Freed was overjoyed, and felt somehow that a new chain had been mended to his flighty heart, giving him a new reason not to run away. The alpha would be stronger now, becoming an alpha pair. He had liked Draka from the day she showed up in South Seaside and watched her growing, wishing that maybe he could have been an omega to watch pups and help in growth.
No one else had moved and most were talking amongst themselves now. Freed took the opportunity to step out of his personal boundaries and approached the pair first. When he felt he was close enough, he flopped as gracefully as possible to the ground, exposing his soft stomach to his new alpha female. He approved harder than anyone else would, and for once, was not afraid to show it.
After Draka motioned for him to get up, he did, nuzzling her chin on his way. She was dwarfed by him, as was Samhain, though Sam was a big wolf. He pondered these things as he made his way to mingle with the new pups. He would have made a good Shield.

Ave felt it odd that the gamma had shown first approval, and not the beta. Varok seemed off to her, always mumbling to himself. She didn't trust his eyes, either.
"Stay here." she whispered to the pups before making her own way towards her new alphas. She had reservations about this - after all, she did have the most intense feelings for Samhain that any wolf could have. But... she was the opposite of him, the Omega. She could deal with this somehow.
She felt strange approaching before Varok, but it didn't seem as though the new alpha's brother wanted to even acknowledge her. Hmm.
Dropping to her belly halfway to the pair, she scooted along. It was first nature; Ave wasn't certain how to approach standing tall. This was also an oddity to her. Her mother was alpha of her own pack, and managed quite well alone with no mate to speak of. But things had started to happen there, things that she dared not think of.
"My alpha." she spoke, pausing in front of Draka for the first time not as equals.

Pol had no idea what was going on. His alpha had to come out and tell the whole pack he liked a girl?! How... interesting. And why was everyone rolling and crawling towards Draka anyway? It seemed awfully disrespectful to show such a lazy side of oneself in front of an alpha.
He hadn't promised to stay there when Ave told them to, and as his caretaker began to walk back towards the pair, he took off like a shot. It was his turn to... do whatever the adults were doing!
"Come on!" he yipped excitedly to his sister, pouncing ahead to get a lead and win the 'race'.
Sol sat with a placid smile upon her tiny face. She wouldn't pretend to understand what was going on, and was content to watch the antics of the adults. Ave told them to stay there. Her brother shifted beside her, and she leaned over and licked his face, inciting a small cry of indignation.
A few moments later Ave was headed back towards them. The look on her face was hard to read, but she seemed happy. Until Sol felt a rustle at her side once more, and heard the small voice of her brother egging her on. And oh it was on.
The pups raced towards Draka, intent on doing whatever the others were doing, she assumed. As they ripped past Ave, the expression on the adult's face turned from happiness to complete and utter panic. Sol contemplated stopping and going back to where she had been told to stay, but by the time the thought was fully formed, the siblings were right at the paws of their alphas.
Sol grinned sheepishly as Draka looked down at her. The alpha female washed her tongue over each of their heads, and with a plain and simple "Ewww" from Pol, the pair turned around and raced back towards Ave, pouncing and headbutting each other all the way.

The male felt the bile rising in his throat. He had suspected that the two were becoming a pair, but now they had just announced it publicly. His sister was to become his alpha. His loins quivered as he approached, but the full effect was held back by the idea that his sister would be violated by Samhain. It made him sick, and he shook as he neared the pair.
He felt no desire to crawl around on the ground or bare himself to the pair as the lesser wolves had done. He was the rightful owner of this pack, the rightful mate of Draka, and he would set all things right within the next few nights.
He snarled lightly as he nodded his head to Samhain, walking past him the few feet to where his sister sat, awaiting approval as alpha. He moved closer to her and pressed his body to hers, whispering in her ear. "You are my alpha."
When he felt he could control himself again, he retreated, leaving the entire area, too loathe to stick around with the others.
