To apply for a Challenge against a current Sergeant, you and your challenging character must fulfill the following RP requirements in order to be eligible:

1. The challenging character must have been a full Private for at least 1 year, meaning at least a total of 2 years in the Patrol.
2. The challenging character must actively participate in any current Drill/Battle RP.
3. The challenging character must actively participate in one or more roleplays by posting at least once a week, not including the Drill/Battle RP.
4. The challenging character must be actively posting once a week for the four weeks before submission of application.
5. All characters must be active, meaning at least one post per month.

As long as the above requirements are met, then you may apply for a Challenge. But this does not mean your character will be promoted to Sergeant as your application can be accepted or rejected. If accepted, you still must meet the following rules and requirements for the actual roleplaying of the Challenge:

1. NO God-moding or Powerplaying.
2. Post a response at least once a week.
3. Finish the roleplay within four weeks.
4. As close to mirror-posting as possible is required, meaning no three sentence responses to a three paragraph post.
5. All characters must continue to stay active (at least one post per month), but the Challenge RP can be counted as the monthly post for the characters involved.

Winner of a Challenge will be determined mostly by overall activity of the roleplayers, as well as character personalities if necessary - higher activity in roleplay and in the thread as well as older more experienced characters have higher chances of winning. Failure to follow any of the above rules and requirements for the actual roleplaying of the Challenge by either the challenging roleplayer or the defending Sergeant roleplayer will result in automatic defeat.
