At midnight on New Years I made the resolution to learn how to knit real lace. So when I got home that night I ordered a bunch of lace yarn from the interwebs as my local yarn store does not really carry laceweight. *sadness* And plus "Santa" (I know who you are, "Santa")got me some knitting books, some of which were on lace knitting, so it made all kinds of sense. I am about 1/3 of the way through my very first lace shawl now. heart I also made a half-assed resolution with my doc to improve my health, and I've kinda started working on that.

Thanks smile The knitting of the lace is going well so far, it's very exciting. As far as my health goes, it's not majorly bad, but improvement will help me in the long run. I know it'll take a while to truly improve it (since I'm seeking to actually change some habits, instead of a more temporary measure) and habits take time to change. But I know if I stick with it I can do it, I just have to stick with it.
