be completely reopen...and the woman...He had used his own vest to help stop the bleeding. As it looked just as bad. Arch looked to be breathing but it was so heavy but light at the same time...not a good sign...Help was coming...And good thing...Cross didn't have near to enough supplies to treat this...They need real care...they need a Doctor

Sniper:

The massive zoid started to slow once the mugan was in view. Kard slowly pulled back on the accelerate stick as they approached their target. It was like stopping a train, much room was needed to stop completely and Kard did NOT want to trample who ever was out there.
Knight came to a complete stop just before his toe smashed into the back of the Mugan Liger. Immediately Kard lowered the head to the zoid so that he had just enough height to jump out safely. ( Meaning Knights big chin was touching the ground.)
Kard ran up to the three as fast as he could.
"Sh-..." -Little kid.. bad words not good- " oot what happened?" Kard looked over the scene and pressed a button on his watch, signaling for all his minis to come.

Dreamer:

cross looked back at Whisper as he heard the sound of two chunks of metal colliding fallowed by a grouchy roar from Whisper. The sad thing was Whisper as proud as he was couldn't do anything about it. The Zoid was huge! Cross had never seen such a wonderful thing...But now he had more important things to do then gawking at Zoid. Cross looked up at the man as he approached.
" I-He-We got separated and..." this was going no where. Letting out a sigh to restart he finally concluded...with a shake of his head. "I don't know..." Cross looked back at the two. What had happened...?

Cross seemed to be over all, okay for the situation and dealing with it fine...but that wasn't the truth and it was heard in his voice. Cross though still a boy knew when to keep a level head in times like these. That much he had learned from Arch.

Sniper:

Within moments of the signal two mini-zoids showed up. They were quick and unable to be seen by the naked eye.
"Alright you two, get to work on that zoid back there. Hey kid, hang on I'll get some medic supplies. Watch their condition okay.. I won't be long" And with that all three of them went to their appointed tasks. The two minis went to Mugan and begun to work on his energy problem while Kard bolted back to the GGNM ( Knight) to retrieve the medical supplies. He felt really proud of himself for not panicking in a situation like this... it was honestly a first time. yay.

Dreamer;

Cross nodded as he was still in awe over all the new...'Toys' and this new friend. He seemed to know what the do. Yeah Cross could Fix stuff and do minor medical care but...Not enough for this mess.

He watch the two. Who was this woman? he looked over her and one particular object caught his eye...that necklace. he took the necklace's trinket and rubbed it clean a bit. He was surprised at what he saw. It was just like his, he was sure of it. reaching down in his shirt thought the neck with his free hand he pulled out the hidden crest of His own necklace that he had, since Loyal found him. Cross flipped over the woman's seal to revile the back, and sure enough it held the same 'title': "Magister " embroiled deeply in the object. It puzzled him till know it was to be one of a kind. But this woman Had one just like it.

Sniper:

Kard returned not long after he left carrying a box of medical supplies. He set the box down on the ground and looked over the situation. A woman... This made Kard blush a little, it was his curse for living a very sheltered life.
"Okay, first we need to separate them. Kid can you give me a hand with this?"
-Okay, still calm.. this is good... calm....-
He moved over to Cross, still trying to figure out how this was going to be done.

Dreamer:

"eh...Yeah..." Cross quickly slipped his necklace back in the safety of his own shirt and let go of the woman's as he spoke. He looked up at the man as he waited for instructions on what to o next. This guy seemed to have everything together....
****
Arch slowly started to stir as he felt the presence of others...as his mind seemed to slowly come back to him. His breathing became stronger as he dragged himself into reality. Finally his crimson eye's opened half way as if blinded by the light. He still had held onto the woman...as his eyes tried to focus on the surroundings. His grip on the woman slacked even more as he fully awoken...his eyes still only part way open....

Sniper:

Kard was the first one to take the woman from Arch. It was one of those things where thinking was second and acting was first... this was a good thing for someone like Kard.
Gently he lay her aside Arch and went to fetch his medical kit. His own crimson eyes caught Arch as he went for the kit.
"Hey, you... nod if you can hear me." If he was responsive, that would be a good thing and one less for Kard to worry about. He signaled to Cross incase he did not notice Arch's awakening.

Dreamer:

Arch looked up as he felt the weight of the woman leave off his body. He could barely see and hear. He didn't even understand how he had awoken.
Making a vary slight nod, as much as his body would allow him to do so. His eyes still didn't shown to there fullest, all blurs when he thought he could make out something. Arch let his worn out body relax His bloodied arms fell more freely to his side.
****
Cross looked up from his thoughts as he noticed a Kard's hand and Loyal. He hadn’t noticed Loyal at first as he was still trying to comprehend the Necklace thing.

" Loyal!" The first thing he wanted to do was Knock Arch a good one, But that would have to wait. He was just happy to see him showing more signs of life. He sounded so cheerful to see him, the chastising would have to wait...and he was not going to let Arch slip out of this one.

Sniper:

Okay, he was awake... barely. So the first one to take care of would be the woman. No, she was mended a little bit already. So the guy?
Kard moved over to Arch with his kit.
"Kid." He looked at Cross. Honestly he hated calling him kid... it was so degrading. But there were no time for formalities so unless the kid spoke up Kard would have to continue calling him kid.
"You know how to bandage a wound?"

Slowly Rei started to stur. He begun to get to her knees.
"I.. have to go.. She will kill you all...If I stay" She gasped and tried to move to her feet. Her whole body trembled as it fought with her. Her pure white skin was now dirtied with mud and blood, her torn cloths about ready to fall from her body.

Dreamer;

Cross looked up to Kard as he was adrested, Personality he didnt mind the "Kid" naming he had always called others by something other then there name. I t was just something he did.
"Yeah, of course. Hiro..." Kard had a Name it was something he had to htink of without going through the 'hi my name is...' Cross always picked something that suited the peoson, well to what he thought anyway.

Arch as waron out as he was noticed Rei and had a feeling this was going to happen she had tried to get away before. And Arch and her were most likely the only people around that understood what the darnger was and what it was. All he could mange as Rei Started to get up was a vary light grip on her Arm. His grip was easy to break, But it was the best he could mange.

Sniper:

Rei looked down at her arm. Her own strength depleted from this whole ordeal, so it was hard for her to get out of this grip.... no matter if it was a pathetic one.
"She is… coming, I have to… go… ." She begun to mumble the last part of the sentence. And still she tried to stand.

Kard looked over at the two injured. What they were talking about was all Greek to him.
"Miss, pleas lay down, we need to seal up those wounds." He moved over to the woman and caught her before she fell back down.
-Hero?.. I'll ask later- The thought as he looked back at Cross.
"Okay, you take care of that one-" He pointed to Arch. "And Ill take care of this one. You can follow me back to my father's lab and we can get them some real medical attention, but we need to wrap them up first."

Dreamer:

Arch let his hand drop from Rei as she stood and Notice the other 'Blair' helping
"We...need *huff* toleave....Now..." Arch managed in a jerky sentence.
"Iwill-make itas is....." He tried to make his words as understandable as he could and not in a lightly manner
****
Cross fallowed Kard's finger to Arch. Then he looked back at Kard and nodded to show that he understood.

Sniper:

Kard looked back at Arch than the Mugan... than the woman. She seemed to be desperate to get out of there. Knight was starting to get a little nervous as well.
"Mugan's not ready yet. Knight will have to carry him... that means we all have to pile in Knight." Kard sighed.
"Okay, kid, wrap him up a bit and I'll get the cockpit ready to hold more than one person."
He didn't wait for a reply, but rather ran back to Knight and begun to get the cockpit ready.

Dreamer;

Arch grunted a bit as he closed his eyes and shifted to a full sit. He remained silent he could barely do anything. Just talking took a lot out of him. He had a distance look about him but a calmness mixed with a obvious ware on the mind. He tried to keep his thought away from what happened and what was said. He thought it all true and believed it. She had die...Because of him and others have soon fallowed her fate. He couldn't even Recall what the boy was like anymore. He remembered Her, but not her 'Angel'. All that survived that dreadful day was a shell, a shadow of that boy.
****
Cross reached over and begin to rummaged through the Kit.
"Loyal...what happened?..." he spoke though he knew he would get an answer. Not right know anyway. Sighing Cross found a roll of bandages.
" You can't keep doing this..." Cross looked at Arch stomach the bandages were no longer white from the last time they had meet, they were almost completely red with blood. He began to wrap up Arch over the blood soaked wrapping. Arch whole body jolted as he first did so fallowed by a muffled grunt.

