The sky was pitch black with clouds but for the full moon spilling its light in through gaps. A white coat with black markings lay discarded onto a branch, along with black slacks and pair of boots. Their owner was swimming in a lake surrender by thick lush forest.

The dark waters made it impossible to see him, however, whenever the healer came up for air, still, not human shape could be seen from his body, just a long trail of white hair. Which, when you add dark water, not body and moonlight, looked like just a six feet long ghostly white spirit playing near the surface of the water. The owner of the long white hair dived down, making the white spirit disappeared into the dark murky waters. The surface of the water went still for a few minutes before the wisp-ful spirit came back up, disturbing it.

In the darkest shadow of a tree, white ghostly hair came out, follow by two of the bluest eyes. The darkai watched this phenomena on the lake, peeking up the clothes hung over it, it gingerly....stole all of it.

It was an ideal night. Dark, not too cold, and a full moon was shining with it's ghostly brilliance through the clouds. And what was even better was that Nerezza's annoying and narcissistic cousin, Itzal, was absent. All in all, Nerezza the Gastly was as happy as could be. As she floated through the gloom of the forest, she kept her eyes open for any subtle movements. Thankfully, in the dark of the night, hardly any wild Pokemon disturbed the quiet of the shadows. And if they did, they would have an angry Gastly to deal with. Nerezza chuckled slightly at the thought of attacking any rouge Pokemon unfortunate enough to cross her path and floated towards the direction of a lake she knew of in this forest, which was the perfect place to think.

When the Gastly got to the lake, she could see a small disturbance in the moonlit waters. She held her breath and waited for whatever it was to rise from the murky waters. After a short while, Nerezza could see a small blur of white appearing from the lake. The Ghost Pokemon lowered her eyes and tried to focus on the white shape and with her night vision, she could determine the outline of a man. The Gastly blushed a little and grimaced, quickly turning her face away from the lake. She shuddered a little and made haste to float away from this area of the forest, but out of the corner of her eye, she could see a movement in the trees. Happy to distract herself, she floated towards the place where she saw the movement.

As she neared where she thought she saw something, Nerezza ran almost headlong into a tall, dark creature. She gave a small cry of shock and backed up a bit to see a large black body, a head of white wispy hair, and what looked almost like bloodstains on the black body. The Gastly's eyes widened, not in fright but in shock, at the realization that she had bumped into a Darkrai, a Legendary Pitch-Black Pokemon. Oh. Lovely... As Nerezza contemplated leaving as quickly as possible before being killed by the Darkrai, she noticed that the Pokemon had what looked like... clothes. Human clothes. The Gastly's brow furrowed and she smirked nervously. "Gast gastly gast, gastly? Gastly gast gast gastly..." "So what's with the clothes, eh buddy? You don't seem to be the dressing-up type..." Nerezza laughed nervously and her blue eyes darted around to find a potential place to escape if things got ugly.

The red-stained darkai arched a brow as he felt something bump against him, bright glowing eyes looking towards a small ghastly. Holding the clothes in his hands, he floated upwards into the trees, making sure to put them in a secluded corner a few trees away. "I am not a dressing-up type....I am just starting some mischief...."

A heavy dripping sound got the darkai's attention, sinking into the shadows to watch. A clawed hand from the darkai pulled the gastly to hide in the shadows as well, even thought the blood stains seemed to be markings, the pokemon stank of blood.

Out of the water, with slow steps, was coming out the human, who was just wearing a pair of black boxers. Well over six feet tall, washboard abdomen and toned body, but not overly so. Ghostly white scars and close wounds scatter all around, minus a new wound near his abdomen, a five inch cut, bleeding strangely because of the water clinging to him. The red blood gave away how pale his skin was, he was probably just a couple of shades away from being pure snow white as his long hair was. The long locks of hair clung against his skin, wet, the tips almost brushed against the ground, they glowed under the moonlight.

A thick scent came from him, a pokemon scent. Unidentifiable, but certainly not human.

With heavy steps, he came to the spot where he had left his clothes, only to find them gone. Deep purple eyes narrow, and he gave a low hiss, showing the tips of long canine fangs that belong on a predator.

Nerezza relaxed slightly as she saw that this Darkrai wasn't as savage as she thought, but she kept her guard up. Strange Pokemon weren't to be trusted, especially shady Dark-type Pokemon. She watched curiously as the Darkrai placed the clothes in a corner of the trees. "Uh-huh... Mischief, you say? I don't disapprove. But who's clothes are those, anyway? Someone you wanted to spite, maybe?" The Gastly was never opposed to a bit of trouble-making. She chuckled to herself at the memory of the time she hid her trainer's backpack from her for days on end but was startled back into reality when she was pulled into the gloom by the Darkrai. She let out a small cry of shock and struggled to be let free, but she stopped suddenly when she could smell the scent of blood on the Darkrai. Eyes open in fright, Nerezza stopped struggling and became still, dreading in her mind what this Pokemon may do to her if she resisted.

As she grew silent, she could see that same blur of white that she saw in the lake. Before she could say anything to the Darkrai, she could smell something different entirely: the scent of a Pokemon, a heavy scent. The Gastly's eyes were now wide in surprise and looked at the man curiously. She was careful not to make any noise, but was caught her attention was many faint wounds on the stranger. One of the wounds was bleeding. As he hissed, Nerezza could see the tips of what were almost fangs, much like hers. She frowned and looked at the Darkrai by her suspiciously. As quietly as she could, she addressed the Pokemon. "Friendly chap. Is he yours?"

