So, I've been looking up other guilds, just for the lulz (I can't really find another one like fashun, though), and I found this guild that, apparently, is a place for people to express their opinions freely and just be themselves. Sounds nice, amirite? Well, I roamed around said guild, read some very long threads, and I kept finding that I wouldn't feel "at home" there. Why? Because the resident (and very disrespectful, I might add) flamer apparently is seen like a goddess for a lot of people there. I like to see that people still respect other's opinion, kthxbai.

-flamers
-rude people that still seem "cooler" to others
-people that stand up for themselves and end up getting bashed by flamers' followers (yup, they do it too.)

I want to burn that guild. Now, this is a guild where I feel at home and free to express myself.

I get out of guilds where that happens with the exception of one where all the heat is on a new captain- trying to help the cap'n out D: He needs impartial supporters.
The issue there is that the previous captain went inactive for years, so he took over- and everyone else thinks he should put someone else that they approve in charge despite having been VC for a long time. They've been nothing but hostile, flaming pretty much every decision he's ever made. It's irritating- they think they own the guild just because they're 'senior' members :l
I'm in a few guilds where I feel at home. Fashun is one, the AGA is another. The NSTG feel like home also.

@ Sir: a while ago, I posted in their Life Issues section some issues I was going through, looking for a fresher look at things. Said flamer did flame me, and then her followers bashed whoever tried to actually help me. It's quite revolting.
Yesterday I was reading a thread about pregnancy and that girl just flamed the OP, and when someone tried to actually make a point, she just insulted said person, who insulted back (not realy a good method, but oh well). One of her worshippers started adising her to take back her statement and the guild owner told her she would get her banned ._.' (protecting the flamer, obviously)
@ Day: I only feel at home here or at my own guild. I was the only one ready to take control of it when thing were going bad, and now it's all good ^^
