Christmas was over. That was all there was to it. The joy and light that had seemed to take over the world had faded, to a very, very pale glow. There was still snow on the ground at least. Cambria was thankful for that. The world should never be without snow..it added a sort of magic that winter needed. The wish yawned as she wondered around her forest home, jumping in the air every few feet, laughing at how cold her paws got. Once or twice she saw a rabbit and lunged for it, trying to catch it, but those little creatures were just too fast.

Holly would never admit that Christmas was over; it wasn't just a season for her, but sort of a way of life. She loved the season because quarrels seem to dissapear and kindness overtakes the world.
On this particular walk, she was actually on the look out for more holly plants to bring home with her. Finding a small bush, she walked closer to inspect it, yelping a bit and leaping backwards when a rabbit rushed out from under it.

There was a sound, almost a roar from Cambria as she jumped after the rabbit. "Come back here! You stupid animal! Let me catch you for once!" The poor wish didn't even realize another of her own kind was right there...that is until she crashed into her. "Ow!"

The near-roar caused Holly to look up just in time to see a black and pink wish crash into her. She had enough time to close her eyes and turn her head before she found herself on the ground. "Owwies...."

The wish shook her head, rubbing at her face with a paw. "What were you doing? You made me lose my rabbit! That's not cool!"

Holly's ears drooped. "I-I-I'm really sorry, I didn't mean to...." She looked down, tears beginning to well at the corners of her eyes. How was she supposed to have known that rabbit was being chased? It's not like she was getting this other girl's way for fun.

Cambria sighed and sat down on the ground, letting out a yawn. "Aw, I guess it's okay. Who are you? I've never seen you around here before."