Sniper:

Kard returned five minutes after he had left, he came back this time with an odd looking stretcher with wheels. Okay, now to get these two into the cockpit. Thank God he had that still in the cockpit from the test runs.
"We'll put him on the stretcher and I can carry the woman. I need help lifting him up here though."
He pushed the stretcher along side Arch. He looked to too heavy for Kard to handle on his own.

Dreamer:

Arch opened his eyes as he felt a rumble move next to him; he looked up. - Is that a stretcher? where...did..- He figured he should get up. letting heavy breath. He closed his eyes and started to get up. He had done it before - Just once more...- His whole body fought with him as he tried.
****

Cross finished up as Kard approached them. He was concerned But looking forward to the Ride in the 'big' one. Whisper was fine but....he was Whisper.
****
Whisper was just relaxing it the Background...He didn't want to be towed but knew it for the best...he was prideful after all but not so much to let it cost him so much...Vary much like Arch.

Sniper:

Kard moved behind Arch and helped him onto the stretcher. Arch had started to moved before he could lower it to the ground.
Once Arch was secure he moved over to the woman and gently picked her up.
"Okay, wheel him over to Knight and we'll get them all in." In instructed Cross and begun to walk back to his zoid

Dreamer:

Arch allowed him self to be helped and moved. No making too much noise.

Cross once again did as he was told. He was curious though and a bit skeptical on how Kard was going to do all of this...tow Whisper, Fit them all in the pit of his partner, But at the same time he couldn’t wait to see how... Cross fallowed behind Kard to the Zoid wheeling Arch.

Sniper:

The two minis that were sent to take care of Whisper were instructed to move back to Knight, and the loyally did so.
"Knight, bring your tail around here, we need help in."
And just like that the zoids massive tail was brought around to the front. He had to dig his tail into the ground a bit so they could get on without having to jump. Than once all were on he lifted it up to his cockpit. There were three seats total in this roomy area. The back seats were covered in blankets to keep them clean.
Kard set the woman in the middle seat and begun to strap her in safely.
"Im sorry, but you'll have to ride on my lap kid... It can only get up to three seats and I don't want to pile these two on each other."

Dreamer;

Cross fallow Kard with every movement that he was meant too. He was awestruck. He could make the Pit bigger on will. Thc...Far easier then what he had to do to modify Whisper to get to two seats. This was Awesome...of all the times to be excited....this wasn't one of them...That didn't kill his curiously.

" Okay..." He didn't care along as he got to ride...It was so hard but Cross kept his excitement contained. though as excited as he was he was just as concern...

Sniper:

After Arch was all strapped in he stored the stretcher behind the last seat. He than took a seat himself. The safety belts could not be worn because Cross would have to sit on his lap, but it would not change anything but his safety a bit.
There were so many buttons in this Zoid, more than any normal one. Once Cross was on his lap the top closed and Knight started up.
"Sorry for the short space here..." Kard had to apologies.
"So, what's you name.. you must be tired of being called Kid."
Now would be a good time to know.. there wasn't much to talk about. The kid said that he didn’t know what happened and it would be another ten minutes or so before they could reach the lab.

Dreamer:

Cross took a quick look at the others before taking his seat with Kard. Other then that he was infatuated with all the buttons and switch and any other electoral device about the Zoid, which was it’s whole.

"It's is little cramped...But I don't mind..." Cross spoke as his eyes still darted about the interior… -So amazing...to bad Loyal can't see this...Loyal..gha! That idiot. Does he even care!? – He was reminded of what just happen, the moron almost died…and it was almost like he was trying to do so.

"Hmm?..." cross looked up at Kard the best he could as he asked for his name; braking away from his thoughts.
"Oh...sorry...um, I'm…” He paused. “…called Cross...I couldn't tell you my real name though, don't remember it..." Cross laughed a little...making seem like a joke. To him, seemed to help him cope with the fact he didn't remember his past.
"Oh and Thank you...I almost forgot that too..." He made a quick attempt to look back at Arch. "I am really grateful...and I speak for him too..."

Sniper:

Knight leaned over and picked up the Mugan in his jaws, being very careful not to crush the smaller zoid. There was no guarantee that the paint would not get scratched though. Kard was focused on getting his zoid to do this task properly. He thought on that name as he did this
As soon as Mugan was secure he urged Knight forward.
"Cross huh? I knew a Cross. My Dad was good friends with his parents, I hung out with his brother. The Magisters.
We haven't seen them in four years though... The whole family was murdered." Kard sighed.
"They still haven't found the one responsible for it. It was believed to be the father that did it, but My Dad and I believe that someone else it... Arthur wouldn't do such a thing."

Dreamer;

Cross couldn't help but laugh a little as Whisper was picked up.... -Hehe...sorry Whisper...- It was so amazing, and he thought whisper was big. But to this Zoid he was nothing more then a kitten...

Cross stopped focusing on Whisper as he heard the new information. he looked down as he studying what was just said. This info was shocking to say the least. He didn't know how to deal with this, How could he deal with it. He instantly began to run over everything he could think of in his mind,

Three years ago...that’s when Arch had found him, He never really spoke of that time when he found Cross. But then again he (Cross) really didn't ask. Though he was curious about it, a part of him didn't want to know. 'Magister'...that was the name on the necklace he was found with it...It couldn't be. Or could it?...but they all were murdered. so it was unlikely, right?

"Magister..."Cross whispered as if to call the answer from the pits of his mind. He still concentrated, almost forgetting that Kard was still there... he looked up a little but at nothing in particular...all the amusing buttons and gadgets he was so infatuated with seemed to disappear...

"...T-Three years ago, huh?" He final answered pausing before he spoke again "...and they’re all dead..." Cross still looked down ward as he thought about it. They all were kill it has to be just a coincidence...It was already proven that the necklace, wasn't the only one around...so it had to be a coincidence...it just had to be.

Sniper:

Kard nodded slowly.
"The weirdest thing was that only three of them were found. The Reigina and Charlemagne were not found amongst the bodies. I hopped that they had escaped, but no one has seen them since..."
Kard could feel his eyes starting to burn as he thought of his friend's funeral. It couldn't even be open casket they were so mangled

Dreamer:

Cross looked up more as he mentioned that there was only three bodies... -five of them...Carlamain...Reigina...Cross...Arthur...- Cross tried to remember anything...he didn't even know if he was trying to remember something that he forgot...Giving up he looked back up at Hiro He only managed to give himself a headache. Though everything seemed to fit...Cross his friend brother...

"Your friend's name was it Carlamain,...Cross' brother?" He was a bit hesitant on asking. It was hard to think of a lost one that was taken, Cross knew he had experience this feeling, but it was detached at the sometime.

Sniper:

No, Charlemagne was Cross. His nickname was Cross... Roan was my friend's name." Kard looked down at Cross for a second, only able to see the top of his head. The whole time he had not noticed the mark on Cross' cheek.
The large structure of the lab could be seen. Kard wanted to charge for it, but couldn't because of the Mugan.

Dreamer:

Oh…weird..." So his brother was 'Cross', everything seemed to add up his heart sill jumped Maybe be. Just may be....at the same time he didn't want to get his hopes up. And Hiro would have recognized him, wouldn't he...well like he said it was four years ago. Probably even longer since he saw them all...

"eh...so--" Cross cut himself off as his unmatching Colored eyes caught the large structure as he looked forward.

"Is that were we are going?..." Cross pointed at the building. It looked huge!

Sniper;

"We're going to My Dad's lab. He can take your friends to the hospital, we have one in the lab, and I guess I can show you around while we wait. It's full of Zoids. Right now my Dad's working on a Gun Tiger and a Glaive Quama."
Kard paused.
"Oh, and my name is Kard..." He added with a chuckle. He got so involved with the story he forgot to mention it

Dreamer:

"Wow!" His voice had a sense of amazement to it, as if he forgot about the Story and the others, But in fact his mind was riddled with worry, confusement, annoyance, sadness, and grief. But he had learned to keep that hidden for other's sake. tough unlike Arch he didn't keep it bottled up. He let it out, but only at the 'right' times
"That's perfect! Everything works out then...I can't Wait..." - Well almost...-

"Oh so that’s you real name...that cool." He once again tried his best to look up at Kard again.

"How will I ever thank you Hiro." He called him the name in an innocent way as a child would. He never did it in a teasing or making fun way. He just liked calling others something else then what everyone else called them. It was purely innocent.

