Solf J Kimblee BOOM floating_shoppinglist the sweet far thing I am hoping for an epic ending! Arakawa better not let me down like she did with *cough* Stupid Alphonse *cough* My best friend and fellow otaku Rickey and I were talking about the end. (he is not much of an FMA fan, he perfers mangas will more boobs. Lust just doesn't do the job for him) but he gave the worst ever prediction here:
Edward defeats father and sees Alphonse dead.
Ed: No! I will give my new arm and my sould for Al.
Al: No! I will give my body to save Big Brother!
eventually the process will go on till they are both made of metal and none of their original bodies are back.
Al: Brother we are both full Metal!
Ed: Yes Al, we are
The manga ends with them both walking to the sunset with this song playing
If it ends like that I will cry. XD
I agree with Cassaela and think that Al might give his soul to the gate permanently ton get Ed his body back. Maybe Al will even be reunited with his mother. if that happens, I'll scorn FMA forever xD That's a little harsh. However, I would be in denial like I am with the first anime ending and movie. Starts mumbling to himself: "Ed and Al never came to our world! They never got stuck on our side!" aww come on.. you know I can't find it to scorn fma! xD

I'm just gonna copy my answer to the same question on the FMA facebook page. 3nodding
Basically, I'd like either Hoenheim or Scar will sacrifice themselves to get back Alphonse/returning Roy's eyesight/Izumi's organs etc. Hoenheim, because he doesn't want to live without Trisha and Scar because, well, I can't see him having much involvement with the rebuilding of Amestris (but if he didn't die, I COULD see him rebuilding Ishbal instead) and it looks as if he's dying anyway. It'll definately establish his good guy nature; saving everyone else at the cost of his own life.
Realistically though, I can only see Hoho/Scar getting back Al. It'd be equivalency- one body for one. Roy could get used to being blind, he seemed to be adjusting with his "seeing eye dog", Hawkeye and getting used to clapping alchemy. Izumi is already living with half her organs missing, she knows she'll die sooner anyway. And Ed, well, he's got his arm again. (Not sure about his leg, was it shown that he'd got that back too?) But if it IS Hoho that sacrifices himself, I want Ed to call him "Dad" at least once before his death. I've been waiting for that for years.
Olivia could definately be Fuhrer with Alex as her subordinate. Ling and Lan Fan, after Father's death (after Ed pwns him) go back to Xing with the secret of immortality. But with Father's death, I can see Greed dying. Without his original creator, he can't survive. And thus Ling'll become emperor because he teaches the people all about cherishing life, friends etcc. And Lan Fan will watch over him. ^^)
I have to say though, if something happens to Winry, something completely out of the blue and she sacrifices herself then I'll be mad. She's definately not my favourite female by far, but I couldn't imagine Ed and Al without her. I never really thought about Winry/Truth, but the majority of the openings ARE spoilers or hints. So yeah, I can see Winry having some uber cool role to play in the final chapter. Not sure of what it could be though. But no Winry death! ¬¬
Yeah, kind of long. I'm not sure how close it'd be to the actual ending though. lol
I know though, that Arakawa will make it amazing.

I think that the one who'll bring Al back would be Ed cause he has to go to the gate after all if he wants his leg back. It's waiting for hime there, the only problem would be toll he has to pay and I think this is where Hoho will sacrifice himself ( though it would be nice if there was another option, like sacrificing someone's blood instead of limbs, organs or life). Besides I don't know if anyone but Ed can reach Al, the bond between their minds is now the only connection with Al

As long as they don't pull a 'first anime' ending where one of the brothers sacrifices themselves.. I think I'll be happy.

Onemanga. You cannot get the latest chapters from borders, most of those stores have only OLD volumes.

I'm sure all of the canon shippers are dying for 108, because the last chapter is the chapter with the most likelihood of, er, slushy pairing stuff.
I want AT LEAST A HUG, and a KISS WOULD BE GREAT
(From Roiai and LinFan and AlMei. EdWin would be cute but you guys know I don't ship that pairing wink )

I want AT LEAST A HUG, and a KISS WOULD BE GREAT (From Roiai and LinFan and AlMei. EdWin would be cute but you guys know I don't ship that pairing wink ) Completely agreed. I've been waiting for fluff from all the canon pairings.. (Besides from the ever fluffy Izumi and Sig) I even care for the small pairings too.. (Proud to ship DennyxMaria biggrin )

There's only one thing I can say, and that is...
THERE HAD BETTER BE SOME EDXWINRY IN THIS CHAPTER!!!!
Come on, everyone's been looking forward to it. Winry even said it herself, and Ed blushes everytime something is mentioned about him and Winry being "together."
If the cow disappoints me again, I will sadface my whole entire life and never read anything Arakawa related again. D8<