The darkrai let her go once he was sure she wasn't moving or speaking. At her question, he just gave a soft chuckle.

The human paced a few feet to each side from the spot his clothes should had been. He groaned and growled as he found nothing, he didn't know why he was looking, he had a white coat, the thing almost glowed in the moonlight.

What irk him was that the pokemon that brought him here, away from his campsite, was a very large arcanine who was sleeping in his pokeball....which was in his belt. The human seemed to ponder something, but that thought was obviously mute when the human shivered and shook his head rapidly. It apparently, wasn't a pleasant thought.

When he open his purple eyes, an odd glint came to them as they spotted something. Two somethings actually, a ghostly gaseous plume and two glowing blue eyes. "......................Darkest...." The voice was calm and cold. Without losing elegance in his anger, the man walked towards the two pokemon.

Nerezza was growing more suspicious every minute she was with this Darkrai. Who was he, and who was this human? And why did the human smell like a Pokemon? These questions buzzed in the Gastly's head like a swarm of angry Beedrill and she had to bite her tongue to prevent herself from asking any more questions. She watched the Darkrai chuckle when she asked him if the man was his human, and she watched as the stranger rummaged for his stolen clothes. From the glow of the moonlight, the man seemed almost... handsome, while in comparison, the Darkrai beside her looked as nightmarish as ever.

As the Gastly watched this man with curiosity, she quietly addressed the Darkrai once more. "So, from that chuckle, I'm assuming that he is your human. But why take his clothes?" As she asked the question, Nerezza's eyes were darting around, looking for a possible exit to escape if need be. Such a quiet and peaceful night it was... until now. In her mind, the Gastly groaned. How did she get mixed up in this? Oh, right... she thought to herself. It's that damnable curiosity of mine again. The same one that almost got me killed. Yeah, I remember now. Crap...

Nerezza gritted her sharp teeth, and slowly and quietly inched her way away from the Darkrai and hopefully away from the strange man. Her breath was held and she dared not to make a sound. As she looked around frantically for a place to slip off into the dark, she caught sight of the man's eyes. They were a deep purple, and even to a Ghost Pokemon, they were terrifying. Nerezza gave out a cry of alarm, then realizing what she had done, she clamped a gaseous tendril of her body over her mouth. Taking care not to move her eyes to where the Darkrai was so as not to give him away, she uttered a small word to the Pokemon: "Sorry."

The man picked something from a branch and pushed it against each side of his head before approaching the full way, just as the darkai fully disappeared into the darkness of the night. As he came closer to Nerezza, it became clear that what he had put on was some kind of machinery over each of his ears, with his head pressed against him still from being wet, it was quiet obvious to see. However, had his hair been its normal self, it would had cover most of it, leaving just two little rounded metallic horns that look like they were sprouting from his head.

He clicked something on one of them and looked at the Gastly then around before his eyes settle down on her. "Good night, dear lady." Most couldn't tell the gender of ghost, but taking in count he worked with so many pokemon, he hardly had a problem anymore. "Well, you are certainly not Dreydonna, which I must say Im thank for, after all, with my current situation." He spoke with a lighter voice then he had before, sounding much more warm and friendly. That glint on his eye appeared again and he sniffed the air before suddenly turned around, long-fingered hand grabbing onto the Darkai's red horns that adorned about his chest.

"I can smell the blood on you, Darkest. Now where are my clothes before I decided to see if you can truly kill what is already dead." The warmth gone, leaving a steel cold dark voice behind.

The darkai gave a low chuckle again, with a wave, the clothes came floating.

The man grabbed them and began to dress, muttering under his breath for a long moment before eyeing the gastly again. "Whose your friend, Darkest? I don't believe I have met this particular ghost yet....is she one of Ezekiel's new ones?"

The darkai shook his head before looking over at the female, as if expecting her to fill in the lines.

Nerezza froze and watched the man more with curiosity than fear. He wore an odd headband with weird looking horns or earphones or whatever. At this closer range, the Gastly could see the man fully: he was tall, he had very long white hair, which is what she saw in the lake, and he had a number of scars on his body. Nerezza's blue eyes widened and she chuckled slightly at the human. He no longer seemed menacing. "Hello. It's a rather nice night, hm? I'm not quite sure who Dreydonna is..." The Gastly cast the man a sidelong glance. "...But from the way you address her, I would assume that she is not exactly favored company." The Gastly was finally calming down, but she jumped again when the man grabbed the Darkrai from the shadows.

Figurative heart pounding in her chest, Nerezza watched as the Darkrai (Which she assumed was called "Darkest.") handed the man his clothes back and the human dressed. Nerezza turned her vision away from the man for modesty, blushing slightly. But she glanced back again when she felt the gaze of the Darkrai and the human on her. She laughed a little. "I don't know who Ezekiel is... Or who either of you are. I just happened to bump into this fellow..." Nerezza motioned towards Darkest. "...While on my constitutional, and things just began happening after that. My name is Nerezza, by the way." The Gastly smiled charmingly, showing off her sharp pointed teeth. Somehow in her gut, though, Nerezza knew that she wouldn't be able to intimidate this human and his Darkrai easily.