Sniper:

"You just did. Hehe, I honestly don't need anything..."
Kard didn't mind the nick name. It was MUCH better than some of the other nicknames he had been given.
As soon as the gate was visable Knight sped up a little.
"Hey now, calm down Knight. We'll get there."

Knight hissed in protest, he would have roared, but that would really suck for Mugan.

Dreamer:

Cross nodded, if anything Kard would have a friend. Looking forward he scanned the building. He could wait to get help for arch and poke around a bit.
"Knight?..So that's his name..." He laughed. He was reminded of Whisper. Speaking of which he wondered how he was doing...he couldn't help but chuckle again thinking at the size difference...

Sniper:

Kard pressed a button on his watch and the gates opened. The gates were a little more than half knight's size so he could not just simply walk over them.
"Yup, his type is a hybrid between a Berserk Furher and a Giga Gojuls, but they just called him the Giga Gojuas Nightmare... so I just called him Knight."

A few scientists could be seen moving in and out of the large building, and behind that was a large estate.
"This is Kard, I have two critically injured persons with me. Could you send some Doctors to meet us at the hanger."
Kard called over the COM link and proceeded to the large hanger on teh other side of the lab. This hanger could house a death saurer it was so large.

Dreamer;

Cross was speechless. His mouth gapped a little as the enter the building...he eye's darted about every ware as he examined everything. His face show a enormous amount of glee as he did. Just looking at him you could tell he wanted to take apart everything and examine it thoroughly and put it back together...He felt as if he was at the gates of heaven...

Sniper;

Knight set mugan down once he was on the hanger. Mugan got his own stall where he would be taken care of. Than he brought his head over to a ledge where Doctors were waiting. Once the cockpit was open they wasted no time in taking the two.
Kard sat in the seat wan waited for them to clear out.
"I have to go report to my dad, but afterward I can show you around."

Dreamer:

Cross Watch as the Doctors worked in taking them away. As they finshed Cross jumped out, and at first he started to and thaught about fallowing them; but stopping short, he would just get in the way, he knew that. so examining the floor he finally answered

"Uh...okay..." he couldn't wait. But at the same time he worried about Arch... "I would like that..." The words and the tone didn't match.

Sniper:

Kard jumped out of the cockpit after Cross. He could already feel that the little one was worried about hi friend.
"They'll be okay. We have some of the best Doc.s here! I've seen them do miracles with people ya know?"
He rest a hand on Cross' shoulder.
"Common, I'll show you arou-"

"Kard! Where have you been Damnit! You were to be home an hour ago!
What am I going to do with you? We had Zoids that need to be tested, shi-"
Dr. Fox was already yelling before he could actually see the two.
Once he was on the plat form he paused, eyes wide.
"Charlemagne?" Was the only thing he could say as he set eyes on the little boy and his cross mark.

Dreamer:

Cross looked up At Kard as he rested his hand on his shouldered. He practically Jumped as he heard a yell. Looking in it's direction he was as wide-eyed as the Man. -What!?-

He took a step back at the surprizement. -What!?- the shock was apparent on his face and stance. He was dumbstruck. He just stood there.

Sniper;

Kard was just as dumbstruck as Cross was... probably more. He looked from his father to Cross and repeated the action over and over. It was now that he noticed the Cross scar on Cross' face.

Dr. Fox rushed over to the little boy and looked at his face. Tears begun to well up in his eyes.
"Charlemagne Magister, That is you!"
This was almost too much. Here was his best friend’s youngest son, alive! Now the Dr. was even more curious about the two persons that were taken into the hospital a moment ago. He didn't get a good look at them, but they were with Cross... and one of them was said to be female. Maybe it was his sister Reigina.
"Thank God, you're alive!"

Dreamer:

'uha...' he still didn't know what to say...he watched as the good doctor looked to almost cry...he felt like doing the same.
"you...you know...who I am?...."

Sniper:

Dr. Fox was a little puzzled at first, the kid had amnesia? After al these years. He must be so confused right now. Quickly the Dr. Withdrew his wallet and opened it to where the small pictures were kept. Most of them were of a young Kard, but there were others of another family... He flipped to one with two families in a group picture. A young man had his arm around Kard's neck and his other hand on a small boy's head. There was an albino lady with both her hands on the youngest boy and smiling warmly. The three adults were trying to be proper about the pic, and smiled warmly at the screen.
The Dr. Pointed to the young kind with the cross mark on his face.
"That's you son." He pointed to the older male. "That's your brother Roan, this is your sister Regina." He shifted to the albino lady. than his parents.
"And that's Arthur and Gwenavier. The other two are Kard and I."

Kard watched his father go over the pic. He remembered that day clearly... that was a week before the family was murdered.
In the back Knight hummed and lifted his head a bit so he could catch the action.
Kard's hand was still gently on Cross's shoulder. He didn't care to move it...

Dreamer:

Cross stared at the picture unblinking and with total astonishment, his stomach dropped; that little boy was in fact him...He had a family...still nothing came from his gapped mouth, hardly even air. It couldn't speak. He wanted to stare at the picture for a life time. All of a sudden his eyes started to water up and tears soon slid down his face. He was crying for them, and he didn't even know them. Even at first he didn't even realize he was crying till it became increasing harder to see. It was as if he was floating in nothingness as he still continued to admire the photo...He had a family...and they had loved him, he could tell it was on everyone of there faces…he hoped he wanted to know, had he loved them just as much?…

Sniper:

Dr. Fox could see that it was increasingly hard for the boy to keep his cool. With a warm smile he removed the photo from the safety of the wallet and wrapped his arms around Cross. He didn't have to say anything, just let the thought sink in. It must be hard for this little boy to be hit mentally with something like this.

Kard let his father have a moment with Cross. He felt horrible for not recognizing him in the first place. While deep in thought Kard caught a few of the scientists still in the room looking at his dad with their mouths ajar. It was like looking at a unicorn or something.

Sniper;

"There there Boy, It's going to be okay."
Dr. Fox lightly pat Cross on the back. He tried to think of something to say, nothing wanted to come out. All he could do is sit there and comfort the boy with soft pats and assuring him everything would be alright.

Not long after Cross broke down a scientist burst through the door in a panic.
"DR! It's out there, on the hill." He gasped and pointed out toward the door.

Dr. Fox looked down at the scientist and let go of Cross. Immediately he stood up.
"Don't send any zoids out, try and get a clear picture of it from the scope."
The Dr. Rushed to the ladder.
"Kard, take Charlemagne to the house and show him around."

Kard looked over the rail at the scientist than back at Cross. His dad already knew he was going to. They went nuts every time one of them saw "It". The Dr. Has been trying to get clear pics of this thing for the longest time now, with no success...

Dreamer:

The boy let go of the Doctor when he was released, He still didn't know what to do...What was happening... -Pull it together Cross...- the boy rubbed the tears away with the sleeve of his given coat. The held the title 'Loyalguard' evidence that the coat wasn't previously his. But given to him by Arch as was everything he practicably owned. As Cross finished rubbing his eyes; he brandished a weak smile...knowing was better then not knowing. Though the name, 'Carlamain' was going to take some getting use too...

Cross watched as everything went crazy at this sudden appearance of the 'it', out of the corner of his eye. As it was he was still staring at the ground. After a sniff or two He finally looking up at Kard , he had a confused and weary face, but it held a simple smile. That said 'I'm okay...' he just needed to get that out.

“Thank you..." It was all he could say...and this family had already given-blessed him so much

Sniper:

Kard lead them out the back door of the hanger. The front was now crowded with scientists and workers. There was a black jeep waiting outside for them.
As Kard reached for his keys he looked down at Cross. It was still hard to find something to say to him. Here was the little brother of his best friend...
"Hey... I have a lot of mini projects back at the house. Maybe you would like to look through some of them."
He rubbed the back of his neck and chuckled.

Just behind Kard the hill was in perfect view, it was far out there. There was a dark mist settling on the top, weaving between trees and even engulfing some of them. Two red eyes sliced through this mist and glared at Cross. Two streams of fire shot from the mist just a bit from where the eyes were. The fire started out as a bright red, but turned to blue only seconds after it shot fourth from the beast nostrils.
-Remember my words... You were spared because of your innocence. Keep it or we shall meet again and mercy will have fled in fear from you. -
It seemed like those words were coming from behind Cross, yet no one was there. The tone was dark and serious.... but at the same twisted way, it was as if they were mocking the little boy.
After the last word was spoken the mist slowly drifted over the red eyes. It was if it had vanished into the darkness.
Loud clashes could be heard on the other side of the massive hanger as workers and scientists scrambled to catch this thing.

