Celest took comfort in the last few seconds of warm Malek-snuggle, which she didn't think too hard about. It was comforting, but she didn't realize how out of the blue it must have been for Malek. Then Malek leaped up and announced it was time to make his speech. Celest figred he was raring to go. And then he was in Captain mode again.

Celest leaped up and frolicked to Malek's side. "Yes sir Chief!" she laughed, "Just kidding. Let's go Malek." She nudged him playfully. She was proud, but she was also very happy that Malek and her were closer.

“Don’t call me… right.” He started with a rather exasperated tone as he turned to face Celeste but sighed as the spunky female rephrased her words. His eyes lingered on her shape for few moments, taking in her unusual coat – as unusual as her personality, he thought in silence – moving through the peculiar pattern with a somewhat appraising look, stopping at the tip of her muzzle to stare at her cute little pink nose before losing himself in her clear blue eyes.

Awakening, he suddenly gave a rough snort that sounded as if a wave of dust had obstructed his breathing, turned around and started moving towards the remaining pride members with quick steps. He might’ve been seeing himself as a father figure of sorts but he was realizing – perhaps a little too quickly as he felt the presence of the female next to him – how fast those feelings could change. Celest wasn’t his daughter, she wasn’t even a little sister that he had to protect anymore. She was… well, a girl. And it was amazing how something so obvious was rocking him to his core.

“Right… let’s go.”