Dreamer:

Cross still had a hard time swallowing the past events it was so hard to get the concept. Cross fallowed Kard out of the hanger; he still when over everything in his mind over and over and over again. Cross looked up at Kard as he spoke. -Minis?...- Cross had always been found of them and now he had a sense to the reason why. He smiled a bit.

"Yeah that would--" Cross just stopped talking as his eyes just caught the Mist, his small smile seemed to disappeared as he did, and his head started to feel as if it was slowly being squeezed. His eyes winched little and the pain only seemed to worsen as he heard the voice. -Gha! What is that!?...- Cross looked back, no one. He looked up at Kard. He wasn't sure if even if he heard it. -Innocence?...Why does that seemed so...- A image flashed through his mind it, A woman leading him by the arm, a jackal mask. It was broken up and it came as quickly as it went. His head throbbed even more. He looked a little distressed as he grabbed his head with one hand as if to conceal the pain.

Sniper;

Kard looked around as soon as Cross started to flip. Nothing. There was some fog on the hill, dark fog, but other than that there was nothing strange.
-he must be scared of the dark- Was the only thought he could come up with quickly.
He moved around Cross and placed his arm around him.
"Common. Let's get to the jeep and hurry to the house. It's safe there. Everything's okay."

Dreamer:

Cross looked up as Kard put his Arm around him, He looked at the hill nothing...he looked back at Kard... -did he not hear that?!...let alone see it!?- cross shock is head, was he going insane...maybe his brain was just tired from all the events, or possibly something else? His head slowly stopped throbbing disappearing just as easy as it came.

"al-alright..." Cross dropped his hand and started toward the jeep as Kard suggested. Maybe it was just... ... ...

That was it, he couldn't find something to fill that blank

Sniper:

Kard hopped into the jeep and waited no time in getting it moving. He looked over at Cross several times to see if he was doing alright. Just all of the sudden he was scared, or seemed to be. Maybe the sock JUST hit him.

The house was visible once they passed the field of gigantic hangers and a large field where zoids were test walked. The house was HUGE, it should have been labeled a mansion every time mentioned. Just by looking at it gave off that the family was well off... the walls were a marble color and the roof was a glossy black, real class. There were several statues in the back of zoids and angels.
They were looking at the back side of the house. The whole lab, hospital, zoid hangers and MANY testing fields were all in the "Back yard" of this place.

Dreamer:

Cross Stared at the Dashboard partiality the whole time as he was in the jeep, until he caught a glimpses of Kard looking at him off and on. This wasn’t the time for this...the way he was acting. he didn't even know why he was acting this way.
Cross final looked around at the scenery everything looked so...so awesome!
the hangers, the Zoids, the Mansion!

"Wow!" cross looked over at Kard with a big smile.
" So you REALLY do live here!, What was that-all of this-" Cross flipped around to look at the Hanger they just lifted keeping his sight away from the hill. "just your Backyard?! Wow.." Cross flipped back around and clasped his hand on his head in unbelief as he took his seat once more. "This-this is all just- Improvable!"

Sniper:

Kard smiled at seeing the kid finally perk up and laughed at his awe. To be honest Kard was still impressed with the place, how big it was, but probably not as amased as Cross is.
"Yup. My Dad owns the whole company that develops zoids, minis, and weapons."
Kard couldn't look down to see Cross' expression as he now had to park.

Dreamer;

So the Developer of the Zoids is your DAD! that is soooooo COOL! WOW I wounder if Whisper is of the kind!" Cross laughed a little as he though about it more "psh..That Stuborn Zoid...Heh, I bet he had fun with that!" Cross contained his excitement and the want to jump out of the jeep while it was moving.

Sniper;

Well..." Kard parked the jeep and removed the key after turning the car off. He jingled them a bit.
"He didn't invent the zoids, some of them. But ultimately he experiments with them to create new and better ones. Sometimes revive old ones." He laughed.
"Maybe he was. We deal with a bunch of stubborn zoids. Knight was one of them... they almost had him destroyed because he was so stubborn."

Dreamer:

" Yeah?...Heh, well at least Knight listens to you...And who would want to Destory such an awesome Zoid!" He laughted as he was reminded of how Whisper was picked up like a little kitten...

Sniper:

"He gave the scientists a lot of problems. He was the proto type for three other hybrid zoids." Kard explained as he unlocked the back door and held it open for Cross.
Inside looked to be much bigger than the outside. It was so clean too. The walls were lined with priceless paintings of angels. In every corner there was a strategically places Zoid statue, along with some angels.
The theme color seemed to be red, gold and silver.

Dreamer:

"....Three other hybrids?" Cross was so intrusted in what Kard had to say, He had always loved Zoids, well as long as he can remember. He fallowed Kard to the house-er Mansion and was awe struck as he entered. It was huge! Even more then what it looked like. cross wanted to dart about the room and examine every little thing...But he knew better...besides this was just the appatizer he couldn't wait to see what more there was, not to mention the spoken mini Zoids that Kard talked about.

Sniper;

Kard nodded as he placed the key im his pocket.
"I've only gotten to see one of them. The Giga Furher."
He paused as he tried to remember the otehr two.
"hmm, Berserk Gojulas... aaand the Giga Gojulas Furher? I think those were the other two. I don't hear much about them."

Dreamer:

Cross still admired the room as kard spoke of the three other Zoids...
"That's quite a list...so Knight was the platform for those, wow...That's-No wonder he is so big!" Spoken like a true little kid as he looked back up at Kard.

Sniper:

"He's the largest of the four. Dad didn't think it was necessary for a zoid to be so big. Personally I like bigger zoids."

(( Let's take a moment from the RP to laugh at that sentence....
AHAHAH! Okay. ))

Kard lead Cross up the stairs, taking a right once they came to a split, and continued down another long hallway. There were many family pictures up here, to include the Megastar family. There were also several door along the way, but Kard didn't give them a second look.
"Maybe, if the weather is good, you can take Knight on a test run. He didn't seem to have a problem with you."

Dreamer:

Cross Fallowed Kard like a lost puppy as he lead the way through the house, It was so extravagant. And to think that his family had known them, that he was not a stranger to them. Cross' unmatched eyes gazed at the portraits as he passed they where so intrusting, and articulate. Finally his eyes caught the sight if the Magistures, all five of them. Once again he was in a trance and slowed his step a bit. It was so life changing to see a familiar looking younger self, and not to know anything about it, about who you where. Had you changed much? Are you someone else? Or are you that same little boy....?

Cross mind was pulled out of it's contemplating as Kard mentioned letting him pilot Knight.
"Oh Yeah!? That would Be great!...-wait..." he paused as he was reminded of the stubborn factor. " Are you sure? Would he mind?...I mean-he is-well you said he was a bit stubborn..."

Sniper:

Kard took notice of Cross' trance when he passed by the picture. It must have been hard for him and Kard felt bad, hoping that the picture didn't stir up any sadness in the little boy.
"True, Knight is a stubborn Zoid, but he didn't mind you sitting on my lap the way here and he might let you take him for a ride." Kard thrust his hands into his pockets and turned to face Cross with a grin.
"If not I can always bribe him, Knight LOVES a good bath. Though it's a pain for me." He laughed.

Dreamer;

Cross nodded as he looked up at kard.
"Okay..." Cross laughed a little he could see that Kard was trying to keep his mood light. And cross did figure it was unfair to others to mop around. So he put a smile on his face. It wasn't a fake one. He did find Hiro to be quite entertaining and fun....
"That's funny, though. I wouldn't take him for one to like a good bath..." Cross laughted

Sniper;

When Kard started up again, hey we're not but a few feet from the picture when they came to a room. There was still more halls, but no more doors.
carefully he opened the door for Cross. On the other side of the door were more stairs, spiraling upward. No wonder Kard was so fit...

Kard's room was at the top of the mansion. The ceiling and a huge dome glass window where the majority of light came from. There was a way to cover the window, but they were left open for now. There were many tools and minis walking about the room, none of them were startles to see the two.

=====

It was hours before Rei had finally woken up. All her wounds were patched together and taken care of. No more blood, no more dirt. And she now wore a white night gown, her torn cloths were gone.
As she tried to sit up a sharp pain stabbed at her side. She grumbled and fell back. There was no one else on the room, she was alone in the dark room, with only the light of the moon to break the darkness.
-...This place.... again.-

Dreamer:

Cross Kepted up with Kard, And stopped as he relived the steps. They seemed endless. Trucking up them He lost count at fifty...Then there it was The promised room with all the 'Toys'.
Cross mouth dropped open as he looked at everything it was as if the gates of heaven had opened up.
Cross Looked over and up at Kard with his face beaming with his excitement. How he could contain himself was a puzzle all it's own
"Hiro, your room is so...COOL!"

Sniper:

Kard looked down at Cross with a smile.
"Thanks, I do all my own research on Minis up here. They help out a lot."
He looked them over. They continued on with their favorite chores not bothering to pause to look at the two.
"Hey, I have so many... why don't you go pick one out and you can have it."

Dreamer:

Cross looked from Kard, too join him in the looking over the 'toys', His miss-Matched eyes pranced with glee as her watched them perform there dutes. One stook out in particular. A Monkey, That engricly zipped about the room, excitedly. It was a bit weird looking with it's colors but Cross was amused by it's 'play'. He still fallowed the critter as he listened to Kard. It took him a second to registered what kard said about him having one for his own.
As the younger boy looked up his face had the delight of Christmas morning shown all over his face.

"ARE you SERIOUS?!" A excited little boy shockingly spoke as he looked up at his new found idle.

Sniper;

Kard nodded.
"Course I am. I wouldn't say something like that and not mean it."

Dreamer:

Cross' eyes seemed to dance as he looked over at the little Zoids as the did there given work. Dude Hiro was sooo cool!

"Ah, which one?..." Cross spoke taking to himself out loud, he did this often especially if he was excited or in deep thought, Arch never really seemed to be bothered by it. And it did help to know where his thinking was at.

Sniper:

Kard pulled his arm up and looked at his watch. He twisted the ring around it a little bit before pressing the two buttons farthest apart together.
All the minis in the room suddenly paused and lined up in rows of tens in front of Cross. They were really lining up for Kard, but he was behind Cross at the moment so it worked out.

All the minis still chirruped and growled as they stood there, but that was just a show of their personality... Kard liked it when they did that. It made appear more alive.

Dreamer:

Cross laughed a little as the Minis lined up, Though a boy, he still understood why they did so. Though it was rather amusing still. all the different movements and sounds. They were truly alive. As he was always told by by Arch.

Cross looked once more up at Kard, with that still boyish grin, of glee. he quickly scanned them over line by line, till once stood out to him. He knew that was the one. The funky little stripped Monkey-like zoid, Bouncing up and down excitedly, still holding it's rank...he laughed to himself as he thought how much fun it would be to introduce him to Arch.

Sniper:

As Kard watched Cross visually weed through all of the minis his watch pinged.

"Kard, we need you down here now." His father’s voice called over the watch-COM. He didn’t sound pleased at all

Kard sighed and looked back at Cross.
"You can wait here if you like, I have to go attend to something with my Dad. I don't think this is going to be pretty... I promise when I get back we can go check on your friend okay?"

Dreamer;

Cross ripped his eyes away from the mini as Kard spoke.
"Okay." He nodded. " I'll be here....Oh and Thank you! So much." He added as he looked up at Kard.
"Good luck with your Dad...."

Sniper;

Kard nodded than quickly exited the room. He was curious as to what this was all about, maybe they caught that weird Zoid.

As soon as Kard left the room all the minis looked up at Cross, as if waiting for something. Some still hopped about, anxious to get back to work, but other sit perfectly still.

Dreamer:

Cross cuckled as he looked back at the minis after watching Kard leave.

"Well," Cross aproched that one mini that had perviously caught his eye, as it still bounced happily. He stopped in front of it crouching down he got a better look.

"I think I like you...Do you want to come with me?" He question the Striped mini.

Sniper:

The room quickly grew cold only minutes after Kard had left. All the minis, aside from the monkey in front of Cross, begun to scatter about the room and placing themselves under the bed, shelves, and any other thing they could find. A soft breathing echoed throught the room, as if someone were trying to breath through a metal toube.

Dreamer:

Cross looked about the room as the other minis scattered, What was happening? Cross slowly stood to his feet after he could hear this strange 'breathing'.

"Hiro?...." Cross called as he looked at the door before looking back at the small Zoid. What was happening.

Sniper;

The 'breathing' came to a sudden stop. A cold hand was placed on Cross' shoulder. The tips were pointed as if the being had claws. They made a soft clanking noise as the fingers shifted to a tighter grip. Along with this hold a dark shadow, thick as oil, fell about cross.
"Hello Charlemagne..." A demonic voice eerily cooed from behind Cross.

Dreamer:

Cross froze as he felt the cold hand rest on his shoulder. his body tensed a bit as the gripped tightened. Deep dread and familiarity filled his body, pricked at it. He didn't dare turn around as his real name was said. Something told to not too. every ounce of his being was terrified. He didn't know why. Cross swallowed hard as he tried to seem unafraid.

"Hay..." He squeaked out trying to sound brave.

Sniper:

"Do you know why I'm hear little one?" She leaned her head closer to his. Her blood stained hair rolled gently over his shoulder.
The last remaining mini scattered off with the rest of them as a swift ping echoed over thought the room.
"Brave brave... little one."

Dreamer:

Cross uneasily shook his head as this 'person' spoke. He had a hard time even doing that. His heart was racing. Where was Arch? He usally shows up when something like this happened. When he was scared like this. he didn't dare to even look at what just slid on to his shoudler, he probluy couldn't anyway.

Sniper:

She leaned even closer to his ears. The cold mask hovered just behind his ear. Her fiery crimson eyes brightened as the lights in the room dimmed even more.
"Remember what I told you Charlemagne? It was very important... It's the reason I didn't kill you along with your family. Why I have yet to smell your blood on my hands." She hissed quietly in his ear.
"Tell me little one. Tell me what I told you…"

Dreamer;

At first Cross didn't know what to say, let alone do. What was she talking about. His head hurt. Who was this!?
"'Remember my words... You were spared because of your innocence. Keep it or we shall meet again and mercy will have fled in fear from you.'" Cross didn't know where that came from he just quitly spoke it as if trained to do so. What was happening...

He tried to say something more, But nothing came...

Sniper;

"Very good little one. " She gently stroked his hair and walked around to face him. With her free hand she placed it on his chin and lifted it so they may make eye contact. The cold iron claws scratched his chin gently, but not enough to draw blood or leave a mark.
"Remember that and you won't end up like Arch... or your family."

Dreamer:

a shiver ran up his back as he felt his hair being stroked, but something more pierced his mind, as it happened. A faint knowing that his mother use to do that.

Cross was frozen he couldn't move, where was Arch?, He kept wondering this though he knew why he couldn't come to him.
Cross' eyes started to tear up as this stranger scratched his chin, and her words caused the tears to run. But he couldn't look away from those crimson eyes.

So she had done it, she killed his Family and almost killed Arch.

Sniper:

"Good boy." She whispered.
There would be a high pitched ringing noise in Cross' left ear. The lights flickered and the feeling of the Judge's cold hand left his head. Her eyes flashed as she was engulfed in fire. The fire only burning her form. Cross would feel the heat for only a moment, but as the fire begun to vanish so did the feeling. The pinging would continue until the room was the same way it was before the Judge showed up.

Dreamer:

A shiver ran up his back as he heard her words, he flinched at the sound and as he felt her hand, But he didn't move, What was wrong with him. He was Scared, he couldn't move to save his life if he needed too. He knew this fear he had felt it before.

He remained there frozen, not knowing what to do. Not moving, even as the room came to normal. His mind was racing it was like a competition between his heart and his mind they where running so fast. His head was numb and his heart felt like it was going burst out of his chest. But he wouldn't move, and it was driving him crazy.

Sniper:

Kard slowly opened the door and peeked in. In his hands he carried several large manila envelopes. His father had managed to get a good picture of the strange zoid on the hill, but good was still not good enough to give away any secrets about it. The good Doctor took out his frustration on Kard and many of the other poor scientists in the room. All of that was still fresh in Kard's weary mind. He was hopping that maybe talking with Charlemagne a bit would help clear all of that out. The little boy seemed interested in mechanics as well.
"Charlemagne, I'm back. Did you find a good one?"

Dreamer:

Cross dropped to his knees as he felt himself fainly be able to move, He hadn't heard Kard enter or speak to him, He was still in shock to what had just happened. His eyes burned as they streemed with tears. his hands fell limpy in his lap. He was spaced out in his thaughs

---

Arch slowly opened his eyes to a dark room, Where was he? still coming off the medication He dozily tried to sit up, As he did a sharp pain stabbed at his side, he grunted. That wound it was still there. That didn't stop him from wanting to sit up. But as he tried to raise, he felt something tight around his wrist that wouldn't Allow him to get up farther. He made a frustrated grunt as he tried to focus his eyes on what was binding him. As his eyes finely focused he noticed that two leather straps held him down to a hospital bed. What was this, he wasn't crazy why would they tie him down. letting out a aggreated sigh he flopped himself back on to the bed. he must have tired to leave early or knocked out one of the doctors. The braces where the only thing that kept him leaving the room anyway, so that's what he figured.

Sniper:

Kard rushed over to Cross's side with a gasp. This was the first time in a while Kard had actually panicked over what to do. Machines were easy, but a little kid?
"Charlemagne? What's wrong?" He spoke quickly as the words were the only thing that would pop up in his head.
Hesitantly he placed a hand on his shoulder and shook him gently.

---

Rei had been up for hours, just starring at the curtain in a trance like state. Her sides stung as if a wild animal were constantly scratching her with its brutal claws, but she paid it little mind. The pain was all she had to cope with her deep thoughts. The sound of liquid dripping through the IV was the only noise in the room aside from her breathing. It only made the dark room seem more dull.
That man popped up in her mind several times. He was injured too... and in the same building.
"Run red warrior... it's all you have left... " she whispered to herself.

Dreamer:

As Kard shock Cross, it to say the least woke him up, from his trance. He looked like a small animal frozen in the head lights of a car. He blinked as the sight of Kard registered in his mind.

"She....it...That thing, killed my, my....Parents" He manged as the tears fell down his face faster,, though his voice was quite and angry.
"-My family..." he swallowed he seemed to be talking to Kard as he looked down but he was speaking to himself.

----

Arch, let out a annoyed growl as he yanked on one of the braces that binded his wrist. He wanted to get up, and do something anything, but lay here in pain and to cope with his thoughts and worst of all, memories. That growl seemed to brake the sicking silence of the darkened room.

Sniper:

Kard dropped all of the envelops on the floor. One of them slid open as it fell upside own. The contents spilled out in a mess of pictures on the floor. The one on the top was of a shadowed zoid with pricing red eyes. A loud noise rang out from those pictures. It was like a screech of a mountain lion and a horse mixed and warped together. The effect was the same as a person scraping a chalk board with iron nails, or a knife across a ceramic plate.
Kard, oddly, did not hear this noise. He figured this memory suddenly came crashing down on Cross like a one ton elephant on a small dog.
He was left speechless and searching for something comforting to say.

---

Rei looked over at the wall. She could hear frustrated grunts coming from that direction. It had to be him. Without a second thought she ripped the IV from her wrist and begun to sit up. The pain only got worse, but it was no where near stopping her. She gasped to try and relive some of it and continued to move.

Dreamer:

Cross' eyes moved to the pictures that had spilled on the floor, A loud noise Ripped into his ears as he did.
"Ahaa" Cross' hands darted to his ears as the sound seemed to increase. He grabbed at his head, his hands clasped to his head. He remembered that beast, He Curled in to some sort of a ball as he was on his knees the sound was painful.

-----

Arch sighed heavily as he flopped himself once more on to the bed, The beds weren't even comfortable to lay on. He shook his head as he looked up and stared at the ceiling. He thought that he could hear something, sighing he brushed it off as just his mind.

Sniper:

Kard looked at Cross than the pictures, and than back to Cross. Quickly he shuffled them back into the envelope and tossed them aside.
"Hey, What's going on?" He spoke softly and begun to run the kid's back.
It was the only thing he could come up with.

---

Rei slowly opened the door to Arch's room. None of the nurses walked the halls, so she was able to make it there with the only trouble being her wounds. She held onto the wrist where the IV needle had been to prevent blood from spilling to the floor. It was a futile attempt, but she held on anyways.
Upon entering she frowned to see his strapped to the bed. Her crimson eyes faintly glowed in the dark room, and her pure white skin gave her the appearance of a ghost. Equally white hair hung over her face obscuring many details.
Scars littered her arms and legs, they were dull pinkish grey gashes no shorter than an inch and some were long enough to wrap around her limbs several times. The end of some vanished under her white gown.
"...were they able to fix your side wound?" She whispered as she crossed the floor.

Dreamer:

the screaming seemed to stop as the pictures where stuffed away. Cross slowly looked up as he uncovered his ears, What was happening. He looked up at Kard,

"She came...." Cross spoke softly, it was the only thing that could come out off his mouth, he was still in shock.

---

Arch looked from the ceiling to the door as the lighting on the wall change. Looking to the door he couldn't believe who he saw, it was that woman. What was she doing out of bed? They didn't tie her down? well she probably didn't struggle. Unlike Arch, how you had to do such to not get him to leave. He looked away and back at the ceiling

"What are you doing up?..." He answer softly as he tried to make his voice sound caring, but it was obvious that he was annoyed, at not being able to get up him self.

Sniper:

Who is 'she'?" Kard placed his other hand on Cross' other shoulder and he tried to speak calmly.
The first thing that popped into his mind was that it could possibly be a ghost, of his Mom maybe. The memories must be paying with his mind. He suddenly felt very bad for asking who "she" was.

---

"I am leaving this place. I do not wish for it to come to ruin." Rei shiverd as she whispered.
"But I wanted to thank you before I left."
The sentence was finished just as she reached the side of the bed. Her eyes focused on his eyes and his cross scar, without blinking once.

Dreamer:

The monster that, Hurt Arch and Killed MY Family!" He answered with despising taste. It wasn't meant for Kard. He felt bad for saying it so rudely. It wasn't right of him. Arch had-yes, Arch, had taught him better.

"I'm sorry Hiro," He apologized after he realized how rude he was.

"...I don't know..." he shook his head as he looked back down. "I don't know if she was even here," He mumbled to himself.

"You didn't see her, did you?" He looked back up at Kard, his eyes burning. He wanted to cry, but he fought back tears. He wouldn't cry. He thought, he was being such a cry baby; and he needed to stop.

---

Arch own crimson eyes looked back at Rei's as she approached the bed.

"That's foolish..." he answered, knowing full well that he couldn't get up and stop her. The judge seemed to be out for his life as well as her's, so it was foolish to leave when it wasn't appropriate. If the Judge really wanted to bring down the building with them in it. She would have done it already.

Sniper:

Kard shook his head. He had seen no one in the halls of the estate. He removed his hands from Cross' shoulders and pressed a button on his watch.
Two snake-like minis slithered up exactly three feet from each other. Both stopped five feet from Cross and Kard.
"Access surveillance from the last ten minuets." He commanded the two.
The two snakes faced each other and opened their mouths. The screen looked like a COM-link inside a zoid. The image started up just as Kard had left the room and all the Minis looked at Cross waiting for something. Everything was normal, no lights flickered the temperature remained the same. The Minis did back off, but they didn't retreat under the bed, they all just continued to do whatever it was before the attention command. It looked as if Cross was having a nightmare, and acted as if something creepy was there, but the screen showed that Cross remained alone throughout the time. The video stopped just as Kard returned to the room.
Kard wasn't sure what to make of this.

---

"She wishes to kill my family... My brother and I are the last." She placed a hand on the strap closest to her.
"Foolish, maybe, but we are both marked and she will hunt us down."
As she continued to speak she begun to undo the strap on his wrist.
"You should think about leaving as well. Her attacks are not at random, the perfect time is selected... everything is set up weather by her own hands or by fate."

Dreamer:

Cross Watched the screen with unbelief. He couldn't believe what he was watch, Nothing, Nothing seemed to have happened. Cross' face crunched with a aggregated scowl of confusion, Ripping his eyes away from the screen to look up at Kard.

"I'm not crazy..." He said in a defensive voice. "That's not what happened..." before he could stop the words from coming out of his mouth he looked down, -It did happen, didn't it?....I felt, It was there....it happened...right?- Cross lost himself to thought as he rubbed the back of his head, wondering, if it just wasn't his mind. What if? He really was just....Crazy, schizophrenic.

Does a crazy person know that they crazy...Cross tried to depict this in his mind. He couldn't have been Crazy. No way.

--

Arch's eyes moved from her's, to the same cross-like mark she bore on he face. It was, in the situation he was in; regretfully the best rout and it was safer for others to leave. And Cross was no longer safe with him and....wait. Brother? Arch looked away as he put every suspicion together about Cross and his 'lost' family, the necklace everything.

"Cross. I have to see him first..." Arch spoke softy, it was a obvious answer in agreement to leave, he didn't like it here anyway; But he wouldn't drop off Cross, without nothing and in a place he didn't like. But he would leave him in a place he was welcomed and it was in his best interest.
Arch looked back up at the woman as he felt his wrist become free.
"After, that...I'll leave," He added as he searched for her eyes, past her long hair.

"But, it still foolish for you to go off on your own. Your still injured and you don't even have a partner, from what I see." He continued, referring to a Zoid. And even as far fallen Arch was, he still looked in to other's best interests before his own. it was funny he hadn't talked that much in one sentence, in a long time.

Sniper:

Kard stared in disbelief. Nothing had happened, yet this boy was convinced that there was something there. He must have had such a rough time.
"Maybe they messed with the camera system..." He spoke hesitantly and rubbed the back of his neck.
Kard was unsure if he should support the story that Cross had given him.

---

"Cross..." She repeated with a soft whisper as the strap was finally undone.
The name was familiar, but didn't ring up any bells.
She turned her head slightly toward Arch. The pale crimson glow from her deep crimson eyes faintly peered through her long white hair.
"I have no choice. I have no Zoid of my own and I do not wish to keep you in more danger than you are already in."
She backed away from the bed a little. The shadow once again fell over her eyes.
"I know she will peruse me first because of her promise... it will give you time to flee from here."

Dreamer:

Cross made a soft sigh though from it's tone you could tell he was upset. He remained Silent, still contemplating if he was crazy.

"I felt her touch, I heard her words...It was real..." He mumbled to himself, as he rubbed his swollen eyes. -It had happened? didn't it.....Hiro must think I'm crazy...maybe I am...-

---

"I don't care about that..." He growled softly as he moved over to Undo the other strap on his wrist. Feeling a sharp twinge at his side, as he rolled over more too fiddled with the binding.
"You wont make it that far from here on your own..." He grunted as he almost had the binding undone, knowing that she could leave at any given moment.

Sniper:

Kard placed his hands gently on Cross' shoulders. His mind raced as the thought of something to say to the little boy. The only thing he could come up with was a quick change in subject. It worked with his Dad, sometimes.
"Did you find a mini you wanted?"
Of course he felt stupid after speaking for not being able to help or stick with the problem.

---

Outside the door footsteps echoed trough the hallway. It sounded to be just one plump nurse making her rounds.
Rei rushed over to the bedside and begun to help remove the rest of the straps.
"How can you hope to care for others if you do not care for yourself as well?" She whispered to Arch without looking at him.

Dreamer:

Cross dropped his hand from his face as he could tell that Kard was trying to change subjects, Arch did that a lot. And it would be for the best. Cross looked back at Kard forcing a weak smile.

"Yeah..." He managed to speak out loud as he pushed him self off the ground to a stand.

---

"Retribution..." He quietly responded as he managed his other wrist free with her help. Hearing the footsteps Arch stopped moving and remained perfectly still, tough it was uncomfortable in the position he was in

Sniper:

Kard pressed another button on his watch and the two snake minis traveled out of the door. The best thing to do would be to have his Dad look over the footage for anything that they missed. Of course he didn't say a word for Cross' sake, instead he gave his message through certain signals, much like Morris code, to the minis to relay to Dr. Fox.
"That's good." He returned the weak smile with and equally weak one and stood up.
"So who's the lucky one?"

"..you m-"
Rei turned around and faced the door. Slowly she knelt to the grown and placed a hand on the floor. Her other hand smoothly adjusted her braw strap before it too was placed on the floor.

The nurse slowly walked up to the door. Her large flabby frame covered the window. No wonder they chose her to look after Arch. She was big, wide, and most likely strong. Rei hoped that she would walk away.

Dreamer:

um..."Cross rubbed the side of his neck next to his shoulder, where he could have swear that thing had touched him. he scanned the Minis once more and his gaze landed on the excited little monkey.
"Ihat one..." He pointed to the strangely stripped zoid. " It looks to have some character..." He smile grew a bit to help him cope with what just happened.. they both seemed uneasy about it.

--
Arch did make a sound as his waist started to p***k with pain. -leave already woman....- He reminded quite as he had a faint remembrance of her holding him down once before. He held a look of spite on his face as he did.

Sniper;
"That's a good choice. That model is called the Monkey V. They're very lively. " Kard's smile widened a bit.
"That one especially is pretty fun."

---

Rei looked back at Arch than forward again at the lady. The door slowly started to open. Light spilled into the room as the door opened wider.
The woman adjusted her small nurse's hat before fully looking into the door.
"What are you do-" She croaked in her oddly deep voice. But before the sentence was finished she begun to flail her arms in the air and puff up her cheeks, as if trying to swim for the surface of a deep lake. Her feet stiffened together as if they were bound together. The lights flickered just a split second before she started to act like that.

Dreamer:

Are they!? Cool!" Cross tried to act as if nothing happened. Maybe he it was just a vivid daydream...
Cross dropped his hand off the back of his neck, it was best to forget what had happened. "Awesome...I can't wait..." He added as he looked back over at the mini.

--

Arch glance went to the lights as they flickered and the back to the woman as he shot up to a sit ignoring the pain it caused, what had happened? What was wrong with her? Arch reached over to the IV and the other devices that were attached to his skin, He gaudily took them out in a hurry, not caring what the side affects could be, as he started to get up

Sniper:

Kard smiled and looked down at the monkey V.
"You have a name in mind? We didn't give that one a name yet."

---

The woman fell over a moment later, looking white as pure snow. Rei knelt beside the large woman. Gently she cupped her hands over the woman’s ears than slid them to her neck, just under the jaw. No pulse...
"She is facing her judgment for life now." Rei whispered and looked back at Arch.
"It is best we do not stay any longer than needed..."

Dreamer:

"Um..." Cross pondered for a moment; as a name came to mind his grin grew. "Psych..." Cross laughed after he spoke, trying to make things more light hearted. Maybe it was just him.

It was amusing name for such a Mini. He looked the mini once again, then back at Kard.

----

Getting out of the Bed Arch tossed the devices that where previously in his arm and hands to the side and on the bed. The heart rate monitor made a soft constant beep; as it no longer could read a pulse. looking over at the woman and hearing the words; he closed his eye and shook his head. Another dead, but How?

Arch was fitted in a long white hospital gown, the clothing he had one was neatly folded, and resting on a nearby table. Along with his equipment, save his knife and gun. Letting out a agitated sigh, Arch moved over to the table in a slight swagger. Grabbing his pants he quickly slipped them on and discarded the gown on the table.

It was best from them to leave; he had too. He wish to have seen Cross before though. but it was safer for that boy with out him, or so Arch thought. He wouldn't leave Cross with nothing to go along with a broken heart. Looking around; contently his crimson eyes dropped back on the table to see a pen as well as paper. Scribbling down a message and brief explanation of why he left, as well and a few numbers with a password. Finishing Arch signed it an left it for Cross. -That boy will hate me for this...- He taught letting out another sigh as he dropped the pen. Removing a necklace from his bag, he placed it neatly on the letter. And walked away from it. Just like that.

Sniper:

Rei watched as Arch wrote the letter. It must have been a hard thing to do. He was so wanting to say good-bye to his friend, and here is ready to leave just like that. She felt sorry for him, and hurt even more when there was nothing she could do about it.
There would be more time to comfort as he had already stated that he would not let her go off alone... now they had to re-claim the Mugen Liger and get out before anyone woke up.
She looked back at Arch as he placed the necklace on the paper, but only for a moment before she walked out of the door and started down the hall.

Dreamer:

Arch fallow Rei out the door, They had to get out of this building and find Whisper. Arch moved quietly as he went down the hall. Not saying anything, or even think about what he just did. Though a part of him hated himself for doing so. That Boy, Cross. He had no family and now Arch was going to just up and abandon him. Arch didn't know about the doctor or Kard. It was like trusting the boy he had raise for four years as a brother to the care of complete strangers.

Sniper:

Rei walked ahead of Arch, but stayed close to him. She easily weaved through the halls as if she had known where they were going. It took no time to decide from forked hallways and multiple doors. Soon the hanger was in view.
"We have to be careful, there may be workers with your zoid... if good fate be with us they will have had it fixed already. " She whispered to him without looking back.

Dreamer:

Arch said nothing and just fallowed behind the woman, she seemed to know where they were going. And that seemed a little strange to him, but he would say anything. She had been right with everything so far.

Sniper:
Soon they were near the double doors leading to the hanger. There were rows of Zoids all in alphabetical order. The Mugan was near the far end between a Marasume Liger and another zoid in a large black crate. It had been thoroughly washed and polished. There were engineers in the hanger, but none of them were working on the Liger. They were all working on other banged up Zoids, and some even washing dirty zoid that were nearly finished.

"They have cameras in there... a lot of them... and many more workers in there."
She focused on the door as she spoke to Arch. They would now have to think of a way to get in without being noticed…. There were a lot of engineers in there and no doubt had tight security against anything that tried to come and steal anything.

Dreamer:

Stoping at the doors beside Rei, he let out a heavy sigh.

"Great...." he spoke softly in almost a low growl. How would they do it? Arch wasn't the sneckest of people but he could get around, but did he even care if they saw them........

It was just the idea of being stopped from leaving. That annoyied him and this was there best chance in doing so. But how

Sniper:

Rei looked to the door on the other side of the hallway than back at the door ahead of them.
"Now-"
He soft voice was cut off by an explosion in the hanger. Fog poured into the room along with streams of fire. A spine chilling screech came from deep within the fog. Workers begun to scramble and scream asking how it got past all the security.
Rei flinched and took a step away from the door. Her body trembled all over.

Dreamer:

Arch was caught off guard by the explosion, though he didn't jump or take a step back. He looked to Rei then to the doors, stepping forward Arch pushed the door open sligtly. A rush of fog drifted through the cracked door as the screeched seemed to have gotten louder as the door was open. This was a good opportunity, but a dangerous one. Arch glanced back at Rei then at back, As if to check and wait for the right moment. As well to give her a idea to what he was thinking

Sniper:

Rei could feel her legs stiffen up. Her mind told her to go, but her body fought that comand with every ounce of its being. She froze like a deer in the headlights of a large car.
"Sh-she.... is here...." She whispered in a tone so quiet it looked as if she mouthed it.
The screeching came again and the fog begun to turn black as ink.

Dreamer:

Arch let out a growl as he heard The woman's words, They had to go now. looking back at her, he noticed the look of shock in her eyes. If they left now, maybe, they could save the others, the innocent one.

Arch pushed the doors and started threw them. looking back forward as if to catch a glimpse of Whisper. Hoping that the smoke would be used as a blanket and the scattering workers as a distraction. To get to the mugen.

Sniper:

"BROTHER NO!" Rei shouted as she bolted through the double doors and vanished into the black fog.
The Judge's demonic laughter echoed thought the hanger and the halls as Rei ran. It was all too easy.

Dreamer:

Arch attention went to the Woman as she shouted and took off. Arch failing to Stop her, chased after her not knowing where to go...

"Whisper!" Arch called loudly hoping that his partner would hear him.

Sniper:

The shadowed figure of the Jury ran through the fog slicing anything in its path. Shortly after the figure appeared the fog begun to lift. Bits of mutilated zoids were strewed about the ground along with injured workers.
Rei was curled in a ball next to the Mugan Liger's front right paw.
Oddly, the mugen was the only Zoid without a scratch. The two zoids to the side of it were completely in half and stomped on.

But this wasn't the end of it, the black fog was now on the opposite side of its entry hole. The fog flashed red as fire shot from the shadow. It was preparing another run by.

"Run little man, run if you dare!" The Judge laughed and the Jury reared up and screeched.

Dreamer:

They need to get out of there fast. As the smog cleared Arch had darted toward Whisper the moment he saw him, who hadn't heard his call; it had been drowned out by the loud screech from the attacking Zoid.

"Whisper!" Arch yelled once again. At that moment the Zoid came to life; hearing Arch, and seeing him, He lowered his head next to his paw, the one contently Rei had taken refuge next to.

Seeing the attacking zoid out of the corner of his eye, it almost burned to look at it. Arch picked up his pace Not looking at the thing any fither, as he noticed it second start on a pass.

"Get In!" Arch commanded in a yelled, over the screech at the woman, gesturing with his hand to her in case she didn't hear him. as he quickly approached them both.

Sniper:

Rei quickly jumped into the cockpit and curled up in the seat. She used everything just to jump in when she was told to. Now, now the fear had set in and she completely froze up. Her whole body shook over as the demon laughed.

Fire glowed around the Jury as it charged forward. The bachi like screech made the walls tremble and any glass in the room break. Dark fog again begun to cover the room.

Dreamer:

Whisper rose as Rei climbed in his 'head' And turned and Started for Arch, the Pit still open, it was as if they where on the same mind set. Get in. Get out.

Arch dropped to his knees as the screech Blasted through his ears. clinching his head he let out a growl, though he himself couldn't' hear it. Whisper started toward Arch even as he dropped. Getting closer, Arch pulled himself agonizingly back up to a stand. As Whisper came so close he lowering his head close enough to the ground still moving forward, for arch to jump in on the run.

Arch had to time it right; leaping for the pit, his stomach somewhat hindering it, though he still made it, just barily. The action made It noticeable that he must have done this often.

As Arch was safely in the Pit he got himself situated. Whisper rose his head and flipped the pit to a close. And even without Touching a thing; the booster flicked to life and propelled the Zoid even faster.

Sniper:

Once they were out of the hanger the Jury took flight, running on the air as if gravity meant nothing to it. It's large scythes burst with a sudden crimson light as it chased after Whisper. The fog followed it up into the air, but trickled of onto the land like thick blood. All details about this Zoid were still unknown and the fog did a good job of keeping it that way.

They were both in the clear. Oddly there was no security out and trying to catch them. It was as if everyone was asleep.

Dreamer:

lights and Screens when off and flashed Warnings in the pit, by Arch didn't here a sound from any of the beeps or Alerts. His growl in his throat he made as he quickly pushed on the controls forward only mimicked the vibration the controls made as they powered whisper. He couldn't hear. he could by it was vary faint and only slowly coming back to him. Whisper Let out a Roar as he felt Arch push him harder, the Zoid's roar was out of Joy as it could move again, And proud the he actually had a proper fix up. Cross did a Awesome job with what he had, but it was noting compared to what a crew with proper equipment.

As Arch tried to escape, he did take notice of the lack of guard and security in fact he did from the beginning. But he in his present state of mind didn't care to notice. The Zoid was fallowing them Arch felt a least some satisfaction from being able to get the Zoid away from the building, but he face a problem, a obvious problem. It was fallowing them.

"Comeon buddy. " Arch whispered speaking to the mugen. Recalling the innocent from the village, this thing that was fallowing them Had a CPB, and Now it could Fly. Arch made a another growl at his luck. All he could do was run. he had no idea what he was up agents and what worst is that it could fly. And blow up things out of existence.

Sniper:

Than, with the sounding of an eerie church bell the demon vanished. The fog pulled apart and revealed a clear night sky. Soon after her voice could be heard laughing at him, mocking him. It was in his head.
-You can never escape me. I now you inside and out... murderer.... murderer- The last words trailed off into a silent whisper than was silent.

Rei was still huddled in the back. He joints stiff here eyes wide open. She looked to be dead. If it were not for her constant trembling one could easily mistake her for such.

Dreamer:

All in the momment the screens flicked of and became silent as if nothing happened. Arch let out growl that could have easily been mistake for a mone as he grabbed his head with one hand. The voice still persised, he couldn't hear clearly, but yet that Demon's word ran though his head as clear as bell. Was he going insane? Could she read his mind? It was as if she had sifted inside an out of it, she knew him to the core.
But how could she have known, about her, about that day. He and Whisper where the only ones that-. And those people they all died because, he was there. It was his falt. He had killed them.

Arch thoughts where scarmbled as he clinched his head, the words though not spoken, echoded though out his memory. The mark he bore, carved deeply to his bone; still stung to let him know that he was awake traped in a unwakeable Nightmare. It was all so confusing, why him-Becasue he was a murder. He killed them all.

As they where alone and Whisper without the signal from his Parturn turned off the boosters, and proceeded away from the mess they had left. That Arch cause. He didn't even know it Cross survided. He just dumped him there. Arch trusted the Zoid's judgement as Whisper did the same for Arch, Trusting in him as Songbird, trusted him.

Arch shock his head as if to stop the mentle asult, as he did he dropped his hand from his head. The woman in his little momment Arch had forgotten about her. Looking over his seat at her she looked over at her, and paused, was she even alive. Arch watched her for a momment, and on closer expection noticed that she was trembling, she was alive. leting out a sigh, Arch hearing still slow on coming in turned back around. He couldn't do anything at the moment. And she would have to see for her self if it was safe or not. As Arch didn't even know that answer.
